Morning ladies.

AF showed up yesterday 16th Oct Booooo. This is my 9th cycle. Made an apt with GP as I am over 35 and we really tried everything so now need some tests and OH to.
TTC No.2. LO is 2 this month. Was hoping for 2 under 2. But ah well...... We plan but God is the best of planners.

Please join! And hopefully we see some BFPs this month.

It really can! As you can see from this thread I've no patience and started testing very early. If you can at all hold out until min 10DPO

@pontipinemum I don't track BBT so can't be sure but according to flo and premom I ovulated yesterday and we DTD on Wednesday night (and Friday but partner didn't finish...). Guess without knowing for sure if/when I ovulated we could have done it 4 or 5 days before. I did get peak on my OPK and saw it go back down but who really knows!

Yay!!!!! @pontipinemum congratulations!!!! Is it too early for me to get in touch with the midwife team tomorrow? I got my positive on Friday morning. I know they say get in touch as soon as you know...but just don't want to seem too eager! 😂

@KM8 I self-referred when I was only 3 weeks and a few days with my first as I found out so early and was so keen haha! I don't think it's ever too early - go for it and congrats!!

@HRHXO sorry, I meant on OPKs, I never going the temperature thing right. I meant if you had sex 3 days before your peak OPK day you don't ovulate I've read anything from 12-48 hours after that peak.

@KM8 I'm in Ireland, depending on what region you are in here you either go to the GP or self refer. I have to go to the GP. From what I know from British friends (mainly England) they all seemed to self refer. No harm in getting in early you can be waiting weeks for your initial appointment. Although I got pregnant with DS in Oct 2021 so we still have covid lock downs and all the fun!

I'll probably book with the GP soon enough. Going to move over to the pregnancy page but will keep an eye on here too

@pontipinemum I am going to self refer to the midwife team tomorrow morning. Thanks to everyone who said it's not too early, when I had my daughter in 2020 it took a week to get my initial booking appt so going to do it asap just in case I'm waiting.

@pontipinemum we had sex 2 days before peak opk and 3 days before ovulation (I think). Hopefully we still have a chance but I'm not going to get my hopes up!

I think you should be in with a chance so 🤗you hear a lot sperm can live for 5 days but I've read it's closer to 3 on avg. But I think when you are most fertile it lives it's longest because you are creating the best environment for it (EWCM)

TTC this time felt like a little bit of a chore the last night or two. Like once we got going it was grand. But the motivation to start had waned a bit! It can be hard (excuse the pun) with toddler/ work/ life

CD14 this is looking pretty good right? We are doing every other day so tonight’s the night! (Low sperm count)

Been having egg white cm for the past 3 days was heavy with it and it’s lighter today!
I had a chemical last cycle so we are praying we will master it this cycle!
Any advice welcome

Hi everyone can I join! TTC number 2 😊 first month trying, today I got a nearly peak OPM and apps predicting ovulation on the 7th! Sending everyone loads of baby dust 🤞

Update number 300 and something: definitely a faint line on clear blue and FRER, clear blue digital was negative though 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Melissak96 are you uploading those to the premom app? It gives you a LH reading to make sure you've hit your peak but that looks very positive to me!

We BD'd on Wednesday and Thursday and then got my peak on a CB digital last night and on a cheapie strip this morn so will DTD tonight and tomorrow and hopefully we'll be covered 🤞🏼

We BD on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
I got my trigger shot on Friday. My Dr asked us to BD on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We just couldn't do it on Sunday, fell asleep, woke up early in the morning on Monday(today) and asked DH if we can try and he said he's sleepy. 😵
I hope not doing it on Sunday hasn't screwed up our chances too much. I'm so disappointed. :(

Is anyone else suffering with autoimmune disease while TTC? I've heard it can be harder to fall pregnant and increase risk of miscarriage even though my actual condition is fairly well managed. I wasn't ill when I conceived my first so this Is all new to me.

We managed to BD today. DH agreed to try before work. But there is a 30 hour window in the last 5 days where we didn't BD. I hope that's OK. 🥺

@Sleepysheepish we have the same faint lines! Took CBED test yesterday morning that showed the first faint line (thought I was going crazy) and then tested in the evening with CB and FR both ED and got both faint lines. This morning tested again and both faint again. Trying to wait till tomorrow morning for next tests.

I was out today and bought some early response clear blue digital tests and a FRER digital too.

Just finally held my pee long enough to take one and here is the result, still not sure I actually believe it tho 😅

Met my Dr and she said it's fine that we couldn't dtd on Sunday. So we are in the clear. Follicle has ruptured. Endometrium looks good. I'll know on the 24th. 🤞

I believe I’m 5DPO today, AF due Friday (I have been ovulating late/having short luteal phases due to still breastfeeding). Hoping this week goes quickly!
