@H0pefull hope you're ok and being kind on yourself. Nothing wrong with being a hermit at all, you have to do whatever feels right for you at this time.

Got a scan booked for the end of the month before my follow up appointment, glad I chased it with the hospital as it was requested 1st August. They'll have my bloods back by then too to see if there is an underlying issue or not.

MrsBP15 · 06/10/2023 18:43

Congratulations @VixFromThe6ix i really hope this works out for you and everything is super sticky!!♥️

@H0pefull sending you love and hope you feel much better soon ♥️♥️

I’m 1DPO (I think) and have been having pangs in my crotch for last hour…bloody weird! My doctor surgery sent me results of my blood tests, does anyone know if there’s somewhere on the old internet that will help me decipher them??

James blunts latest song
About baby loss / miscarriage

We cried this evening

Hits you in the feels

@MrsBP15@SnookyPook@H0pefull@Angelsrose@happytobemrsg@Pineappleapple thanks so much for the support. ❤️
Still haven't been able to speak with the fertility doctor to see what I should do about the IVF funding. I feel like I should defer as I'm not sure if I'm able to accept and then cancel or if I'll even be able to (do they check my records? Not sure)
Second blood test came in today and looks like I'm still in the running. The nurse mentioned an early ultrasound sometime end of October. Probably going to feel like the longest few weeks of my life.
I felt nothing today. No tiredness, no cramping, nothing. It got me worried but I had to remind myself that I'm so damn early and I really shouldn't even be feeling much to begin with. But I see how this is already getting to my head and I'm over analyzing everything.
Hope it's ok I lurk around here a bit longer.

Also, anyone heard anything from @Eirlys1986? I don't know why but she popped into my head today and I hope she's doing alright.

Whoa.... cried just now too. What a song. To be able to put something so painful into such beautiful words is the true talent.

It's also got me thinking how both my MCs were before we found out the sex. I honestly can't imagine how it feels to have a loss after knowing that. And if any of you been at that stage, I'm so sorry and I'm so in awe of your strength.

@VixFromThe6ix absolutely please stay with us as long as you want to! Wouldn't be the same here without you!

I have had a couple of MSG's with her and I know she was backing off the main chats a bit for a bit of headspace. I think she's doing ok but I will check in again - thanks for the reminder. On that note, has anyone heard from LeopardLover lately or was she from a different thread? I lose track!

Not heard that song yet but will deffo hunt it out... not sure if my emotions can take it this evening though!

VixFromThe6ix · 06/10/2023 22:36

@SnookyPook Leopard lover was definitely part of this thread!! But I think she also kind of took time off. I hope I tagged her when I started this one. 🤔

And yeah you have to be in a stable mindset to listen to that song. I already cried today so I figured what's one more cry.

I too miss @Eirlys1986 and hope she's doing well. I think she mentioned last month that she was taking a little break from the group as we all do from time to time.

Eirlys1986 · 07/10/2023 08:12

Hi @VixFromThe6ix and @Angelsrose , I’m still here, just having a big (very confusing) break at present! I really hope you are all doing ok and am still thinking of you all xxx

Angelsrose · 07/10/2023 08:25

@Eirlys1986 so good to hear from you! Wishing you the very best ❤️

CurlyWurly1991 · 07/10/2023 09:38

@MrsBP15 Are these NHS blood tests you have had? I’ve just done day 2 tests and having day 21 later this cycle. I found the reference ranges on the results fairly unhelpful (as Day 2 is within follicular phase but that is very broad).

This guide from it starts with the egg book was helpful to me. You can have it emailed to you by following the link below. I can see I’m outside of the optimal ranges on a few of these so more helpful than the ‘normal - no further action’ I’m getting on the NHS results. Appreciate it means no PCOS or other pathology identified though.

@CurlyWurly1991 thank you for the guide for the blood results, I found it very helpful actually! My results were all fine except for my vitamin d which is pretty low, which is weird cos summer is just gone and I get outside for an hour every day walking minimum and I was supplementing relatively high doses of vitamin d as well… my vit D is 25, and apparently it should be minimum 30 and actually closer to 50 to be optimal for pregnancy… sigh.

Ideally vit d = over 75 -
100 = optimal

( as per the it starts with an egg book )

Got mine from 33 to 77 over 4 months a bit ago

Aiming for more towards 100 now

El1988 · 07/10/2023 15:23

Ok I’ve caved and bought the kindle version of it starts with the egg 🙈

I’d say I’ll never touch a receipt or a piece of plastic again 😂😂😂

El1988 · 07/10/2023 15:40

If anyone wants specific wisdom out of the book, let me know and I can pop a few pages up on the forum! ❤️

Supertrooper101 · 07/10/2023 15:53

@CurlyWurly1991 are those US ranges tho? I know they measire blood in different units or sumat...iv got my day 21 on monday, but didnt ovulate intil day 18 which is late for me so not sure how thats going to pan out lol gona turn up anyway. I did ask for a day 2 and she was like nope, dont do them. Got one on ovulation day last mth instead. That gp makes no sense sometimes lol gona do them on hertility soon though as want to check my dhea&testosteron so i can start dhea supps. My acupuncture wants me to do her cycle herbs too lol ill try one at a time 🤷‍♀️

Supertrooper101 · 07/10/2023 15:58

Hurrrmmm,my vitamin d was 116 lol

Hurrrmmm,my vitamin d was 116 lol

Thats ace

CurlyWurly1991 · 07/10/2023 18:40

@Supertrooper101 yes some of them are different units so I searched for a conversion online. Day 2/3 is really important because it’s a baseline and the only way to look at FSH/LH. Not all gps are clued up, I had the same tests last year and they ran the day 2 tests on day 22… results are therefore pointless.
for your day 21 tests you can get them done 7 days after ovulation… that is what they need to measure. So don’t worry that they are called day 21, if you know when you ovulated that’s when to do them.

CurlyWurly1991 · 07/10/2023 18:42

@El1988 thats good to know though, vit D is easy and cheap to supplement!
wrt the receipt thing, as far as I know that is not relevant for U.K. as we have banned the substance in receipts that makes them problematic in the US… someone correct me? May have made that up.

El1988 · 07/10/2023 19:38

@CurlyWurly1991 that’s true, it’s an easy one to supplement - let’s hope my new stronger dose supplements do the job!

Cressie2 · 07/10/2023 20:06

So, I got a BFP on an easy@home test this morning and danced around the kitchen with my husband.

Then AF came in full force tonight so it was clearly a false positive (another brand has tested negative too so I am definitely not pregnant). Really upsetting but sitting here with a huge glass of wine and going out for a coffee tomorrow before the next month of trying begins.

It just goes to show that having sex for the 5 days before ovulation, the day off and the day after, did not work. Going to try every second day this month around and see how we get on.

@worldwidetravel2017 that song! It had weeping in the car!
