Anyone else 1dpo? Keep me company!

Hello! I'm 36 and TTC no. 2. This is cycle 6 but I only weaned from breastfeeding a couple of weeks ago so feeling cautiously optimistic as I think it was wreaking havoc with my hormones. Know it may well take a few months for hormones to regulate but remain hopeful!

Premom has me down as 1dpo. Anyone want to keep me company during what I suspect will be a painfully slow two weeks?! DTD 6 times in the last 8 days so i don't think I could've given it anymore if I'd tried - especially with a 2yo to look after! 😴

@Daniki So far so good, thank you ❤️ I got a dye stealer test on Tuesday so it's progressing well! Unfortunately I seem to have morning sickness this time round which is less fun, especially when I'm trying not to be sick in front of students 😂 How's this cycle looking for you?

@etaketak1991 delighted on the dye stealer! Not so much the morning sickness 😂 I'm CD 6 of new cycle, decided I'm going to take progesterone this cycle after ovulation and see if that helps seeing as mine is low and my doc won't supplement me with it 😖

@Daniki Aw that's rubbish that they won't do that! I'm glad you ouve managed to get hold of some yourself, fingers crossed it helps 🤞

@etaketak1991 hey! Getting in ok, still not pregnant 😂 just waiting on AF to arrive had some spotting yest. We had an app with another specialist so he has prescribed me tamxofin instead of the letrozole and will do the follicle monitoring and trigger shot. Going to leave it this cycle and do the following one as I work in a school and the following cycle is Easter break! I only start this job so didn't want to take 3 days off in a row (we live 2.5 hrs from the clinic)
How are you getting on!?

@Daniki I'm really sorry to hear you haven't been successful yet, but yay for extra monitoring / tests! Crossing my fingers that they can find something that works for you 🤞
I'm well, thanks! I'm coming up to 16 weeks tomorrow and I've started to feel baby kicking which is lovely ☺️ Fairly smooth sailing so far, thankfully.

@etaketak1991 oh that's great! 🥳 Will you find out the gender? 🤩 yea we'll see how we get on sure. Haven't had any spotting since the other but I'm fighting the urge to go and buy pregnancy tests and just wait for AF to come 😂 hopefully the monitoring works, the thoughts of having to start IVF 😪 building a new house atm, no way we could afford it! Xx

You're building a new house? Gosh that's quite the job! I can understand not wanting to try IVF while that's going on. I hope they're able to pick up something useful in the monitoring ☺️ Fingers crossed for this cycle, just in case 🤞

@etaketak1991 yep it's all go! Hopefully be in by the summer, we're renting and paying the mortgage so it's very stressful 😂 got my AMH results today from my bloods the other week and they're higher than when I was tested last year so that's relaxed me a little! Oh fab that will be in no time 🙌 defo keep us updated 🥰 xx

Just an update to say my little girl, Helena, was born on the 27th of July and is an absolute dream. I still think of you both, hope you're doing well and making progress in your journeys ❤️

@etaketak1991 aw massive congratulations to you! What a gorge name 🥰 hope you're both doing well ❤️ so we went ahead with IVF, had my egg collection last Friday and will be doing a frozen transfer in the next few weeks, all going well! Will hear in the morning if any of my embryos made it, be like Christmas morning hopefully 😂
