I thought I would be clever and take advanced CB OPK baseline a day later than suggested on their instruction as last time I got many O marks and seemed like waste of tests. Seems thinking with your own inexperienced head is not great idea :D Still O yesterday and today- CD 14. But since I take stripe tests also in the afternoons as I had super rapid rise last month and I don’t want to miss it. I got so dark test-line, that premom gave evaluation 2.1 and high, it was there when urine touched screen and it took more time to create control line.
An hour and half later took also CB one that still gave O. But I get clear ovulation pinches and sensitivity in my left ovary.
Plus my temp is also up today already (last time also peak and temp rise were on same day and the month before also. Seems to be my thing 🤔).
premom app changed my prediction from Ov on Wednesday to O being already yesterday which is total nonsense. Will see with curiosity what tomorrow brings. It will probably not change a thing from outcome perspective as during that time of cycle I am a predator anyway 😂

So this morning I gos barely any test line on stripe test and empty O on CB also.
I know one should not compare those lines, but last evening one was much darker and seems more like hour and half isn’t enough held to give accurate reading. Also Ov pain on the left side is eased to mild random pressure instead of proper Ov movement.

I hope that yesterday morning activity is enough in this case as DH had to leave early today and will return later in the evening.

FF is predicting that my period will start tomorrow, although my cycles can vary by a few days in length. So I'm expecting it by Friday so we will see...! Although I've said before, I won't be particularly disappointed this month with no success as a) I don't really fancy being super sick all over Xmas period with HG as the dates mean it would have well kicked off around then going by my previous pregnancies and b) it would possibly complicate being a bridesmaid for my DSis in September...she has just had her baby too so I'm eager to get mine!! Although I'm not a fan of the newborn stage really tbh.

I'm now on my FW, meaning that my libido is crazy...... 😅about 2 or 3 days ago I was saying "no way I'm going to have s#x this fertile window!!!" as I've been tired and grumpy.... then my hormones kick in and I can't help it lol.... if it will lead to anything at the end of the cycle... who knows.....

Whereabouts is everyone in their cycles?

@WeightoftheWorld having HG must be quite scary... :/ I have really hard 1st trimesters, it brings me down emotionally and physically with horrible vomiting, massive food aversions and a nose as sensitive as a german shepherd, the constant overproduction of saliva, relentless nausea during every minute I'm awake and I don't even have HG... it already sort of scares me to go through that again... Us women are warriors that's what we are!

Totally agree @AnaReis that the idea of going through the first trimester again is terrifying. I’m not sure what I’ve experienced is classed as HG or not but with my second I was practically bedbound. Every movement led to vomiting, I had no energy and I used to honestly cry all day long because I was just SO unbelievably tired. I consider myself lucky that it got loads better by 14-16 weeks as I know some women have it throughout their entire pregnancy and I can’t imagine it.

I’m currently only CD6 so a little off my fertile week starting. Need to order some ovulation strips to start using soon. Hope this is the cycle for everybody! 🤞🏻

I trust myself to be 1DPO and seemed to be ovulating CD 15 so text book 28day cycle.
Makes sense as I now have TSH in place and no hormonal delay from that.

This morning I still did CB which resulted with another empty circle so now I will use my 5dpo BBT drop as a navigation option for being sure.
But I have little doubt as that line was so dark on that stripe and also in harmony with CB rise.
And I am so glad I had it earlier than predicted by premom app as my DH came back feeling bad yesterday. Now he’s just resting 😴. So no action- man 😂

Thankfully our deeds were done in good timing still 9out of 10.

And now truth day will be Christmas Eve 🤞🙏🏻.

My DH tested positive. That is why he was down already on Sunday.
What an unpleasant situation- I have not googled enough to know science about covid and sperm, but I don’t think it’s anything supporting 😂
And I hope my vaccine will keep me safe.

I've had it twice, the first time was hell for 2 weeks, the second time was the same symptoms, but only 10% of the intensity and during only 1 week. No-one else got it in the house, whereas the first time we all got it lol my eldest was the patient zero 😅

Oh no @MrsPepper82 ! Hope your DH is soon better and nobody else catches it! We all had it for the second time a couple of months ago. Like @AnaReis second time for me wasn't as bad as first, I was really sick for a fortnight first time and this time still pretty unwell at its worst but not as bad as first time and only for one week thankfully.

FF predicted period today and not here yet. But as I say, slightly irregular cycles so could be any time over next couple of days really.

Hi everyone! @MrsPepper82 sorry to hear this and hope your dH is recovering, and that you managed to escape!

No updates really from me - I need another dose of immune suppressing meds next week, then have a repeat blood test and if all good I can start trying the next cycle, which I think should start mid Jan (and if I miraculously conceive would be an October baby 👌🏻). I just got a promotion at work so I’m sure mat leave would go down like a lead balloon, but let’s see if I ever get to that point…

Hah I know the feelings about work. My first pregnancy was about two months into my first job after uni and I was off sick for about 3 months with the HG. I was convinced they would just let me go as I was still in probation but they didn't thankfully.

Well my AF came, but tbh I feel relieved! Now I can enjoy my Xmas period and get back to it after, I had deep feelings of anxiety and dread about being sick all over Xmas. That's my longest cycle so far though. My FF regularity meter is only 77 per cent so need to be mindful of not over relying on their predictions.

yeah I know what you mean about Xmas! And something nice about trying in Jan - new year new start etc etc.

Tbh there’s never a good time to have a baby workwise is there?! I timed my first 2 kids when I was 3-5 years qualified on the basis that I’d have built up a good level
of experience and goodwill/reputation, but wouldn’t be so senior that clients would miss me/it would interfere with partnership promotions etc. But of course now I’m 9 years qualified and just got put on a 2 year partner track so it’s terrible timing. But fertility can’t wait.

@AnaReis how are you - FW closed already?
My DH is quite okay, first days were rough but now he’s just getting tired faster.
Found some articles about covid and sperm and there is drop in count and quality but not to zero at least!! It’s going to show on his lab results also as he has not yet provided a sample.
I have been busy with Christmas events all week and so happy, no hints yet of symptoms and tests are negative. Have no clue how late it can still change.

For 2 months I have had bbt drop 5dpo, but today still no drop, but I had one milder the other day so now it’s still harder to predict when my O was. But what else can I do but to wait and see.

The same thing happened to me, although not after uni but after we moved to the UK. Basically, I got a job and a week later found out I was pregnant 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ they also had to extend my probation to 6 months because in the 1st 3 I was on and off work due to constant nausea and daily vomiting 🙄
Getting pregnant so soon meant I didn't have maternity pay, only maternity allowance 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well at your work they might take it badly but I mean it's life... You can't put your personal life on pause... And I bet you'd be over the moon ❤️😊

We DTD only twice this cycle on CD10 and CD11, couldn't do it again after as I was too tired, although I really felt like doing it 😅😅(hormones!!) 🤷🏻‍♀️ I think I ovulated around CD 13 or 14, I'm not sure. Well, we'll see... I'm not getting my hopes up (I'll probably cave in and test after Christmas)!

Next Friday my in-laws are here and then it's Christmas, so I'm looking forward to that. I'm trying to sew a dress for my daughter and a shirt for my son, so I've been keeping busy 😅

I think it’s safe to say that I didn’t catch DH covid, but my RHR and BBT are dropping so I didn’t catch my Christmas gift neither 🙄
@AnaReis deflated is exactly how I feel.
We are running out of vitamins again and nee portion is more than a hundred euros again (I think we have spent more than 1500 already for ttc topics those last 10 months).
Usually I just order new portions but I just see no reason this time. Seems just giving away money 😣
Tbh I know I shouldn’t feel that bad as I only have my TSH in place for a veeery short time and that previous month my CP still made it impossible to implant, so this is the first time ttc#3 with any real hope and one miss doesn’t mean a thing in bigger picture.
So waiting for some new year wishes now.
I wouldn’t have minded feeling off during holidays. But life knows better than me so I’m going to trust it.
haa, and I found a temp missing on my chart, don’t know how I marked it lower that time.

I also wouldn't mind a special Christmas present, but well, we're not in control of that are we?...

@MrsPepper82 even if you had a dip on your BBT it might go back up again. You're only out if AF shows up! I'm going through the same with the supplements... I stopped taking them to be honest... I might go back to taking folate again, but I was in such a low mood last month that I just stopped taking everything 🙄 I'm seriously loosing hope that it'll happen for me... I just think it's my age 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah, it went up and down again but took a test, it’s negative, true blank. Took it not to get my hopes up.
And my DH failed to give a sample.
I will go away from pregnancy topic now. I am sure it’s not age, as my family women have great fertility as are my analysis showing but I am only 50% of that equation and DH has had serious sperm issues before and now he is 12y older and under heavy stress and I am sure Covid left it’s mark.
And I have to switch gears- before September I had great time having my heart open but not seeing it as the only way and I need to go back to that.
Will not monitor measure nor track anything anymore. Well I will have my watch but nothing additional.

No good updates from my side, I hot 2 only blastocysts from second ivf, still thinking if we do 3d and then send all to genetic testing or to send now...statistically no chance. Dr was quite harsh and said to my comment that maybe we need to change protocol - well I cannot change your age 🤦🏻‍♀️ Hormones are also very good, just no quality left. So this cycle need to start BBT again while we are thinking what to fo next.

AF is due around the 27th or 28th of December, most likely will have spotting before AF arrives, so I will know by then. I'll have my in-laws and brother and sister in law over to visit, so I'll probably be busy. My late Christmas present will most likely be AF!...

How old are you? 🤔 Dr's seem to like to call women old after they turn 30 🤦🏻‍♀️

So the blastocysts are having trouble developing? Is it the quality of the eggs that is making the IVF process difficult?
