Around 12dpo BFN- anyone advice?

Sorry if this is a repeat post but I'm struggling with the symptoms and subsequent BFN.

I'm nauseated, cramping on and off, have under arm pain and intermittent headaches. Frequent mood swings. Slight spotting today. It's a rubbish roller coaster to feel all of this then get a negative test.

Is there anyone else out there going through the same rn? Does progesterone cause this?

It's not normal for me to have these symptoms prior to ttc. I use an app at the moment and am going to try OPK tests next month.

Need some advice for how to manage this every month. It's our 2nd month trying. Can't say I'm obsessing over symptoms all the time but pain and sickness is pretty hard to ignore!

Any advice?

@Peach56 thank you. Won't even get to speak to her unfortunately. Just need to phone reception again and say I won't need the appointment. They didn't want to cancel it when I spoke to GP for some reason but told me to call back today and do so (which I forgot to do 🤦🏻‍♀️)

@Peach56 how are you getting on? What day are you on now? I'm day 15 and my app originally said I ovulated over the weekend but think it might be today now, so going to nag my OH for one last try later today haha.

Been a very busy few weeks so I've been focused on 'trying' this month. Just the odd 'go' that I've not even tracked. I'd wanted to start LH strips but will focus on that next month, I very much doubt I'll be in the race.

How are you feeling? I'm sure your OH will be happy to oblige! 😂

I've been doing the clear blue advanced ovulation tests again and got my flashing face this morning. Husband is going away to Portugal on Thursday and not back until Tuesday so I guess we need to get going now and hope peak comes either before he goes or just after.
My pregnancy only ended last Sunday/Monday though .... not sure if it's too soon or if I'm ok to go for it again this month? I know I should probably wait until my cycle re establishes itself but there's no harm in starting again immediately, is there?

I'm trying to be positive but also relaxed at the same time - its tough! We should get our consultation at the fertility clinic next month, so I'm trying to focus on that and remind myself that at least if nothing happens, we will be moving forwards with our potential IVF journey 😀
@JC084 I'm not too sure how it works - I've read some people on here say wait a month before trying again, but others say they try again straight away and fall pregnant that month. I think our bodies are pretty good at knowing what should and shouldn't work so I think theres no harm in trying.

I'm cd19 and cramping again. I'm not pinning any hopes on this month as not been focused on 'trying'.

I’m one day behind you, CD18 over here. Did as much as we could have done I think but don’t feel too optimistic. Trying not to think about it really, have spent the afternoon looking at holidays next year to distract myself! Promised myself I’m not going to test at all this month unless AF is late. Let’s see if I can stick to that in a few more days!

@Peach56 doing ok thank you. Just trying to relax, be kind to myself and start again properly from next cycle.

This cycle was filled with events, and wasn't thinking about trying like previous months. So, yes, this month I've had (too many) drinks. I also agree with you, when you feel like it's probs not happening why can't you enjoy yourself?! 😅

But now I'm cramping and getting kind of shooting pains in my nipples. I very much doubt anything will happen this month, will just wait for the inevitable AF. 🙄

that could be a good sign? It’s so tricky to know isn’t it?? I’ve been spotting a lot today, only day 21 so feels early for AF but this has happened quite a lot before so not reading anything into it. I went for acupuncture earlier this evening so I feel nice and relaxed at least!
Are you planning on testing? Im going to try and hold out but am out on Friday and would like some guilt free drinks so may test then if AF hasn’t appeared by then 😥

Also sounds positive! Yeah, test before you go out so you won't have it in the back of your head.

Yes, it’s for fertility. This was only my third session and not too sure exactly what it does but I do feel a lot more relaxed and less anxious. I think we will push for IVF in the next few months and it’s the one thing the NHS recommends so I figured it couldn’t harm starting it now. 😊

Yes I have had "pregnancy" symptoms and it is just high levels of progestrone it rises until AF shows up.

The month I conceived LO I had no "pregnancy" symptoms.
But everyone is different and each pregnancy is not the same.

I am 11DPO with barely there lines (OH saw it) but at this stage I thought it would be very dark as with LOl 12DPO was very dark. So feel pretty down this evening.

@Tryingtobepatient001 Good for you for doing something nice for yourself. Less stress can only be a good thing.

If you're happy to get the ball rolling with IVF then go for it... But you're not out yet! 💐

@Peach56 @MixedCouple any news? I did a test this morning - BFN as I expected 😣Just waiting for AF to show now.
It's officially 1 year of trying, so decided to push for my NHS consultation for IVF, and if we don't get anywhere, look to go private early next year. We'd best start saving!!!😂

@Tryingtobepatient001 🙁 I'm sorry. Don't lose all hope yet though. Planning ahead sounds positive though, it helps to feel like you can take charge.

@MixedCouple you had a faint line though! How did you get on?

I'm not holding out much hope, as I said, I wasn't really 'trying' or on the ball this cycle. Not testing unless late, which would mean testing on Monday. A few promising symptoms but it's tiring symptom spotting, isn't it? Trying to put them at the back of my mind.

@Peach56 you never know, I seem to always hear tales of people getting positives after they aren't trying! Keep us posted!

Thought I'd jump on here and check how you ladies are doing.
I got a positive clear blue ovulation test last week and whilst I wasn't convinced it was correct, went with it anyway as it was worth a try.
A few days ago I felt like I should test again on some ovulation strips I had from Boots and got a faint line, then a darker one, then positive yesterday ... so off we go again 😅
I think what happened a few weeks ago obviously gave me a false positive on the CB and so I was probably best to have waited for my cycle to settle.
Will be back in the TWW shortly and so going to try and not test early, not stress, not obsess over symptoms .... but I know I will 😂🙈

@Peach56 thank you. I am 3days of Dark brown spotting. All my tests are now negative. Spotting started on Tues evening 12DPO 2days before expected period but not red. Not heavy just saying very very light. All my HPT are negative.
Someone said this is implantation but that would be too late from when I ovulated! Well I know they say 8-12DPO implantation can occur but .... I don't feel like I am pregnant or I am on my period. Just a strange thing happening. I woke up today expecring a full bleed but nothing. No cramps no PMS nothing
