Morning ladies.

AF showed up yesterday 16th Oct Booooo. This is my 9th cycle. Made an apt with GP as I am over 35 and we really tried everything so now need some tests and OH to.
TTC No.2. LO is 2 this month. Was hoping for 2 under 2. But ah well...... We plan but God is the best of planners.

Please join! And hopefully we see some BFPs this month.

Update: I took a cheap strip test around 4ish and I think I see a shadow of a line on it. So I took another FRER and I think I see a shadow in it too. I’ve been burnt with the indent last month and am twice shy, but I think this line has a tint of pink.
So I’m still not sure but I’ll test again tomorrow and hopefully it’ll become clearer……preferably before I need to buy more tests 🫣

Took a CB early detection this morning and swore I could see a faint line. So when husband got home this afternoon I showed him and he could too compared to yesterdays that had none at all (obviously can’t trust a test that has been sat out for days) so we took another CB early detection and both think we can see a faint line on the new test.

will try CB and FR early section test in the morning.

Have PCOS so ovulation testing is very tricky. Thinking we are about about 10DPO

Jumping on a bit late here. I am on day 27 of what is normally a 24 day cycle. Didn’t test ovulation this month as it’s been chaotic but if going by Flo app is accurate we should have been bang on the money.

Waiting to test as sometimes I’ve had random 30 day cycles 😤

Hi all, can anyone make sense of this?

I have the below results from clear blue 4 day ovulation test, but didn’t get my period in Oct (suspected lean PCOS, no andrologous symptoms, just irregular periods and folicles), likely post-pill pcos). Thought it may be coming as was getting some pains but did another ovulation test as had an idea it could be that, and I got a flashing smiley (high fertility from FMU today). Do you think I’m actually ovulating or is it unreliable?

October - ovulation tracking

10th HF
11th HF
12th HF
13th HF AM, peak fertility PM 15:45

November - ovulation tracking

4th Nov negative OT
5th Nov negative OT
6th Nov HF

This is our first month of TTC, didn’t do it in Oct.

Huge congrats to those with BFPs!

Unfortunately after my peak OPK my partner struggled to finish and then my DS and me both got struck down with a nasty stomach bug so we haven't managed to BD we did it 3 or 4 days before ovulation so I'm thinking I'm out this cycle. It's a shame because I'm overthrinking about when I would be due if I fell pregnant over the next few months because I don't want to be due around DS birthday but also I'm likely to have another preemie so even the months after could result in a similar birthday. I don't know why it matters but somehow it does.

@Nikki2023 faint lines are so confusing! I'm a bit more chilled after reading how low hcg is at this point.

Not sure what to think this morning. The CB early indicator was barely visible this morning with FMU (sort of I'd pee'd middle of the night too)

So then I did an easy at home about an hour later and there's no denying it

9/10 DPO and negative on a CB 😞

I have 2 digital ones they're so expensive I was holding out on using it but I think I might later if I hold my pee and don't drink much!

I said earlier I wouldnt test again until tomorrow so maybe I'll hold out 🤣

I think what confused me this morning is how light the cb looks. It now looks like just an indent. The cheapie looks the same
..

That's still very early. I'm not going well with CB this time.

My period isn't due for another 12/13 days which feels like a drag when intentionally TTC, feels like a drag but got a lot to occupy myself

Currently on cycle day 13 and ovulation testing once a day, hopefully will ovulate in around a week or so 🤞

Does anyone know if a sickness and diarrhea bug can effect chances of falling pregnant? Also likelihood of DTD 3 days prior to ovulation leading to a BFP? I'm probably clutching at straws here bur this feels like a lucky thread!

I've only ever heard of them affecting getting pregnant when someone is sick and on the pill!

3 days before ovulation day should still have you covered. Although was that 3 days before peak meaning possibly 4 to 5 days before ovulation? Still a chance but I think that change gets slimmer
