Anyone else 1dpo? Keep me company!

Hello! I'm 36 and TTC no. 2. This is cycle 6 but I only weaned from breastfeeding a couple of weeks ago so feeling cautiously optimistic as I think it was wreaking havoc with my hormones. Know it may well take a few months for hormones to regulate but remain hopeful!

Premom has me down as 1dpo. Anyone want to keep me company during what I suspect will be a painfully slow two weeks?! DTD 6 times in the last 8 days so i don't think I could've given it anymore if I'd tried - especially with a 2yo to look after! 😴

Got my results back today from the 21 day progesterone test, my levels are low so I need to start on letrozole next cycle! I'd say that means I'm out this cycle. 8dpo and noticed a bit of spotting earlier 😩

@Daniki I’m sorry, that must be disappointing. Although it’s good that there’s a reason and it’s something that can potentially be easily/quickly treated.

@secondtimelucky87 @Monkeymonkeymoo it's a bit bittersweet but at least something that can be rectified! It would almost feel worse for everything to be 💯 and no reason why it wasn't happening!

My resting heart rate still hasn't gone down 👀 I would have thought it could have climbed down by now, even after a very stressful Sunday! Currently sitting about 7bpm higher than my usual rate. Jumped up at 4dpo and hasn't come down 🤔 My previous cycle is at the beginning of the graph. Could easily mean nothing but it's interesting to note!

Super interesting! What do you use to track this lovely? I don't have a smartwatch but maybe there's an app? Curious too now haha!

@secondtimelucky87 I wear a Fitbit pretty much all the time haha. I think you can get the heart rate reading ones quite cheaply nowadays, especially on eBay/facebay I imagine!

Ah ok makes sense! It used to be in-built on Samsung phones a few years ago I remember. I've seen there are a few apps but imagine they're probably not very reliable!

@secondtimelucky87 Yeah, I think my Fitbit measures heart rate overnight so not sure about apps!

As predicted, got a nice drop in BBT today, and a BFN. Not expecting anything now this month, but at least I'm predictably dropping at 10dpo. Had a nice vivid dream last night I was pregnant too 👍

Morning! Ahhh you never know! Yeah I've had a bit of a dip to 36.60 at 10dpo too so probably out also but we'll see. And yes at least they're reassuringly normal charts which can only be a good thing. Did feel absolutely freezing at night which made me wonder!

The BFNs are so dispiriting, I got one this morning (annoyingly it has a slight evap line so I can’t even go back and remind myself it’s negative because it looks like something- it came up way after the 3 minutes and is super faint so it’s definitely not anything).
Fingers tightly crossed for you guys, hopefully the temperature is just natural variability and not a downturn.

I tested too and BFN. 10dpo only though and first time around I didn't even bother checking until I was several days late as id been TTC for so long. But I'm not too hopeful tbh.

This is giving me a little hope (if you ovulated on the 19th like me). Trying to be chill because I think BBT is on its way down. I think I'll test next on Sunday if it hasn't fallen by then. Maybe my body hasn't reacted to the HCG yet 😂

We really are cycle twins, huh? 🤣 Yep 19th according to Premom and confirmed by BBT so it ain't over until AF shoes up I guess! Everything crossed for both of us. 🤞🤞🤞

If period does turn up, I'll be contacting GP to book bloods and SA for hubby just to check everything good there as this is cycle 6 of properly TTC since PP cycles returned. I'm also trying to remember I only stopped breastfeeding a few weeks ago and it may take a few months for hormones to readjust.

Honestly, I'm just really tired and CBA with all the regimented BD again 🤣

@secondtimelucky87 I suggested SMEP to my DH for next cycle and his face when I explained what it entails was one of sheer exhaustion 😂 Think the answer was no... He's very much the "it'll happen when it happens" sort. Wish some of his chill would rub off on me!
Good idea to seek GP help if this isn't your month. All fingers crossed until then though 🤞🤞🤞

Yeah I can see where they're coming from really with the added pressure of having to...err...perform! We'd done 5 times in 8 days when I suggested I think we needed one final push after peak and he looked crestfallen. 🤣 Absolutely no offence was taken though as tbh I felt exactly the same! No idea how anyone manages every other day throughout cycle.

Yeah, the scheduled sex wasn’t ideal (especially with other kids who don’t really understand that we need a few minutes alone without them shouting for us, fighting or banging on the door). I also made the mistake of wanting to do it morning and evening during my fertile window ‘just in case’.
On the last day I informed DH that there was still a bit of fertile cervical mucus and so it was worth a final shot. He declined and carried on eating his breakfast 😂

Although I have just done a test (toddler woke up at 3am, I figured I might as well do it while I was up) and I think I might see the faintest hint of something.
What do you think (feel free to tell me that I’m losing my mind and there’s nothing there- I’d prefer not to get my hopes up if I’m just seeing phantom lines!)

I don't think there's any coming back from this drop in BBT this morning 😂 Onto the next cycle, I think. Learned some things this month so not a total loss.

I haven’t even told DH yet, I’m not sure he’ll see anything and the digital was negative. 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽 for a clearer positive later.

@Monkeymonkeymoo Everything I've read says digitals take a lot longer to come up positive! So I wouldn't worry about that ☺️

I'm so sorry lovely. Fingers crossed for the next cycle. I imagine I'll be right there with you as my temps have really evened out. Period is due tomorrow so I think I'll get a big dip then.
