Omg I hadn't even thought of that really! Such a weird thought 😂🙈 I just find the actual saying it really cringe so if I can give people things that tell them the news without me actually saying it then great!

@Hotmalibu94 if you didn't want to say the actual words "I'm pregnant" you can get some lovely things from Etsy to say it for you. We told my partners parents about our pregnancy on Mother's Day and we got her a scratch card which said "what do you get the mother who has everything" then you scratch a heart shaped bit of foil off and underneath it says "a promotion to grandma" which I thought was really cute! Will this one be your first or do you have other children already? Xx

Also it seems I get my temp drop on day 3 of my period... so much for a pre warning 😂

@thejollytrolleydolly Ahh thanks! We got a wine label that says 'pairs well with becoming grandparents again' for one set of parents and Christmas tree ornaments for the other parents.
It's our first but there are other grandbabies on both sides 😅

Scan went really well 🥺❤️ bub was doing lots of bouncing around!

@Hotmalibu94 aww I love that!! I'm stealing those ideas 😂 oh it's so lovely seeing them wriggle around on the scan isn't it?! 🥹 I remember when I had my 13 week scan with my dd and I didn't believe I was pregnant lol then I saw her and it was so weird seeing her move around but I couldn't feel a thing! It gave me goosebumps! 🥰

@Hotmalibu94 yay!! I'm so glad it went well! Seeing them wiggle is mad! Did you get a revised due date?

I took your advice and have ordered some Christmas cards that have our names and wellies, dog paws for our two fur babies and then little baby feet with coming soon....so that I don't have to actually say the words 😂😂 I am 9 years older than my brother and my partner is an only child so this is the first grandchild which I think only makes me more nervous to tell them 😂

Good on you knitting a blanket btw, I would love to! I have no idea where to start though 🤦🏻‍♀️ maybe a YouTube might help haha

@thejollytrolleydolly I really like the wine bottle label, it was so cute! The whole scan was so surreal, I keep walking over to the photos and just staring at them 🥺 you can see it's cute little nose so clearly 😭

@Hollie1802 I was cracking up laughing because the sonographer wanted to get a measurement with the head in a bit more of a natural position and then every time she'd get a view baby would throw it's head right back 😂 and there was one point where like you said I literally saw it springboard off the side 😂 and another time it moved loads and I realised it had rolled from it's back to its side so it was facing the probe 😂 poor sonographer between the baby playing up and me laughing she started to struggle to see things 😂😂😂

Haha well if you do try to knit one I recommend doing a chunky knit! Mine is very fine wool and I've been going for ages 😂 I started it in June and I'm not even halfway, though I did have a break in there! I'm doing it multicoloured too 😂 so from here I'll have dark green, light green, yellow, peach, orange and maybe red and pink 😂 just going to stop when it's long enough but I've a ways to go! It's my first knitting project so I started terribly but you can definitely see where I've gotten better over time 😁

And yes revised due date of 18th June meaning I'm into the second trimester tomorrow! 😱

So exciting hearing about your scans @Hotmalibu94 and @Hollie1802 ! I had mine recently too - seems we have a lot of active bubs on here 😂wiggling around like anything. My due date got revised as well (to where I thought it should be, but NHS insist on going by LMP until the scan) so I'm due 1 day before you @Hotmalibu94 !

@Hotmalibu94 Aw that's so cute, I was laughing too, they are just so wriggly and it blows my mind that they can move that much but still be so small that we can't feel it!!

We are probably going to get going with telling people this weekend providing they have arrived! I am nervous 😂 my friend keeps telling me that I'm mad, but I just can't help feeling awkward like it's announcing that I had S*x 😂 even though I'm 30 and it's obvious hahaha!

hope you ladies are feeling well! Thread is almost full again! I must say we done well, most of us are now expecting so it has been a great few months all in all 🤭 I’ve gone into a few threads and here and there and this is the only one I stick to!

@ginny93 I was convinced my due date would be pushed back if anything but every measurement she did was either 12+5 or 12+6, I should have been 12+2 today! I guess it's all so close really but still 😁

@Hollie1802 I just hate being all "look at me and my news" about everything 😂 I was the same when we got engaged 😂
Honestly I just think chunky knit is quicker 😂 it's a nice little hobby to make in the evenings though! And DH is planning to make the crib so it's nice they'll have something I've made too 🥰

Feeling pretty much the same, since I got my bro I had sore boobs and some twinges on my lower tummy and that’s mostly it. Although I’m started to pee more often I think. I had a stretch the other night and got a sharp twinge so that was fun 😂

yeah I called the gp on the day cause I got excited and she booked me in straight away it’s just a phone appointment but still cool 😊

I got one last weeks digital that I’ll probably use next week cause why not but yeah, stopped taking bbt now and just chilling. I can’t stop looking at the tests every time I pass them tho feels surreal !

Considering I’ve seen lots of faint lines in tests before was surprised how quickly that first test showed up with just evening pee so hopefully shows all is doing as supposed to for now 🥰

Just ignore the paper in the background 😂 trying to study for my life in uk test but it’s boring as hell and been procrastinating for months!

@CatiaR Holy moly, those tests are amazing! How are you feeling? Good luck with the studying, honestly I bet most Brits have no idea what the answers to the test are 😂

@Hotmalibu94 Aw that's a lovely project you've got going on there! I knitted a blanket for my DD when pregnant but never finished it, despite being in lockdown with nothing else to do 😂 I also have a cross stitch sampler that has met the same unfinished fate. I hope you're better at finishing projects than me!

@etaketak1991 thanks, I was quite surprised when I got my first bfp last Friday as I had said I wouldn’t test before AF was due or after (which was only today 🙈) I felt absolutely nothing during this tww until 12dpo when I got sore boobs and thought eh I guess AF is on the way. Was just finishing working from home and decided I wanted to test and to my surprise the line showed up super quick !

Honestly don’t feel much just sore boobs and some lower tummy twinges, peeing more often I feel like and when I do wake up in the middle of the night I’m pretty hungry!

doing the English test was much simpler but expensive lol. Some of the questions on those tests are ridiculous. But oh well if I stop procrastinating it will be fine just booriiing 😂

@CatiaR those lines look so good for before a period!!

period has officially stopped now so now just the waiting game until ovulation day which should be either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, would be lovely to conceive on one of those days although I will take anything at this point 😂 got the Preseed at the ready 😂

Ah it’s so lovely to see all of these BFPs, this is the only group that I’ve found I’ve stuck to and is so supportive.
I’ve had to do 2 pregnancy risk assessments for people at work today. The first I was so happy doing as it’s a friend who had finally conceived, she was anxious about telling me but I’m genuinely happy for her. I’m just wishing and praying my time will come soon.
ive attached my bbt chart, I really thought yesterday my temps were soaring but today it’s plummeted.
if I actually ovulated when my EWCM was then today would be 9DPO but my sensor hasn’t officially detected ovulation so I have no idea where I am.

@Ncl31 oh yeah your temps definitely dropped there, how frustrating to not know where you are.. but honestly bbt can be a bit up and down. This cycle I had temps as high as 37.02 and as low as 36.65 so who knows. Fingers crossed for you

@CatiaR that's amazing 😁 super excited for you! I didn't really get symptoms until like 7 weeks, hoping if I stop my anti sickness soon it will have faded but who knows!
Good luck for the test 😅 I'm pretty sure I'd fail one of those if I had to do it, they seem ridiculous!

Yeah he's a good egg with his DIY to be fair! He does so much 🥰 I don't really have a preference, I was thinking it would be a girl but now I think it'll be a boy. Did you have a preference?

@Hotmalibu94 its weird isn’t it. The extreme mixed emotions. I find that I’m so happy for people who have been trying and gone through a journey and then I feel resentful of those who haven fallen without even trying. One of the assessments I done yesterday was like that “well we’ve only been together for 3 months and wasn’t really trying and it’s too early really but hey”
I just felt sick with jealousy really. Never mind, I’m hoping Friday I get the go ahead with the drug trial which will hopefully help.

my temp has come back up today, as per my chart.

@Ncl31 ahh I completely understand what you mean, I feel like ever since I have decided to TTC everyone around me is announcing babies except for me 😂 which I know is so silly as I am only going into the 4th month and I know people who have taken a long time but still it doesn’t stop me feeling sad lol, happy for them but disappointed for me!

@EK37 i 100% agree with you on that one!
I currently have 5 of my team pregnant, another has just delivered too!
im going to have no staff left so I need to be on mat leave with them!
