Oh. Just a suggestion. But me and the girls who got our BFP at similar times last time I was pregnant, created a private Facebook group. It was lovely to support each other through pregnancy and early motherhood

Ah I'm still in a group from when DS was born in Jan 2021! Agree it is lovely... However I was in one earlier in the year for the MMC and it was quite tough having to leave the group etc so I think I might wait until a bit later in the pregnancy to join anything like that this time 👍🏻

Thanks everyone for the congrats! Still sinking in!

FigandHoney · 11/10/2023 15:39

@SnookyPook ah yes. That must have been tough. I am sorry. Just hang out with us like @VixFromThe6ix until you feel a bit surer

So I feel like I have been having some light cramping since yesterday evening. I put it down to the gas yesterday. But no gas today. I am not sure if its all in my head. And also doesn't necessarily mean anything as I did have quite a bit of cramping last cycle.
But because I am 8dpo it is raising my hopes a bit. Darn it.
Anyone else sometimes feel like they are making things up in their head?

Cressie2 · 11/10/2023 15:58

@SnookyPook I am SO SO happy for you! I don’t even know you but have been following all of your journeys over the past few months and really behind you all. This is just the best news! I’m sure it will all work out but understand your caution. For now though, get excited and happy 💕💕

RoseH36 · 11/10/2023 20:04

Been off again for a while so trying to catch up.

@SnookyPook that's amazing! Keeping everything crossed for you. With my son I still had cramps but recall them feeling a bit different to my usual ones, that was my only sign.

@CurlyWurly1991 I think I may request my medical notes as the NHS app tells me nothing, pointless having it at the moment, it has my immunisation history on it and that's all.

MrsBP15 · 11/10/2023 20:09

Congratulations @SnookyPook so happy for you 🥹 fingers crossed everything goes smoothly for you here on in xx

happytobemrsg · 11/10/2023 20:47

Such lovely news @SnookyPook !!

@FigandHoney I’m symptom spotting like crazy too. 7DPO today. Lots of cramps yesterday but on one side (I read that implantation cramps should be in the middle?) & no symptoms today. When do you plan to test?

worldwidetravel2017 · 11/10/2023 21:27

Are you guys taking extra vit D through uk winter ?
Im going to.

Supertrooper101 · 11/10/2023 21:27

@RoseH36 does your gp have their own website? Myne, i had to go in with ID, fill out a form and then get a log in. Its seperate to nhs, i dont have anything online with them, but my gp, i can see all bloods, notes, appoinments, the lot 🙂
@SnookyPook really happy for.you xx

Supertrooper101 · 11/10/2023 21:33

@worldwidetravel2017 I am currently taking Proceive Plus which I believe includes vitamin d. Not sure what my levels are.

@happytobemrsg Honestly I am going to try really really hard not to test before AF is due. Which according to FF is this Sunday and according to Ava Fertility Saturday. How about you?

FigandHoney · 11/10/2023 21:52

@Supertrooper101 After what everyone said I checked on my NHS App. But there is nothing on there. Neither my previous bloodworm. Nor my more recent ultrasound results

RoseH36 · 11/10/2023 21:55

@Supertrooper101 I'm on a website called Patient Access from my surgery but it only had the same info on as the NHS app. I'll have to call them and find out how to get more details on it. A friend of mine changed to the same surgery as me from elsewhere and has much more access. We both had gestational diabetes and she can see her annual results on that but I have to call them to get mine.

Firsttime0727 · 11/10/2023 22:02

Hi hope you don’t mind me joining in. I’m 37 and ttc with my first.
Seeing some positive stories today of some bfp results has made me feel a little less anxious about my age 😊
I had my first late AF this month, 4 days in total but it came on this evening.
I haven’t actively been “trying” though so I’m trying not to get too disheartened!
I’ve just ordered some ovulation sticks and bbt thermometer…..
looking forward to hearing some more from you all 💕

MrsBP15 · 11/10/2023 22:06

Ok so I’ve just checked my bit d levels on my results and they are 54 nmol/L which they’ve put as ‘Normal-no action’ is that lower than it needs to be though for TTC? I was taking by d but now just on Proceive tablets.

happytobemrsg · 11/10/2023 22:08

@FigandHoney I was hoping to do the same - test if AF is late but I get caught up in it all! I have 26/27 day cycles so AF is due Wednesday/Thursday next week. Feels absolutely ages away still.

Supertrooper101 · 11/10/2023 22:18

@FigandHoney @RoseH36 tried the nhs once and didnt show anything. Only went on to opt out of my data being shared. My gps is called system access or patiant access too. It has bloods dating back years, a years worth of every apoimtment notes, i can book appointments and any referrals made to the hospital, when they get sent back to the dr, i can see them too. I had a set a bloods taken monday and i could view them all yesterday. I would ring them up. I was given a password and username after showing id etc...

Is better

I get the tommys baby charity emails regularly - todays had a vit D bit in

Equally the it starts with an egg book advises taking lotsa vit d .. some people take 3000 / 4000

worldwidetravel2017 · 11/10/2023 22:22

As my body has some absorption issues at different points in past - im awaiting folate result
It hasnt been checked in last few months

Cressie2 · 11/10/2023 22:30

@worldwidetravel2017 i take Pregnacare max which contains all sorts but no idea what any of my levels are!

Out of interest, how often are all all DTD around ovulation and for those who conceived, how often did you DTD then? AF about to finish and want to know the best plan moving forward for this month.

worldwidetravel2017 · 11/10/2023 22:36

When we concieved - it was 4 times in lead up to ovulation

Bumblebee413 · 11/10/2023 22:43

CP last cycle - we pretty much did a version of SMEP... Fertile week we dtd 4 times ovulation day (O), peak opk (O-1), and also O-3, O-5, O-7 (hope my code makes sense haha). Also remember being worried/annoyed we hadn't done O+1 and O+3 !!

This cycle, we only managed twice - peak opk and ovulation day.

Previous cycles I haven't conceived we've normally managed 3-4 in immediate run-up. Any one of those I could have conceived but didn't. There really doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason. I think as long as you manage a couple on key days each month then you're in with a chance 👍🏻 Good luck!
