I feel as though I’m doing the bloody hokey jokey the amount I’ve been in and out of this forum over the years 😅😂

Hello!
Ive a long old story but I won’t bore you with it unless you’re interested… I’m 31 TTC our first, and currently 9dpo with a chemical way back in November. I’m just looking for some company and hopefully some positive vibes between the group so someone… anyone gets their BFP! Hopefully me too of course 🤞
We all need a little bit of positivity so let’s do this together ✨

@Tottenhaminmyblood no need to apologise! I’ve been off and on - I tend to peak in terms of researching on here around 8dpo to AF and then drop off completely for a few weeks 😮‍💨

I hope the very relaxed approach works for you. I don’t think symptoms make for any real rhyme or rhythm because I’ve had times we’re I’ve been 99% certain I’m pregnant, due to LOTS of symptoms and then had a BFN. I think symptoms help to bring you hope but then also lead to disappointment if they don’t progress.

fingers crossed for you this month. We’re all here if you want to talk ✨💜

Well.. I’ve just been on a wild one and bought piles of vitamins from Holland and Barrett 🤣 does anyone take anything in particular at present?

Tottenhaminmyblood · 03/10/2023 19:55

@Yolo23 what did you buy ? I just caved and bought a pregnancy test 😂I’m 11dpo I think as didn’t track so will let you know . How you doing ? Xx

Daniki · 03/10/2023 21:43

@Yolo23 yep I bought selenium, high strength vit c & D and more conception tablets. Hoping it helps with low progesterone and I'm starting letrozole this cycle! Just need AF to hurry up cuz if she's late it messes up my HSG text next week 🥹🙈

Yolo23 · 04/10/2023 17:56

@Tottenhaminmyblood how did you get on!?

Ive just had my delivery 🤣 🚚 📦

Ill be trying Omega 3 fish oil, folic acid with vitamin d3 and some random coq10… probably just end up having a massive heart attack now 😅😂 xx

Yolo23 · 04/10/2023 17:57

@Daniki oh you’re on the vitamin train too! That’s reassuring 🤣 my period this month is absolutely bonkers. I’m on then I’m not and then I am… ugh.. hope yours comes soon!!
good luck for your test my lovely - how do you feel? X

How is everyone ? I am back in fertile window and really going for it lol but I keep getting smiley flashing face on clearblue and not static smiley face so would so I’m not going to ovulate this month 😢 hope everyone is ok. Xx

Yolo23 · 18/10/2023 13:55

@Tottenhaminmyblood hello! I’m also in my fertile week but kicking myself as me and OH haven’t managed to DTD so far 😅 Flo says I ovulate tomorrow and I’ve been doing strip tests instead of digitals this month as they’re soooo blinking expensive 🤑

Glad to hear you’re going for it!! You go girl 🥰 we MUST DTD later and tomorrow if I’m to have any possible chance this month. Although last month I had a really weird cycle and it was something like 33 days - I didn’t do ovulation tests so no idea when or if I did ovulate. Let’s hope this month is more straight forward!! Xx

Daniki · 18/10/2023 14:09

@Yolo23 I thought I had replied to you before 🙈 got on well with looks like tubes are clear! I ovulated early this month so I'm 2dpo 🙏 well hopefully I ovulated 😂 have to do the progesterone test again next week to see, I was on letrozole this month 🤞🏻 xx

Yolo23 · 18/10/2023 14:37

@Daniki ah that’s great news all around 🥰 fingers crossed to positive ovulation and hopefully some positive news 🤞 xxx

@Yolo23 HOPEFULLY this feckn cycle after all iv been doing it works 😂 be testing like mad when I turn 7dpo I know rightly 🥴 xx

Yolo23 · 18/10/2023 18:23

@Daniki hahaha! I am pretty good at avoiding testing - I was late for AF and didn’t test but I do think there’s also power in knowledge and knowing about any chemicals (I’ve had one before) can only be useful info… so I’m here for it for other people! So long as they’re emotionally resilient of course as it is heartbreaking when an early positive turns negative 🙃 xx

OP posts:
Daniki · 18/10/2023 18:27

@Yolo23 there's that too, I had a chemical in may 🥴 but I think I knew from the start it wasn't right I couldn't get excited at all kept waiting on something to happen! Xx

Yolo23 · 18/10/2023 18:30

@Daniki ah bless you - mine was November and I was the same. I could just sense although I was 11dpo that it wouldn’t formulate and a day or two later, it didn’t! So glad I didn’t jump ahead of myself.
I wish we didn’t have to go through all of this turmoil just to get what others More often than not take for granted!
On the flip side however, if anyone has to go through all of this, I’d rather it be me as someone has to so I stand by that as entirely shit as it is 😖 xx

How is everyone going ? Xx

Yolo23 · 24/10/2023 16:04

@Tottenhaminmyblood ugh, not had a great cycle and my Facebook has just done me dirty.. it said someone was mentioned in a post, I happened to click on it and seen that someone I hadn’t known was even pregnant has had a baby! 😅
Im not sure if missing the announcement and all the baby bump photos was beneficial or not - it wasn’t intentional.
It has left me feeling a bit wobbly this afternoon, I’m not going to lie! How are you my lovely? Xx

Hi all, im just jumping in as i have been following the thread and also am TTC, im 38 and we are trying for baby number 2. worried we have left it too long (my daughter is 7) but it hasnt been the right time for us before now. I am 7dpo and we have been using conceive plus as this worked within 3 cycles with my daughter. I am getting cramping and pulling in my stomach, feels like my period coming though. Not due for another 7 days so we will see. Just wanted to say i think your all amazing and it feels good to have other people on the same journey!

Tottenhaminmyblood · 24/10/2023 18:03

@Yolo23 I am so sorry am sending you a virtual hug . My best friends daughter announced yesterday she’s expecting by sending me a scan photo I just wanted to burst into tears . Where are you in your cycle ? I got a static smiley face eventually on day 15 which is late for me . Currently am 3dpo but not holding out hope . I have my day 21 blood test on Friday . Thinking of you xx

Tottenhaminmyblood · 24/10/2023 18:05

@bambamtan welcome to the thread ! You’re not far off my age I’m 37 been having unprotected sec since Nov 21 . I am very emotional at the moment . I lost my son and my partner has a child so it’s very hard . Hoping this cycle is the one for you xx

Daniki · 24/10/2023 18:22

@Yolo23 oh that's tough seeing that, I swear it's the same here everyone is either pregnant or just had a baby 🙈 had my progesterone test again today so hopefully get good news from that! I was excited for this cycle with the meds and hsg but I don't think it worked 😖

Yolo23 · 24/10/2023 19:33

@bambamtan oh bless you, that’s really kind to say! Welcome to the feed 🥰

As hard as this journey is, having groups like these are invaluable. Only one of my friends and partner knows we’re TTC (you’d expect my partner to I know 🤣) haha. So being able to use a platform like this to speak with people going through similar situations and ask advice etc is so comforting. I’m sure you feel the same!

Oo conceive plus - I bought them a while ago but got a bit scared as I’d read loads of reviews about it changing peoples cycles. I wish I’d have given them a try now as I ended up throwing them out but hey ho! This month is a write off for us I’m certain but I’m so motivated for the next one - providing my cycle comes as expected! Had a mad one last month 33 days 👀 really bizarre xx

@Tottenhaminmyblood Thank you xx

Im on CD19 today however I’m not holding out any hope this month so the best outcome will be AF starting anywhere between CD 25-29. Then I can start all over again ASAP.

Pregnancy announcements are really tough, I wish people could be mindful that there are hidden struggles going on. Although I also understand if you managed to get pregnant so quickly, you may not even know about these behind the scenes!

Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you and the others this cycle 🥰 xx

Yolo23 · 24/10/2023 19:39

@Daniki Thank you my lovely 🥰 I swear people are just popping them out everywhere. There was one girl I’m friends with on fb that I used to work with who kept her entire pregnancy a secret and then posted baby pics! I was like omg 😆 Although I appreciate that may not have been straight forward hence the secrecy. It’s the ones that are in their words ‘surprises’ that I struggle to deal with the most.

I hope you’re ok too. Progesterone test.. great! I hope the results all come back ok for you! 😊

Why do you feel the cycle hasn’t been positive out of interest? What CD are you on atm? Xx

Daniki · 24/10/2023 20:16

@Yolo23 did you work with Kylie Jenner? 🤣 all I'm seeing on instagram these days is scan pics etc! Defo tough. A Snapchat memory came up for me, my positive digital pregnancy test this date last year 🥹
So I'm on CD21, 8dpo, I know it's early but negative test (thought I had an extremely vfl near non existent this morn) but a tiny bit of brown spotting, I always get that at this dpo before AF. I spot for like 5/6 days! So it's knocked me back feeling like it's going to be unsuccessful! Xx

Yolo23 · 24/10/2023 22:30

@Daniki 😂😂😂 fortunately I don’t follow her - although I am a slight fan of the Kardashians! They’re popping them out left right and centre mind you 🙈

Ahhh memories on socials can be both good and bad eh! ☹️ Hard to avoid them when they come around.

I always spot before AF too - I read somewhere that this can be a sign of low progesterone. I don’t think I’ve ever been tested (atleast not in the past 5 years anyway!) - perhaps I should ask my Dr for one? What do you think? I’ve got to do a day 2-4 blood test on my next period which I realise is to explore AMH reserves.

It frustrates me that they say it can take up to a year naturally but then people have these low hormones which they could help with and they don’t due to the lack of taking things serious early on. It’s so frustrating! 🙃 xx
