Hi @hotmalibu94.

I’m good thanks, still bfn today at 11dpo but temps still high so we’ll see what happens.

@Ncl31 how are you today ?

the other thread got full so I started a new one 😊

I’ll add now all I can remember but keep adding who else I missed!
@pinkmarshmalloww@Huriya @thejollytrolleydolly @ginny93@MorningsideMaisie@Myna13

@hotmalibu94 sounds like you’re getting into your fertile week soon so that’s exciting! Fingers crossed for you this cycle.

@CatiaR I reckon a digital will definitely come up positive now! Your lines are so good 🥰
We've not told anyone except my work! Scan is Monday so will be telling people soon! Going to tell my family at Christmas and I can't wait! ❤️ 12 weeks today 💕

@Ncl31 I guess we always have to take these apps with a grain of salt! I wasn't convinced on when my app told me I ovulated in the last cycle so waiting to see what my EDD will be after the scan 😅 fingers crossed it happened when you think and you're already halfway through the TWW 🙌

thejollytrolleydolly · 09/12/2023 10:16

Eff AF came today 👎🏽👎🏽 I didn't have a big temp drop though which I thought I would it's just skirting just above my base level 🙄 I was counting on the temp to warn me 😂 I've had the slowest decline but by about 0.1 degree each day. Maybe it will crash tomorrow morning 🤷🏽‍♀️

@thejollytrolleydolly aww sorry to hear that, last cycle bbt didn’t drop till the day after AF which confused me.

fingers crossed for next month

@CatiaR I'm doing ok thanks! Constant level of nausea but managing to get on with things most of the time. DH and I work at the same place and he's awful at keeping secrets so I've just accepted most staff will know before Christmas 😂 I'm 6 weeks tomorrow! Planning on telling DD just before Christmas as undoubtedly a family member will talk about it in front of her.

@Ncl31 Fingers crossed that you have already ovulated ❤️ These apps are a blessing and a curse!

@thejollytrolleydolly Sorry about AF turning up- I hope 2024 is going to be your year 🤞🤞🤞

@Hotmalibu94 Eeeeek good luck with your scan!! How exciting x

Ncl31 · 09/12/2023 11:20

@thejollytrolleydolly I’m sorry AF has arrrived. I hope you manage to enjoy Christmas time and try next cycle again

thejollytrolleydolly · 09/12/2023 11:25

@CatiaR maybe next month will be the one then 😉 hopefully I'll follow in your footsteps! The funny thing is if I conceive next month the baby will be due on my partners birthday! Maybe it's fate!

Thanks @etaketak1991 fingers crossed! 🤞🏽

@Ncl31 yeah at least I can drink at the works Christmas party 🙌🏽

EK37 · 09/12/2023 12:26

@CatiaR thats so exciting!!!!

I have ordered myself some pre-seed should be arriving today ready for this month!

when using it do you use it with the applicators or not?

@thejollytrolleydolly - sorry about AF, 🤞 we get our new year baby!!

Ncl31 · 09/12/2023 12:28

@thejollytrolleydolly thats very true. I’m off out this afternoon for our Christmas do. I’m not going to drink too much anyway as I don’t want to waste a full day tomorrow being poorly.

CatiaR · 09/12/2023 12:33

@EK37 i did use the applicator and although I used the recommended amount I think it was 2g given I had plenty of ewcm at the time it definitely felt like too much!

@EK37 fingers crossed for a new year baby!

Hey ladies.

Wanted to jump on as my posts never get any replies 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm ttc after having implant removed 20th November after 4 years. Never had one AF whole time. Have done ovulation test. Negative. I don't have a clue where my body is at 🤔 anyone experience similar? Xxx

thejollytrolleydolly · 09/12/2023 13:12

Hey @Bubblebathmumma I would suggest doing the ovulation strips every day for a month so you can gage where your ovulation peak is. Also do you notice a change in your cervical fluid? That is a sure fire way for me to know that ovulation is close. Also not everyone gets a positive ovulation test, me being one of them. My LH levels are never particularly high I just see them rise through consistent testing. BBT testing is also a good indication of when you ovulated and if you do both at the same time you will often see a correlation between your LH rise and a temperature drop. Have you tried either of these things? X

EK37 · 09/12/2023 13:14

@Bubblebathmumma i don’t I am afraid, I have never had the implant, I was on the pill for nearly 10ish years and I think it took about 4ish weeks for my period to come back. I know though it can take people a lot longer so I think it’s pretty normal! Sorry can’t be much help 😔 hopefully it comes back soon!

Hotmalibu94 · 09/12/2023 13:42

@thejollytrolleydolly ahh sorry AF came! Hopeful for you for next cycle 🤞

@Bubblebathmumma I think it's a case of just frequently monitoring your LH with the strips but it's not been long since your implant came out so maybe just expect the first few cycles to be a bit wonky. I always did BBT as opposed to LH tests and could always tell roughly when my ovulation was (though the last cycle was a bit more vague I can narrow it down to 2 days). But that's definitely not for everyone! Hopefully your cycle sorts itself out soon. Fingers crossed for you!

Myna13 · 09/12/2023 13:50

@thejollytrolleydolly I'm sorry to hear AF has arrived. Hopefully the next cycle will be better for you! 🤞🏽

Myna13 · 09/12/2023 13:57

@Ncl31 I'm in a similar situation as you. I have pcos too! After years of struggling with irregular cycles I managed to have a full year of 33-35 days cycles and was actually able to predict my cycles with OPKs. And just when I thought things were starting to regulate.. I'm back to an irregular cycle. I haven't had a period since my last one ended on 03/10. Tbh I just don't think I ovulated. Then I thought I ovulated last week (had ewcm) but my app seems to think I'm ovulating today/tomorrow based on BBT. Do have some CM but isn't EW.
Tbh, I just want my period to come so I can move on to the next cycle and hope I go back to my more predictable cycles. The last time I had a super long one over a year & half ago, it was a one off and I went straight back to 33-35 days. So hoping the same thing happens again.
I hate having my period, but I need it now
😓

Ncl31 · 09/12/2023 14:15

@Myna13 im sorry to hear you’re back to an irregular cycle. Although, selfishly I’m pleased I’m not the only one having this trouble. I absolutely know how you feel, I hate my period but relived when it turns up as I know my body is working.
fingers crossed it arrives soon for you.
my bbt had had an upward trend for the last 7 days… I’m hoping I actually ovulated last week when I have EWCM+++

Myna13 · 09/12/2023 14:17

@Ncl31 nothing selfish about it! It's always nice knowing you aren't alone in this. I got your cyst-er 😂
Keeping my fingers crossed for you! 🤞🏽🤞🏽

Hollie1802 · 09/12/2023 16:53

@Hotmalibu94 How are you doing?! Has your sickness calmed down now? I had my 12 week scan yesterday and it was crazy seeing little bean in there wriggling around - have you got yours Monday?

I saw you said that you are telling family at Christmas? I was going to do that too but couldn't decide, do you know how you will do it?

Hotmalibu94 · 09/12/2023 17:03

@Hollie1802 I've been on antisickness tablets for a few weeks now so I've been much better! Yeah it's Monday, I'm alternating between being so excited and so anxious 😬 hoping it'll all be ok! I think it's partly because this is the first time anyone aside from my pregnancy tests will be confirming it really which is wild, like they just take your word for it 😂 was this your first scan or had you had a private one first? It must have been so amazing seeing bub 🥺 We've both taken the day off so we are going to make the most of the day 😁
We've got Christmas tree ornaments for our parents! The ones that are like a little fireplace with stockings, and one of the stockings says Baby 😁 hopefully they love it!

Have you had many symptoms?

Hollie1802 · 09/12/2023 20:23

Aw yeah, we also took the day off 😊 I was exactly the same, I did end up having a scan at 6 weeks as I was so anxious about it being ectopic (I read something and it just stuck in my mind!!) and also having had a previous missed miscarriage I was a bit worried but at that point it was literally a blob so it was crazy to see something that actually resembled a baby! And mad to see it move, it was continuously pushing its legs out and almost using the side of my womb as a springboard 😂 it's crazy to me that they can move so much but we can't feel it!

Everything is crossed for your scan, please let me know how it goes! 🥰

Aw that's such a great idea!! We are thinking we may tell people before Christmas now as our parents are the type that will want to talk about it a lot (which is lovely!) but didn't want it to take over Christmas Day - but I haven't got anything to tell them with yet and for some reason I feel so awkward about telling my parents 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm 30 but honestly feel like I'm 15 telling them I'm pregnant 😂😂

Bubblebathmumma · 09/12/2023 20:51

I did an ovulation test yesterday which came up negative with 1 line. But this evening there were 2 lines, the test line wasn't as dark as the control line, does that mean I'm close to ovulation? Considering I have 3 children already you'd think I'd know, but tbh I fell really easily with all without having to do any of this. Which i thank my lucky stars xx Only this time coming off implant with no AF at all for 4 years has thrown me off, also testing temperature was something I never knew 🤦🏻‍♀️ so I'll start documenting that also xx

Hotmalibu94 · 09/12/2023 21:53

@Bubblebathmumma you can have two lines pretty much throughout your cycle, you might be able to see them getting darker if you're doing one or two a day but having two lines doesn't necessarily mean you're close to ovulation :) sometimes they stay the same the whole month and then suddenly go dark, sometimes they darken gradually :) I'd just recommend doing one or two LH tests a day to see what's going on :)

Hotmalibu94 · 09/12/2023 21:54

And for temperature the changes are very slight so you ideally need a specific basal thermometer that reads to 2 decimal points :) needs to be done first thing in the morning ideally the same time every day, before you move/talk/do anything! So it doesn't suit everyone 😅 honestly I found it messed with my sleep actually in hindsight.
