Morning ladies.

AF showed up yesterday 16th Oct Booooo. This is my 9th cycle. Made an apt with GP as I am over 35 and we really tried everything so now need some tests and OH to.
TTC No.2. LO is 2 this month. Was hoping for 2 under 2. But ah well...... We plan but God is the best of planners.

I'm jumping on with you all.

I'm CD12 and got Mt first static smiley on CBOPK. This is my second cycle 'trying'. With my others, we never actively tried.

My question, what do we do now? Do we DTD or wait until it's a solid smiley? My partner has issues ejaculated due to medication, and it takes him AAAAAGGGGEEESSS sometimes.
We have waited a week or so to do anything as his first few times after waiting, he's manages to ejaculate within a reasonable time and don't want to waste that incase he struggles when we really need it!

Should we hold off for a few more days and keep testing?

Hi @HRHXO 👋 same as you, I mostly dipped out during and just after AF. I believe I’m 2/3DPO so we’re at very similar points again!

Trying not to get my hopes up this month and looking at the positives if I don’t get pregnant - my sister and I have a spa day planned and myself, DH and DD are off for Edinburgh in a few weeks so we can have some festive drinks!

CD15 I believe. Landed in the UK at midnight, very exhausting journey. DC has caught a bug, and seems DP and I have too, though not as bad as DC.

I had EWCM discharge while we were exploring for the last time. My fitbit app also says I'm on peak ovulation day. Asda LH test positive, but fainter than yday, also indicating a peak.

So despite exhaustion, we forced ourselves to DTD once again so there could be as many fresh swimmers available to welcome the egg. DP and I have agreed we probably don't need to even hug for next days few lol.

I think we are now in the 2WW phase. Good luck to others in or approaching the waiting period also.

Hi everyone 🙂 I'm currently in the TWW, trying not to test early, periods due Friday coming so hopefully I can hold out until at least Wednesday 😂

No symptoms really other than typical pms symptoms but I have a feeling that I'm out this month. Keep getting hot flushes which I normally get in the lead up to my period so think it's on its way! Hopefully not though 🤞

Have you had the chance to verify this method with your doctor? Because abstinence of more than 3-5 days renders the sperm useless I think? I'm not sure, but you can check on this info if you wish to..

I have really bad ovulation cramps rn.
I noticed last month I had absolutely no pain, and now I'm thinking it's because I didn't ovulate at all.
The month before, I did and I had terrible pain for 2 weeks straight + period pain after so I hope that doesn't happen this time. :(

@Sleepysheepish I didn't think they did first response any more. I did an early CB one yesterday evening, this came up within about 2 mins. Still looks the same this morning. I ovulated around the 25th Oct so I am 10DPO, 9 DPO when I did that test. I told my app I got a positive test and it changed over to pregnancy mode.

@Nikki2023 that looks very similar to mine, and the same DPO's did you do another test?

I did another cheapy test this morning though and they don't look to be getting any darker. But I just read on the CB website that median Hcg concentration by 9DPO is 4ml, 10DPO is still only 12ml so both barely 'pick up able' by tests even the most sensitive ones.

I swore after DS I would wait until I missed a period before testing, guess that went out the window!!

Ahh congratulations! Seeing positives at 9 and 10 DPO makes me really want to test but I got a BFN at 9 DPO yesterday so trying to hold out as I feel rubbish every time I see one line! I really don’t know what strategy to take

Omg I think I have a faint positive. My husband can see it too on a cheapy. I already threw away the wee so I can’t do a proper one FFS!! Gonna do a FMU sample tomorrow

@KM8 I'm 10DPO but I've had faint positives since Thursday (8dpo) I just wish they were getting stronger. Still super faint.

@Blackberry95 ohhhh how exciting!! Ah it's impossible to know. Do you have a test for tomorrow? I have a few one step and premom ones. 1 CB early detection and 2 cb digitals. Might have gone ott 🤣 I live in a tiny village and didn't want to buy the tests here so went to the big town and made it worth my while.

@pontipinemum just remember some women don't get a strong line or a positive until 14DPO so try not to worry lovely 🥰 at least you're getting a faint line.

Hi all, very first time trying this month. I have suspected PCOS so cycle is a bit of a mess. Praying for a miracle ❤️

I waited till this morning to do a test and no line for me so much have been a evap line. I too was ment to waiting till missed period to test but it’s so hard

@Winterwonderland1 hope it goes well. Even if that's just getting a better understanding of your cycle. I don't have PCOS but 1st time TTC I could go months between periods. It's so annoying. I also had no periods for 14 months after DS was born but I was breastfeeding

AF is due tomorrow and I'm freaking out a little. This TWW has been really hard but I don't know wether I should test tomorrow if AF doesn't arrive or not. Last time I tested the day I missed AF and got the positive result it ended up being ectopic. The whole thing is freaking me out a little I'm really hoping for a BFP but I'm also terrified I might not be excited after last time 😭

@pontipinemum i do I have a few more wondfo, a clear blue digital a normal clear blue, a first response digital and a first response rapid in the cupboard 🤣 I don’t know if any of those are the special like “early” ones tho- dying to see the words on a digital but scared of it being neg haha

Symptoms wise I felt absolutely shattered last night and today and didn’t have a reason to, that’s literally it so far

Well I think I’m out, I did three tests this morning because of last months indent. 2 seperate package FRER and one clear blue early response.
Indent on one of the FRER, no line on the other, and I thought there might be a sniff of a line on the clear blue but it’s the sort where you have to get the light and angle just right and then squint so I suspect it’s nothing. At 10DPO they should have something reasonably obvious I would think. Anyway, I’ll test again tomorrow and probably Tuesday if at doesn’t arrive but I’m not optimistic 😢

That's what I'm waiting to see too. Just makes it so much more real.

@Sleepysheepish well I know I'm the one freaking about lines not getting darker. But when I looked up earlier the median hcg at 10dpo was only 12ml the ultra early tests need 10ml hcg

@pontipinemum I’ve been there, I did that the first go round and I also freaked out about my BBT dipping as well 😅

Yeah I’m wondering if perhaps I’m still in the running or not, last time I had a faint, but obvious, line 11DPO. And it could be I’m not 10DPO today, LH and BBT are within 72 hours usually-so it could be a possibility I’m 8 or 9DPO.

@Sleepysheepish I felt that way last month, when I had nothing by 11DPO I said that was it. Of course your not out until your out. And it does depend on how sensitive the tests you are using are.

@pontipinemum yeah it’s hard on us this TTW! I’ve made sure I have the most sensitive tests 😇

Update: the clear blue 100% has a line now it’s dry, but neither of the FRER do. And I think I read somewhere that the blue dye tests cannot be trusted at all once dry 🤔 So the moral of this story is despite waiting until 10DPO (presumably…) so I wouldn’t be confused I am, once again, confused lol

@Sleepysheepish aw that's so confusing! I think I would def be holding out a good bit of hope with the 1 CB though.
