@Cressie2 i am only 6DPO and already having to stop myself from testing 🤦🏼‍♀️ when are you thinking of trying?

huge TMI but I’ve woken up this morning with a stuffy nose / throat and LOTS of lotion like CM…definitely symptom spotting & probably doesn’t mean anything but just noticed it’s very unusual for me at this point

@H0pefull fingers 🤞 rooting for you that these are positive signs and the sticky bfp is right around the corner !

@EvelynKatie sounds good. I noticed something similar when I started taking a P5P complex for hormone balance (B6, magnesium and zinc). It’s amazing how we see the effects of supplements on our cycles, they change our internal chemistry in so many ways.

News from me… anovulatory bleed has finished so I’m now on the lookout for signs of ovulation. I’ll often wake early for the day feeling ‘wired’ in the follicular phase which has happened the last couple of days, OPKs are still low, but should probably jump on DH at some point 😆 fortunately it’s now the weekend which makes it slightly easier. Fairly nervous about returning the mail order semen analysis on weds because a- the instructions are unbelievably complicated and we are bound to do something wrong and b- because if DH is donating swimmers for that then I can’t have them!

Ah @Supertrooper101 sorry, I knew it was an S name but I couldn’t for the life of me remember which! Yeah let’s see with the dna fragmentation test, cos we won’t have those results for like a month now 🙄

i don’t see why it takes so long tbh but let us see.

@H0pefull I won’t be testing for another 8 days or so as today is ovulation day 😬 Big static smiley today so thinking of DTD today and tomorrow and then onto the dreaded TWW.

@CurlyWurly1991 it’s good news that you’re getting that analysis sent off as hopefully you’ll get more clarity on things soon. How long do the results take for that and how much does it cost?

Hope you and @El1988 end up getting good news about the sperm.

I saw some sperm motility tests yesterday at boots. No clue how does work? Are they actually useful? Think I would struggle to get my husband to concede to testing his sperm.
Discovered this morning he hasn't been taking his vitamins regularly. I only have two pouches of mine left. And he has loads. Grr
He is older than me so in my mind needs it even more.

I also went to get some preseed. I don't always get enough cm down there and thought it might help. Some months I have loads of EWCM and others not. What's up with that?

Well… I caved with the testing this morning on 9/10 DPO and of course it was a BFN 😔

as I said, we missed the ideal dates to conceive because of this virus, and also I think my body was under stress because of the virus things aren’t looking good this month, but I couldn’t help myself…

with the only time I got pregnant, and it didn’t work out, I only tested positive on 12 DPO so I don’t know, I’ll try to hold out until Monday/Tuesday when AF is due anyways…

@El1988 I am sorry. It's always horrible to see a BFN. But there is always hope until AF arrives

@FigandHoney how long have you guys been trying now? My husband was actually very chill about getting his sperm checked, and honestly I think men need to realise this shouldn’t be all on the female partner. I feel if you guys have been trying a while and you’ve had all the checks and everything looks ok, then he shouldn’t have an issue with getting a sperm check?

it’s a lot easier than all the checks on women, just DTD into a cup? And a lot of reasons that a spermiogram might not be optimal can be easily fixed with small tweaks like supplements or lifestyle, so why not find out? rather than letting you guys continue trying without all the information and then realising in 6 months that there was an issue with the sperm all along!

also for the supplements (which are getting out of hand at this stage in our house 🙈🙈🙈) I just put all the tablets for my husband into a little dish (that we used to use for dips lol) in the morning and then he just knows he has to take that. He’s not at religious about it as me; but he’s generally good. I don’t know if that would help?

@El1988 You’ve still got a few days to test but I feel for you, the wait after 10DPO is brutal. Hoping for a BFP for you 🤞🏻

@FigandHoney my DH was the same with his vitamins “they are too big to swallow”- and he expects me to PUSH OUT A BABY.

I digress.

@Cressie2 thank you! Also LOL! Yeah I know right, they’re like “you’re asking so much of me” and it’s like mhmmmm so… 9-10 months of carrying a child and then pushing it out and then feeding it with my boobs if one is so inclined/is able to for like 6 months to a year but OK SORRY, I am asking so much of you 🙈 rant over 🙈

@El1988 We have only had two cycle this time trying for n2. But it took us a year and a half for our first. So obviously we aren't tge best example of fertility

I did literally put our vitamins in an kbvious location. So it's not that.
It's deliberate.
Like other husband's the pills are too big to swallow. So I specifically got a powder one. But he doesn't like the taste of it. Need to look for hummies. Because he is a child

Currently day 26 of my cycle and wondering if I should keeping holding out or do an early test... last few cycles I ovulated quite late (and my most recent pregnancy I didn't get a positive test until 3 days after my missed period), but this time I ovulated on day 14, I think, so that would be right in the middle of my usual cycle. The temptation is so strong but also it's quite nice being able to hope and if I get a negative, that's gone...

@El1988 i got a BFN at 12DPO so 10DPO is nothing! Definitely nowhere near out yet!

@FigandHoney male sperm testing is definitely one of the easiest tests and best to get done early. Wishing everyone a good weekend and plenty of baby dust. I feel like we're nearing capacity for this thread, please do add me to the next one.

@FigandHoney agreed! Reluctant DH here too. I did have a go about it the other day to be fair - ffs everything I’m doing to try and make conception happen and all I’m asking is him to drink (a bit) less and wank into a cup. Jeez.

We are hoping my ovulation will be NEXT weekend - few days after ct scan - - so we can hopefully try our luck after ct scan

@El1988 I got a stark white BFN at 10dpo, 11dpo, 12dpo and 13dpo. I think, but I'm not sure that I'm around 14dpo today and got a very faint positive on a frer this morning.

I don't test for ovulation so it is a bit of a guessing game based on when I feel like I ovulated, so not very scientific.

@happytobemrsg I'm a few pages late but just caught up with all the messages. Congratulations!!!! What a beautiful line. Wishing you a sticky bean and an uneventful pregnancy.

I don't think I will @happytobemrsg, I will probably go again in 72 hours and hope the line is stronger. I got a box of 2 frer so don't want to do the second too soon.
