Couldn’t find a thread so thought to create one and see who else will join the community!

Preparing to start TTC early October based on my cycle.

TTC: baby no.2
Age : 29
average cycle is 28 days for me 😊

I'm on clomid cycle 3 and CD 2. DH is diabetic so there is a small motility issue. This will be my last clomid cycle so hoping this is our month!! Good luck to you all! 💜

Hey ladies, I am back kinda. After the chemical it took me a couple weeks to get back to normal. Had the worst period ever. Then me and LO got the flu so bad. And then 24hrs later my fertile week started EWCM and then 24hrs later (today) I just got peak on OPK with spotting. We only managed to BD last night and the night before and I had a fever 2 nights ago do not hopeful.

Every single month my fertile week something comes up. No exception this month. That is 8 cycles that have been hectic.

Hopeful but being realistic. Being sick with flu and fever may have messed things up.

Hope all are getting on okay!
My app said ovulation on Thursday but my EWCM was on Sunday so we ended up DTD Friday - Tuesday and then left it so we will see!

When are people planning to test?
AF is not due for another 10/ 11 days but I'm guessing I'm about 5/6 DPO. Wondering whether to just wait it out or test early.

TTC baby no2,

Sept was first months trying. Started bleeding after 18 days on Wednesday (very light and literally for 1 day) thought maybe IB but still testing BFN and now 11DPO. So maybe an irregular period as I've also had covid this month so i wonder if that's messed everything up.

Hoping for a positive October :)

@TTCnewbies I really wouldn't go with what the app always predicts, I used flo for ages and when I finally moved to OPKs and premom I saw that my ovulation was a good bit off.

I have never really tracked/ noticed ECWM before. But this time I noticed a notably large discharge a few days ago. Is that a sign you've ovulateed?

@TTCnewbies I'm 9 DPO so planning on doing an early signs tomorrow morning (6 days before missed period/10DPO) and another on Tuesday (4 DBMP/12DPO) then just waiting for AF who is due on Friday. Haven't had any signs of implantation and just generally get the feeling it's not this month. This will be our 18th failed cycle if that's the case so sort of well versed in that feeling now. Still holding out hope until I know for sure!

@pontipinemum so from what I can gather from here, the discharge is like egg white, that seems to be the easiest way to describe it. I've only been paying more attention really since looking in to TTC. Mine was on Sunday and some of Monday.

@wanderlustre I'm sorry to hear it's taking such a long time for you and I'm sending you loads of baby dust! Keeping all crossed for you.
I think I'll buy a couple of cheapies to do at 10DPO. I'll probably not mention to boyfriend as he'll think I'm crazy. But you girls all understand!

Weirdly I have felt quite crampy this week but if I'm being honest, I probably always feel like that but just haven't thought about it before.

Yeah I ignore the app and actually just started to use Fertility friend and so do OPKs and BBT and so far been very intresting to see the pattern.
I got my positive OPK today usually only lasts 24hrs and megative the next days so I assume I ovulated within the 12-24hrs.

I just BD as often as I can if all is ok every 2 days for 10day period.

Yeah EWCM is so hard for me as it goes on for days I had one month where I had EWCM for 9days!!!!! But usuaply it is 3/4days of copious amounts of EWCM then it tapers off for 2 or 3 days then dries up

@TTCnewbies I have a huge pack of amazon cheap ones! I have been sporadically testing since January, I wasn't having periods or ovulating. But one time I thought my sense of smell was too heightened so I tested 😂DH knows I'm pee on the stick loopy.

I got my BFP 8 DPO but it was very faint. Also it was twins, one never got a heart beat :( from 10 DPO it was a blazing BFP. I'm 4DPO so way too early to test here, I'll try hold off until I miss my period. As if I will!!

Thanks everyone. It's not quite been 18 months as I have cycles on the shorter side (21-23 days quite often). It's around 14 months for us so far.

Took two dip strips this morning but both BFN. Will try again on Tuesday just to double check but not looking like it's this month for me.

My follow up appointment with the fertility clinic will be slap bang in the middle of my TWW next month.

@TTCnewbies i’m only 7 or 8 DPO and I’m ITCHING to test. When are you going to crack? I’ve told DP I’ll wait until Thursday or Friday but I think that’s probably going to turn out to be a lie….

@DoloresOnTheDottedLine I am feeling similar about wanting to test early but not quite there yet as I know in my head it's too early (6 or 7DPO I believe)
I have a day off on Friday so am temped to do one then but I think my BF might think I'm nuts not waiting til AF haha. He will be WFH. Having said that , I'm always awake a good hour before him so may just do one with FMU and he won't even know!
Please keep us posted.

Do you feel any signs?! Sorry if you've said already. This thread has so many people and I am losing track!

I’ll definitely keep you posted and same for you please - I’m invested in everyone on this thread getting their BFP!

I’ve definitely been symptom spotting in the last couple of days but it’s particularly pointless for me because I’m on a number of medications to support fertility and all of them could be causing any of these (possibly non existent) symptoms. Tonight I feel really tired and REALLY snappy and irritable which IS a symptom but it’s also a side effect of progesterone (which I’m taking) and also could be PMT. Plus, DP is being really annoying so maybe it’s not a symptom of anything except him being an idiot. 😄

How about you (and everyone!) - what symptoms have you spotted (real or imaginary!)?

Has anyone joined the TWW over the weekend?

I think I'm 8dpo today and have tested 🤣 BFN obviously. I have had the worst symptoms today like AF was going to make an early appearance! Had hot water bottle all day and cramps have eased but I'm still unsure if this is a good or bad sign 😅 have read that it could be sign of implantation 🤞 I'm not going to test now until period is due or if I have any obvious symptoms!

Anyone testing in the morning? 🤞🤞 x

I’m 6DPO and hoping this week goes quickly! AF due on Saturday so we shall see. Really don’t want to test early and waste money/tests this week but I said this last month and caved 😂

Normally a lurker but finally joining this month!!

On our 4th cycle after taking a break due to an early m/c.

Not tracking ovulation just yet, just the normal apps/trying every other night (anyone else tired from that alone or just me? 🤣)

Supposed to be my peak week this week and I won’t be due on until the 20th.. so I’m not even in the 2ww yet.. going to be another long month!

Hi @ceruleansky - yes! Clomid for me too. I’m cycle one and will do four cycles total (unless I’m lucky of course and don’t need to). I took it six years ago for just one cycle and conceived my daughter on the first attempt. I saw up thread that you’re on cycle two of three - why only three if you don’t mind me asking? Lots of people do up to six I believe (I’ve been told four max this time due to my age - I'm
38).

I’m now 8 or 9 DPO and did a FRER this morning (so much for waiting until Thursday or even the weekend when AF is actually due) - it was unquestionably negative. Will try and sit on my hands now until later in the week….

Ahh no wonder! It's so great that it worked on the first try the last time, that's the hope!
I can totally relate to the agony. I have had extreme cramps for 2 weeks straight since ovulation day just to get a BFN at the end. 🤣

I need to talk to my doctor about why we are doing only 3 cycles. I would also like to do at least 6, gives us a fighting chance, lol, since we are actively working on changing our lifestyle.

I'm 32 now, I think if 3 cycles don't work she wants to move on to IUI.
I hope you get a BFP on your first cycle!!

I cracked this morning and tested. BFN.
Only 7DPO but have sore boobs.
Very unlikely to get a positive anyway as we only managed to DTD once in fertile window, so I don't know why I even considered it.
Might look for the November group already 😝

@ceruleansky definitely push for six if you want to continue with it. With my first round (I was also 32 then!), I was told I’d have three rounds at the lowest dose and then potentially three rounds at a higher dose. You’ve got time on your side so a few extra rounds wouldn’t hurt. Do you know for sure that you ovulated on your first cycle? Good luck!!

Will do! I think we could benefit from 6. I was on 100mg the first cycle and didn't ovulate. She did a follicular study on me and since I didn't ovulate by cd16 she said she would cancel the cycle and induce my AF since even if the egg forms after cd16 she doesn't consider it healthy.

On cycle 2 I was put on 150mg and my follicle matured on cd13, after which she gave me a trigger shot of hCG for ovulation.
So 150mg is the dose for me, I guess!

Have you heard of Letrozole. Isn't that supposed to be stronger than Clomid? I wonder if it's a good idea to try that if clomid doesn't work..

Hello, back again for October. Currently 8DPO- AF due Sundayish- ovulation was a bit later than usual this cycle so depends on how my luteal lasts
haven’t noticed any symptoms, dying to test but going to try and hold out until at least Friday which will be 12DPO
