I've finally booked a semen analysis for my husband and we have a fertility appointment booked too...
I've been doing acupuncture, I started Pilates and yoga... I don't know what to do anymore... I guess I might have to come to terms that it might not happen 🤷🏻‍♀️

You're doing everything you can, and being so proactive. Semen test will be interesting and hopefully give you answers either way❤️

I've been really quiet on here. But been keeping an eye in the background 💚

6DPO and I feel different this cycle with lots of niggles. Hoping my mind isn't playing tricks on me 🙏🏻

So, OH and I were missing this cycle out due to work committees and it being bad timing for a few reasons… I didn’t track ovulation at all and we only dtd once this month since AF… 9dpo and I got this!

I honestly think we all put to much pressure on ourselves with ttc. Sometimes a more relaxed approach helps. I didn't think I would get a positive this month as we only dtd before ovulation, not on the day or even after that. It seemed like we dtd less than previous months in fact.

When was your af due by the way?

AF is due on Monday, another 4 days away. I’m 10dpo now and has my first positive at 8dpo.

I’m worried about this line progression :( in previous pregnancies I used first response, and the lines became noticeably darker every day, what do you all think?

I read somewhere that line progression isn’t really a thing and I think maybe doing a test every few days is a better comparison than doing one every day? I understand the compulsion to do it though x

I had said that April would be my last month to try as I wanted to have a baby before I turn 40 but DF and I need to have a conversation about whether we continue once my periods are back after this MC

I am waiting for PGTA testing of 4 last embryos from 3d ivf.. if none ubnormal we also either need to stop or to decide on donnor eggs.. As I sent 10 now for testing, 6 before all abnormal. Also had 4 chemical pregnancies..

Sorry I mean if none chromosomal normal

@AFeastForCrows So sorry to hear that. It's awful going through that. I had 2 back to back recently.

I also feel the same way about the age thing. I had originally said I want to try until I can have the baby before turning 40 (as risks are higher). If my current pregnancy doesn't make it through than I may try one more month as anything after this means I would have baby after turning 40. To be honest now that I have had 2 chemical pregnancies in a row, I am also wondering if I can have a viable pregnancy. Even now I tested positive 2 days in a row and this AM the test was negative. Will try another test later today as my PM tests have always been stronger than AM ones.

@TT82 I’m sorry you’re faced with that decision - so many of these things are out of our control and it’s a horrible feeling

I completely understand and it's a personal decision, but there are many women who have absolutely perfect pregnancies well into their 40s. It's not like we turn 40 and suddenly we've "expired". I completely understand that you don't feel comfortable with it. I really hope this pregnancy goes well for you ❤️

I had my period and it's now over. Waiting for my fertile window to begin. I've resumed taking my BBT to see what's happening during my cycles.

DH has a semen analysis next week and then we have an appointment with a fertility doctor at a clinic.

No I totally think it's fine..I mean I feel for myself I would probably struggle after 40 as previous pregnancy I had gestational diabetes (which went after I had my son) & pelvic girdle pain (serious back pain). As I get older, I think I'm not as comfortable with the thought of doing this all over again. Plus I had c sections with both my kids so another pregnancy would result in another c section & as I get older, probably I would struggle with the recovery. But everyone is different & everyone has a different state of health. So everyone should do what they feel is best for them.

I did 2 pregnancy tests around 3ish & both are negative. I'm getting worried I am heading for another chemical. I think I will try just one more month after this. This is so disheartening going through this constantly 😔

I might have something to show you 😅 not sure if you can see it. I had basically given up 🙈 I was trying to convince myself to accept it and the next step was selling baby clothes and cloth nappies 😅

I'm still in denial and I know the odds aren't in our favour due to my age (41 and a half), so I'm trying to keep calm.

I'm going to buy some better tests tomorrow and test with FMU.

after my miscarriage in March I fell pregnant straight away with no period in between and I’m roughly 7 weeks now 🌈

I didn’t really have symptoms straight away and was addicted to doing tests because I thought it was all in my head - symptoms have definitely ramped up now though!
