Morning ladies.

AF showed up yesterday 16th Oct Booooo. This is my 9th cycle. Made an apt with GP as I am over 35 and we really tried everything so now need some tests and OH to.
TTC No.2. LO is 2 this month. Was hoping for 2 under 2. But ah well...... We plan but God is the best of planners.

Please join! And hopefully we see some BFPs this month.

A little line progression update from me- thought I would share as this is something I’ve been searching for online to reassure myself ☺️ looking ok so far fingers crossed!
also shout out for Wondfo tests they are so cheap and have been fantastic picking up even a faint line at 10dpo

Not showed up yet
I have minor cramps
Not sure if will come on or it's the bfp month maybe?
Will see how I go and update - if I ain't seen af by Saturday then it's test time

6DPO. Got that funny taste in my mouth I had with previous pregnancies. However I have a cracked tooth that needs removing so suspect that's the source! Gargling salt water until it's removed.

Last night discovered a friend has been battling with stage 4 CRC cancer. She's quite young (27) and has had to freeze her eggs due to damage chemo is doing to her body. Just puts things in perspective and provides clarity over small issues that often feel bigger than they are.

@wanderlustre thank you so much for your reply and information. So fustrating that everything seems to just take so long.

Hopefully I won't need it and I'll get my BFP this month 🤞🏼

I'm driving myself crazy trying to "prepare" for IVF, which has been mainly me clearing my cupboards of white rice and convincing myself my air freshener is killing me 🙃it's took the pressure off trying to conceive unassisted though so I'm not doing a million and one OPKs, just CB ones each morning so I still feel like I know where I'm up to. Just need to wait for my forms and first appointment for IVF really so I can stop stressing myself out.

Well that's me out, periods started this morning 😢 did have a feeling they were coming so not a complete surprise!

I used ovulation tests with my first baby and fell pregnant straight away so naively thought the same might happen again! Wonder why it's different this time round 🤔

Oh well on to the next month!

@wanderlustre bless you, I keep reading things about air fresheners and chemicals in the home causing cancer and infertility and all sorts 🤦🏻‍♀️ even saw someone saying about candles and how bad they are... almost sent me over the edge the thought of not being able to burn my lovely candles!

I really hope everything works out for you and you have a positive journey, I'm sure you'll keep us all updated in here but keeping everything crossed for you and sending lots of baby dust ✨

Possibly 10 dpo today and the food aversions continues.

Went out for a meal with my team at work and had to pretend I did like what I ordered as I couldn't eat it and had to push the plate away due to the smell making me feel sick.

Is 10dpo too early to test?

Can anyone else see the very faint line or am I just going mad?

Maybe I'm not going mad and it explains the food aversions I have been having, which is different to my first pregnancy.

I'm going to get some more tests tomorrow and hopefully will get a stronger line 🤞

I got a positive OPK on weds so DTD Weds, Thurs and will do today to try and make sure we're covered then on to the dreaded TWW

Got my OPK peak today cd15. The highest I've ever had. Let's hope that means it's a super good egg 🤣 really hoping this month is baby month for a lot of us 🤞🏼🤞🏼

7DPO.

Can't say I've experienced definitive symptoms, but the sensations I've had are:

Slight fatigue (but I work)
Cramping at 4DPO
Metallic taste in mouth (5)
Increased vaginal discharge.
Sensitive nipples/breast

Period not due for week (last month was a week early for first time in my life). At least 5 days before a test can be done I think

For the first time in a long time I have no idea when I ovulated! Usually have a peak OPK on CD13 but last month it came on CD12. I'd usually start testing on CD10, which for me was Saturday, but I was away on holiday and didn't bring any sticks with me! Didn't get home and start start testing until evening of CD12 (monday) and it was a fairly strong but not positive line. On CD16 now and lines are only getting lighter so I assume I must have peaked CD11 or early CD12.
Luckily we DTD CD9, 11, 13 and 14 so I think in with a decent chance? Possibly 3DPO today but who knows 😅

I've been using the easy@home lately but decided to buy the clear blue ovulation tests. I keep seeing people mention about a flashing smiley but mine only has the option of no face or smiley face, also it says do not reuse the sticks but other people have mentioned they reuse them if they don't have a smiley face? I just spent €32 so hope they aren't the wrong ones 🙄
