Hi everyone.
Currently 3DPO. TTC baby #1. This will be our 11th month trying. Had a miscarriage at 6 weeks in April.
Hope it's ok to join!

Roseberry22 · 02/10/2023 09:17

AF arrived this morning so I’ll be TTC cycle #4 this month

Hoping this is our lucky month. Going to try and enjoy this month rather, I’m not sure whether to stop BBT and just use OPKs as I’m not sure whether I’m putting too much pressure on myself.

TTCnewbies · 02/10/2023 09:55

@DoloresOnTheDottedLine no symptoms really, a few cramps most days but if I'm being honest, today I've woken up and feeling more and more like AF will arrive. But I'm not due for another 10 days. So who knows..

pontipinemum · 02/10/2023 11:25

@DoloresOnTheDottedLine ""Tonight I feel really tired and REALLY snappy and irritable which IS a symptom """ is it? I was quite snappy yesterday with DH when we went to do a bit of shopping (not eating the head off him but out of character). Then at ILs in the afternoon I nearly fell asleep on their couch.

6DPO here, I have the really cheap Amazon tests so did one for the heck of it this morning. No shock BFN. I am still going to do OPKs until AF arrives I want to clock a whole month since it's my first cycle since having DS

ReginaPhalange12 · 02/10/2023 11:26

I'm moving across from the Sept thread, 4th cycle TTC #2 & according to my apps I'm due to ovulate tomorrow but I'm still getting a circle on CB ovulation tests 🤷🏽‍♀️ I have short ish LP so later ovulation worries me.

Good luck to all of those in the TWW ✨

pontipinemum · 02/10/2023 11:26

@WishingUponARainbow hello, 6DPO here so hoping to test in a few days! I'm so sorry to hear about your MC 😥I had 2 MCs before having DS and I MC'd his twin. It's so shitty

WishingUponARainbow · 02/10/2023 12:39

@pontipinemum hey, good luck! Hope you get your BFP 😌 thank you, so sorry about your losses too.
It's really hard when everyone around you seems to be announcing their pregnancies lol.

I feel really good about this month, lots of EWCM, a strong peak and lots of BD! Normally have to keep reminding the other half it's fertile week but this time he needed no reminding! Feeling far less pressurised this month so hoping that will lead to good things... ✨

ceruleansky · 02/10/2023 12:57

@ReginaPhalange12
Hello! Unfortunately we meet on the ttc thread again. Hope this is our month!!

pontipinemum · 02/10/2023 15:31

@WishingUponARainbow what does BD mean? I'm guessing it's sex but what's it stand for?

Jazzberryjam23 · 02/10/2023 15:52

Hi all,
I have also started TTCing this month. I have a DD, who it took 18 months to conceive. So I thought, as we want number 2, we had better just get on it as we didn't have the easiest journey first time round. I was all for trying to be chilled about it this time but here I am 😂 I am a POAS addict and at 10DPO have already done a test which was negative (with a horrible evap!). Pretty sure I am out this month as I had a positive test with DD at 10DPO but will wait for AF to arrive later this week.
Is anyone else due to test in the next few days? Hope to hear of some BFP's soon!

TTCnewbies · 02/10/2023 16:04

I'm now worried that I got my ovulation date wrong? Everyone who's similar DPO to me seems to be due AF this week whereas mine is due next week on Weds/ Thurs.
I know everyone is different but my signs for ovulation came on CD13/14. Of a roughly 29/30 day cycle usually. Does this sound right?

MrsHousePlant · 02/10/2023 18:22

@TTCnewbies it all depends on your cycle length so you’re probably right!! I’m 7DPO but have a short luteal phase and only 25 day cycles so AF is due for me on sat/Sunday. For others who have a longer luteal phase they’ll have longer to wait!

HRHXO · 02/10/2023 18:35

Hi all starting TTC for baby no2 thus month. My Flo app says I should ovulate tomorrow and I had a a decent looking OPK this morning (cheapy). I had DS last year after 10 months TTC last time but my cycles were all over the place from coming off the pill and now I think my cycles may have returned to normal finally! Last time I tracked ovulation but never really got dark lines so didn't even think I was ovulating so the test this morning is a good start! Can't wait to see some BFPs this month!

HRHXO · 02/10/2023 18:54

@ReginaPhalange12 my apps say I should ovulate tomorrow too, looks like we might be cycle buddies 😆

DoloresOnTheDottedLine · 02/10/2023 19:28

@ceruleansky i’ve got no experience with that drug but I’ve read about it on this forum and it seems to work for plenty! Really good that they found the right Clomid dose for you and your doc sounds very switched on. Now you know the right dose, seems a shame not to do as many cycles as possible! Do you have PCOS? I do and have also been prescribed Metformin (which I’ve stopped taking because it made me feel awful) and a supplement called Inofolic Alpha which is supposed to be good.

@TTCnewbies i’m not really sure when AF is due for me as my periods are so irregular so don’t worry - I’m sure your dates are right. You know your body. I’ve spent today thinking I’m definitely NOT pregnant after my silly test taking this morning and now I’m lying down imagining cramps and wondering if I am after all…. I’m driving myself nuts.

@pontipinemum irritability is definitely a symptom! Something to do with hormones (isn’t it always). Fingers crossed it’s - symptom for you and you don’t just have an annoying husband like me!

DoloresOnTheDottedLine · 02/10/2023 19:30

Ladies you may already know about this but if anyone wants to feel like they’re doing something without actually doing something then I recommend this site- the calculators in particular are brilliant. One of them shows the accuracy of pregnancy tests taken on every DPO and another one gives you the most likely
days for implantation based on when you ovulated. Hours of fun!

ReginaPhalange12 · 02/10/2023 19:35

@ceruleansky sorry to see you're over here but fingers crossed this is our month!

@HRHXO I'm not entirely sure what's hapoening, easy@home tests are creeping up but still a blank circle on CB so I may or may not be your cycle buddy 😂 good luck to you though

ReginaPhalange12 · 02/10/2023 20:29

I've just done another CB digital and I've got a static smiley 🤦🏽‍♀️ I've gone from a circle to static in 12 hours, thought I'd be BD too early with just a circle but if we do it for the next 3 nights will that be enough?

WishingUponARainbow · 02/10/2023 21:23

@pontipinemum yes you're right it means sex but it stands for 'baby dancing' 🥲

MrsHousePlant · 02/10/2023 21:45

@ReginaPhalange12 Yes! You’ll ovulate after the static so BDing on the day of and the day after should be fine! 😊

hicketypickety · 02/10/2023 22:34

CD12 for me today and debating whether or not to use the CB digital ovulation tests - I started spotting yesterday which is unusual for me mid cycle (32-35 day cycles). Was quite poorly last weekend towards the tail end of AF (with the spotting this weekend am actually wondering if I had covid during AF seeing as it seemed to be rife). AF was unusually heavy as well. Only managed to BD once so far this cycle.

bumptobean · 03/10/2023 00:43

Does anyone BD the day before ovulation, the day of ovulation and the day after ovulation?

We are trying every other day but when ovulation comes I start feeling like maybe we should do it every day! 🤣

ceruleansky · 03/10/2023 02:24

@DoloresOnTheDottedLine
It looks like we are on the exact same treatment. Yes I've had PCOS since I was 13. Always irregular but I was not always overweight. I stayed with my grandparents when I was 9 so I was overweight then, maybe that affected my entire period for life? IDK.. I'm definitely within the normal weight range now, but still trying to lose weight. She said it will help.
My blood work shows that all my hormone levels are completely normal no signs of PCOS. My doctor was confused, she said these levels should be double with PCOS. But she could see the small cysts in my ovaries when she scanned me.
I was prescribed to take metformin thrice a day. She started the dose with 1 pill a day and would increase by 1 after every 7 days so now I take 3 a day. I had awful symptoms too but now my body is used to it. It definitely suppresses your appetite and lowers insulin resistance.

TTCnewbies · 03/10/2023 09:22

Hmm does anyone know if dryness down there is a sign of anything?
We DTD (out of fertile window) and it was really dry. I never normally have that problem. I'm sure it's not related but I guess you start looking at everything.

pontipinemum · 03/10/2023 09:53

@bumptobean we did! I think DH was just taking every opportunity he got.

@DoloresOnTheDottedLine thanks that's very interesting. It's telling me not to test until next Wed so 15DPO no way will I wait that long. I did one today. Which I knew was pointless
