Great to see all the BFPs on the thread! I am 6-7 dpo and had lots of weird symptoms but have been struck down with a winter vomiting bug so feel like that's ruined my chances completely ! We will see. Due on period on 14th Nov

Alwaystired2023 · 06/11/2023 10:28

This is a really lucky thread everyone - got my BFP this morning after a lot of negatives from early testing this cycle

So so happy and so so pleased for all of you ladies too

Massive hugs for those still waiting and of course sending lots of baby dust xx

MrsHousePlant · 06/11/2023 11:09

Congratulations @Alwaystired2023 ! I’m amazed by the number of BFPs already in this thread.

Sending love and baby dust to everyone else here. Hope the TWW is going well for those of you in it ✨💕

hicketypickety · 06/11/2023 11:27

@ceruleansky that's great news!! I am very conscious that it can always turn into a we "must" DTD at XYZ time and that turns it into a chore and somehow makes it more stressful?! So glad the Dr said it was all good!

Huge congratulations to everyone else who has their BFPs what a baby boom! I would self refer as early as poss, that's what they advised me last time with DS 💕

Alwaystired2023 · 06/11/2023 11:40

Thanks so much - also amazed at this thread after such a long time waiting and getting so much strength from you ladies all in a similar position, baby boom indeed!

NelliePig · 06/11/2023 11:43

How early are people testing? Periods due 22nd, but I think It's more likely to come 20th and that ovulation was the 5th. I only have Internet cheapest and with my daughter I took one test the day before period and got a positive, literally my one and only ever positive pregnancy test so no clue how early you can see results x

pontipinemum · 06/11/2023 12:01

Awwwww @Sleepysheepish congratulations!!!

@ceruleansky sorry I really don't know anything about trigger shots. But if it is similar to having a LH surge I think it sounds like you are pretty well covered

pontipinemum · 06/11/2023 12:13

@Alwaystired2023 yay!!! Congratulations

OK stupid lady here. I did a test this morning because I wanted to see really dark lines. Well I am only seeing 1 dark line and a bare hint of a shadow. But yesterday my cheapie was quite dark and my CB said 1-2 weeks. Aw why do I do this to myself! I have a tesco test and CB digital left as well. I will 'concentrate' my pee hopefully get do it again later. Then bin the rest.

Outliers · 06/11/2023 12:21

Congrats on all the positive! And good luck to those still waiting.

2/3 DPO. Back at work so time is going quickly. Had a pregnancy dream -which suggests it is at the back of my mind. I have a very busy weekend ahead so I imagine that will also help keep time.

My DC, DP and myself have all caught a bug on our travels - so slightly worried that might compromise conception, but feeling better today.

narwhalsarereal · 06/11/2023 12:53

Hi all

I'm on CD11 & due to ovulate on Thursday, I'm not tracking at the min as it's only month 2 of TTC.
We did the deed on Friday as due to work commitments and we don't live together, we won't see each other till after my predicted ovulation & Friday was out only chance 😢

I'm pretty sure I'll be out this month as it was a little early, but I could ovulate early so who knows.

Congratulations to all who have had BFP! Seems like a lucky thread!

123456789ss · 06/11/2023 13:00

Congratulations to all the BFPs!
So good to see.

AF here today 😞 so I'll be joining the December group

Noirbleu · 06/11/2023 13:54

Tested this morning and BFN. Was an Asda cheapie though but was no denying it was neg.

pontipinemum · 06/11/2023 14:10

@123456789ss I hope December is your Lucky Month 💃

@Noirbleu how many DPO are you? I have a BFN on a Tesco one a few days ago

Noirbleu · 06/11/2023 14:44

@pontipinemum I stupidly didn't track this cycle as me and dh were both away on and off so didn’t think this would be the cycle! My cycles are normally 24 days and I’m day 28 now. Think I will hold off til Thursday and if nothing test with a better test! Xx

pontipinemum · 06/11/2023 14:54

@Noirbleu 4 days late is pretty late! Yes test again in a few days x

wanderlustre · 06/11/2023 14:55

Hey everyone. Took a few days away to process our bad news from the fertility clinic but wanted to pop back to say a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who got their BFPs! I'm so happy for you all!

Our chances of conceiving naturally are pretty low so we are thinking of taking the pressure off ourselves whilst we wait for the IVF referral. I'm not sure how much I will be tracking etc. so I may bow out for the time being. But I wanted to say thank you to everyone for their support and kindness!

I might well be back, I just love peeing on sticks 😂

ceruleansky · 06/11/2023 15:10

@Alwaystired2023
Congratulations to you!!! 🥳🥳

@hicketypickety
So true, I usually don't have a problem but DH is like I don't even want to know the dates or I can't do it. 🤣
You're awfully close to your ovulation day now! How are you doing? Do you plan to track bbt or just go with the kits?

@pontipinemum
No idea when ovulation occurs after the trigger shot but it's supposed to be within 24-48hrs. I took an ovulation test this morning (after 72 hrs) and saw 2 clear lines and went with it. 😄
How are you doing? Are you excited!!

Alwaystired2023 · 06/11/2023 15:52

@wanderlustre really look forward to the day that you come on to let us all know your bubba is on the way 🤞🏻be kind to yourself xx

Winterwonderland1 · 06/11/2023 17:25

Does anyone know if CB digital or pre-mom strip tests are more reliable?

Winterwonderland1 · 06/11/2023 17:26

Sorry for ovulation!

Nikki2023 · 07/11/2023 05:21

second time ever getting positive test (first resulted in a chemical pregnancy in July) in our 4 years TTC. First month ever posting on mumsnet, usually just using others post as guidelines. Really hoping this one stick. CB is very faint, but first response clear. Any ideas why ?

Noirbleu · 07/11/2023 08:23

I’m out this month! See how we look in December 😌

MrsP21918 · 07/11/2023 08:54

@Nikki2023 aww massive congrats to you! I believe the CB tests require more HCG hence the fainter line on that test

@Noirbleu sorry to hear! Hoping next month is your month

With my first I don't think I tested until period was due, though I was content with trying few more cycles.

I'm going to TRY and do the same this time round. AF due on 18th, earliest i would is 2days prior. Fingers crossed. What about you?

NelliePig · 07/11/2023 10:04

I'm a lot more desperate to see a BFP this time round so I might do the same and test 2 days before or so... with my daughter I just knew before I'd even taken the test it was very odd x
