I feel as though I’m doing the bloody hokey jokey the amount I’ve been in and out of this forum over the years 😅😂

Hello!
Ive a long old story but I won’t bore you with it unless you’re interested… I’m 31 TTC our first, and currently 9dpo with a chemical way back in November. I’m just looking for some company and hopefully some positive vibes between the group so someone… anyone gets their BFP! Hopefully me too of course 🤞
We all need a little bit of positivity so let’s do this together ✨

@Yolo23 yea exactly, like how frustrating to think you've wasted a year when there was an issue that could of been fixed a while ago! Yes it's a symptom, I'd say it's worth it to ask for the test anyway! I never had problems with my first pregnancy and have always had the spotting so must of had an ok level then and it's dropped now maybe as we get older it reduces?! It's a minefield! Xx

Yolo23 · 25/10/2023 17:17

@Daniki it is! This bloody getting older malarkey 🤣 has no benefits does it 😂

I’ll perhaps ask for one with my GP - good idea. Is progesterone something your GP can prescribe do you know or is that only a specialist? Xx

Daniki · 25/10/2023 18:34

@Yolo23 it depends on your GP tbh, mine wouldn't as he didn't know much about it so I had to go to a specialist, but I'd speak to yours and see ya never know!
Haha there is nothing good about getting older 🫠😂 xx

Yolo23 · 27/10/2023 08:26

@Daniki as always life gets in the way! I’ve not got around to it but tbh I have to have a blood test and the specialist has asked for a few things so I’ll check if prog is on there before I take the next steps.

How are you doing in your cycle with everything currently? Xx

@Yolo23 yea defo check! So I'm 11dpo today and BFN. I'd say I'm out, I'm extremely frustrated this morn 🤯🙈 waiting on progesterone results to see whether I need my dose increased for next cycle, they should of came back yest but typically didn't and Il prob miss out next cycle if I do as it's a bank holiday Monday and doc will be off 🫠 xx

Tottenhaminmyblood · 27/10/2023 09:29

@Daniki I’m so sorry hopefully you will get your bfp in a few days . I’m just about to go in for my day 21 progesterone tests and there is pregnant women everywhere . Don’t know whether to scream or cry xx

Tottenhaminmyblood · 27/10/2023 09:30

Hope everyone else is ok . I’m 7 dpi and no symptoms this month or any crazy testing from me , not a positive cycle x

Daniki · 27/10/2023 09:35

@Tottenhaminmyblood is it your first time getting it done? It's good tho to have an idea what your levels are! Sorry for the pregnant women everywhere, it's so hard 😫 I wouldn't be worrying about symptoms or lack of, I never had symptoms beforehand for any of my pregnancies! Hopefully a good cycle 🙌 xx

Tottenhaminmyblood · 27/10/2023 09:43

@Daniki yes first time I’m having it done . Not sure what levels I need . Have you had it done ? Xx

Daniki · 27/10/2023 09:54

@Tottenhaminmyblood I think all doctors have different levels they like, mine didn't tell me what mine was last month just it was low 🫠 but my GP done the bloods for me on Tuesday and I have to collect them and send to doctor so at least Il know what they are! She wants to see if letrzole worked this cycle (looking like it didn't tho 😫) xx

Tottenhaminmyblood · 27/10/2023 09:58

@Daniki do you have any children ? Ah ok they just said I will receive a text with my results by Tuesday . Would you expect a bfp by 11dpo ? Fingers crossed it has worked this cycle for you xx

Daniki · 27/10/2023 10:00

@Tottenhaminmyblood yea I have 2.5 yr old boy! Do you? Tbh I would of expected it by now, with my two miscarriages last year I had a positive at 9dpo. Altho with my son I didn't get a positive til around 12/14dpo--can't be sure when I ovulated! Xx

Tottenhaminmyblood · 27/10/2023 10:05

@Daniki congratulations on your 2.5 year old I love that age . So sorry about your miscarriages . My son died at 4 weeks old and I’m with a new partner he’s 32 but I’m 37 and the doctors just kept saying that I had conceived before and as my partner had one from a previous relationship just to have more sex and wouldn’t do anything until I went in there crying the other week and said please help me xx

Daniki · 27/10/2023 10:31

@Tottenhaminmyblood omg I'm so sorry that's awful 😭 you poor thing, that would be so traumatic!! Hopefully they take you a bit more seriously, like secondary infertility is so common, especially if you go by the threads on here!
Just got my results there, 33.9nmol/ whatever that means 😝 xx

Tottenhaminmyblood · 27/10/2023 10:33

@Daniki ive read levels anything over 30 you are ovulating , thank you 💙 I don’t know much about secondary infertility looking into it now xx

Daniki · 27/10/2023 10:37

@Tottenhaminmyblood just having a google aswell and seems ok levels so happy with that. But now I'm like what is the reason!? Had the HSG procedure aswell that's supposed to increase fertility. Have you been trying long?
You're still a good age, would your partner get his sperm checked? I think that's our next step! Xx

Tottenhaminmyblood · 27/10/2023 10:41

@Daniki i haven’t heard of that procedure am going to look into that now . I think he probably feels that it is me due to my age but I am going to ask him to if mine is ok . We have used no contraception since Nov 21 . Had about 7 cycles where I got my ovulation so wrong when I finally got clearblue ovulation sticks I realised . Attaching a photo of my app as I think we dtd enough ? It is very encouraging about your levels xx

Tottenhaminmyblood · 27/10/2023 10:42

Haven’t had sex as much this month .

In out in out and shake it all about… 7dpo
Daniki · 27/10/2023 10:49

@Tottenhaminmyblood defo looks like you've done enough! I think next month I'm going to abandon the OPKS and dtd every second night, should cover all bases! Also I went to see a specialist privately as my GP or the EPU were no use to me and I didn't want to have to wait to have a third miscarriage to be seen privately. Haven't got pregnant in over a year so would be a long wait 🫠
Defo no harm in asking for the HSG, it's an internal X-ray where they'll flush dye in through your tubes to see if there is any blockages. It helps to flush out any gunk in there aswell! Xx

Tottenhaminmyblood · 27/10/2023 11:22

@Daniki hpw have you found going private ? Call me crazy but I just did a clearblue ovulation test and got a static smiley am I ovulating again ? Is your husband supportive ? Xx

Daniki · 27/10/2023 11:54

@Tottenhaminmyblood I found my specialist great! She gave me prescription for progesterone to start as soon as I get pregnant, she got all those tests sorted for me and she specialises in recurrent miscarriages. Well worth the money, she hasn't been to expensive! (I'm in Ireland)
Yea he's very supportive thank god. Wouldn't understand as much as me but I couldn't do it without him. Is yours?
Not sure about the clear blue monitor iv never used it, does static mean like a positive? If so I'd dtd anyway today and tomorrow to cover yourself, see what your progesterone results come back from today. If they're very low then it could mean you didn't ovulate earlier than you thought! Xx

Daniki · 27/10/2023 12:55

@Tottenhaminmyblood so doctor is increasing the letrozole for my next cycle she said my levels should of been way higher with the meds😖

Tottenhaminmyblood · 27/10/2023 13:25

@Daniki ah is that good though that straight away increasing ? I suppose you can feel like it is being sorted ? I read up a bit about the clearblue ovulation and we have an oestrogen surge around when af due so I guess that means I’m out . I may look into going private xx

Tottenhaminmyblood · 27/10/2023 13:26

Clearblue ovulation sticks , blank circle means not fertile , flashing smiley face is high fertility and static smiley face is peak fertility xx

Daniki · 27/10/2023 13:49

@Tottenhaminmyblood it's so confusing! Hopefully you're not out, how long are your cycles? Yea glad it's increasing, trying to have a positive outlook for next cycle! Booked fertility reflexology, used to do it last year and stopped and may aswell start it back up again, if anything just to destress! Xx
