I'm not sure how to feel I'm 12dpo nd af due Thursday
Today I can feel some small cramps and bloating 😔
I'm worried that I'm out and maybe this af coming?
Any advice or comfort?

worldwidetravel2017 · 07/11/2023 11:27

Period atm here
Guna try our luck 4 pregnancy next week.
Last cycle ovulation was around day 15 but had to avoid getting pregnant last cycle due to ct scan abdomen

Month before that was early miscarriage

I'm a lot more desperate to see a BFP this time round so I might do the same and test 2 days before or so... with my daughter I just knew before I'd even taken the test it was very odd x

I'm exactly the same. Keen on this cycle cause it would provide a decent age gap with DD, and ensure child is born before September (DH and I already Sept babies). Hoping for a July or August birth.

How old is your DC? Mine turns 18months next week

NelliePig · 07/11/2023 15:29

Just turned 3! I've had to put off TTC for a while with health issues so I'm keen to conceive as soon as possible! I always thought I'd be more relaxed with number 2 😂 would also love another summer baby!

ceruleansky · 08/11/2023 03:02

Does anyone know if people are advised against having sex in the tww?
Does it affect implantation?

I was advised against any road travel. So it got me thinking about any activity that should be avoided during the tww.

rupertbear91 · 08/11/2023 06:32

Morning everyone. Congrats on all the BFPs!!!

I had ovulation confirmed on Fertility friend this morning and am supposedly 3dpo but had a dip in bbt today 😭 I read it can be a fallback ride but now terrified of it doesn't go up again tomorrow!

Weirdly since Monday (supposedly 1dpo) I have had such sore nipples. To the point a bra is painful. Anyone else had that? I thought normally that occurred during Ovulation?

WishingUponARainbow · 08/11/2023 07:49

@ceruleansky there's nothing to suggest that sex affects implantation.

We conceived and had sex during the TWW. Go for it ☺️😏

MrsP21918 · 08/11/2023 08:19

Morning all. 7DPO and woken up to mild cramps and very very slight pinky/brown spotting. Would like to be hopeful but feel it’s probably the start of AF which is due Friday!

Because I’m crazy and love POAS 😂 I did an ovulation test which was pretty dark, I’ve heard it can be a sign of pregnancy but also can get dark in the lead up to AF so not sure why I bothered!

Why does this wait so crazy things to us?!

I had very sore boobs when preg

Outliers · 08/11/2023 09:28

5DPO. No discernible symptoms.

More tired than usual despite being very well rested, but that could just be the season change and work being busy.

Also haven't heard of sex affecting implantation.

ceruleansky · 08/11/2023 11:57

Thanks for confirming @WishingUponARainbow and @Outliers
I should just stay away from Google...

4DPO and mild cramps on on the side that had the follicle. Whatever that means...
It's a long wait...

pontipinemum · 08/11/2023 11:57

@Blueberry1990 this is mine, I was steady low until CD 13 CD 14 peak, so I guess ovulation around CD 15/16 and the LH dropped right off again.

When I got pregnant with DS thought my DH peak was under 1. It might have gone higher I just didn't catch it

@MrsP21918 I sometimes wonder was it easier before all this. Did you just have to wait and because there was nothing out there to check you just let it go. I know some women would be anxious anyway. But like with exam results. I know I will know on a certain day and can usually put it out of my mind until a day or two before. But if I could get a sniff of them the week before I would be checking and driving myself demented!!

MrsP21918 · 08/11/2023 13:20

@pontipinemum You are so right! We have too much available to us these days and the temptation is too much to resist.
I’ve had a bit more bleeding now so looks like this is definitely the start of AF.

The disappointment doesn’t get any easier!

Jadehiggs · 08/11/2023 14:37

Hey, everyone. I have a question.

Today I'm 8dpo. Been getting dark OPK's since 3dpo which I find strange...but got a negative pregnancy test today, which is to be expected. If it matters, I used to temp but didn't temp this month and tracked ovulation through the OPK's, CM and cervix. I ovulated Halloween night. Then the next day, dry down there, and my cervix was closed, low and firm. The previous two days, it had been ewcm, open and very high.

Been keeping track and been getting ewcm two days in a row. Few days it was sticky, then wet, now ewcm. My cervix is now medium height, OPEN and medium feel. Idk what to think. It had been high, closed and firm the past few days.

My symptoms have been cramping on and off for 3 days, lower back pain, bloating and earlier when I went pee there were tiny pink dots of blood. Not many, just one or two per wipe. Any thoughts? Am I wasting my time testing?

Lushfanatic123 · 08/11/2023 18:43

I'm possibly 9dpo and have been a little unwell (cough and cold ish).

I have been off my food last couple of days and this morning I kept feeling nauseous.

I brought a cake for lunch, took two bites and felt sick and didn't finish it.

Is it too early for symptoms like that?

Also had cramps and no spotting (last couple of months I have had spotting a week before my peirod). I have five days until AF.

pontipinemum · 08/11/2023 20:42

@Lushfanatic123 You could do an early detection test?

Lushfanatic123 · 08/11/2023 20:51

I thought it might be too early?

I'm worried is it because I'm unwell rather than pregnant, although I have never had an illness that puts me off eating cake.

Thought it would be too early to have food aversions, did anyone else have this?

Outliers · 08/11/2023 21:02

I had cramping today.

However last month my period came a whole week early -never happened before in my life. But potential blessing as meant I could TTC earlier.

If it was a week early again that would mean I'm due in a couple days!

Could try test first thing in the AM. 10DPO early but not worst

WishingUponARainbow · 08/11/2023 21:17

Today is CD24 and I'm 2/3DPO.
I had my follow up appointment at the GP today.

She said my progesterone levels are lower than she'd like and although I don't meet the criteria yet (I'm under 35 and haven't been trying for 2 years yet) she is going to try and refer me to a clinic.
Does anyone have any rough idea of how long a referral might take?
I'm not naive enough to think that this is going to be a quick process 😬

happymum1001 · 08/11/2023 22:44

Haven’t been active on this chat since start of this cycle! Hope everyone is doing okay:) I’m hoping this is my peak🤞🏽

Hi ladies I'm cd18 and have had high opks since cd16. I tested for 42 days last cycle and never got a positive, the cycle went on to last for 60 days and the one before was 65 days so getting a positive opk is exciting. But now can't stop with the positives! How long do you find your positive opks tend to last for? Am I right in thinking ovulation is 24 to 48 hours after peak so won't happen until it goes negative again? Or does me keep having these high ones mean this won't be a surge just weird hormone levels so I won't ovulate? Thanks!

wanderlustre · 09/11/2023 08:11

@WishingUponARainbow I was referred by my GP in April and had an appointment by mid-May (for the Women's in Liverpool). So the wait for the first appointment was pretty quick but it took 6 months to get my follow up. First appointment was lots of tests (bloods, internal scan, vaginal swab, medical history, DH did a seven analysis a few days later) and second appointment was results. My results were pretty concerning so I was immediately referred for IVF which they hope will start within 6 weeks (I'm under the 2 years of trying by about 6 months but the consultant said there was no time to waste). I imagine wait times will be different depending on the capacity of the hospital but hope that helps a bit.
