Tested this morning, despite Fertility Friend showing I haven't ovulated I wonder if I ov''d on day 14. BFN. Oh well, another month here we go.

hope everyone is well today thanks for the well wishes for DD much appreciated i couldnt get an appointment for the GP til wednesday morning so we will hopefully find out what is wrong tomorrow another development in her nail problem is that she was picking at the peeling bit on one of her nails yesterday and it started to bleed and totally freaked her out!! she keeps tellin me they are sore aswell so the sooner the GP sees her the better really.

Morning! My period just stopped after 8/9 days! Hurrah.

I have a short cycle so I am wondering if I might ovulate early.

Anyway - just stocked up on juices, vitamins etc and have made a list of foods I need to eat to get myself in tip-top shape.

I AM going to do this!

i know moonlit it is that time again i think you are very good for not testing yet!! i am itching to test but as i dont get paid til friday i have to wait til then to buy a test (i used all my ebay cheapies last cycle) DH has said he would like me to wait til i am due or late to test as we are wasting a hell of alot of money on HPTs and he wants to save some so we could be beaten by Af before we get a chance to waste a test makes sense i suppose... il prob buy an overdraft funded one before then though so dont quote me on the waiting...

so i idly bought ovulation tests in supermarket this morning, and just did one.

i got two lines: positive.

does that mean that I'm ovulating or about to ovulate.

does that mean that BDing on Sunday like we did could do it?

does that mean we should be BDing tonight?

ingognito The two lines on some brands have to be the same colour or darker than the control line to be a positive, as a faint line is a negative. Sorry if that sounds patronising but I didn't read the instructions properly when I first used them, duh! I'm your cycle buddy and got a positive opk yesterday so we're both late hatchers this cycle. You should ov within 24 to 36 hours after the LH surge so get bd'ing tonight

yes the line in the test window is darker than the control if anything.

if I can't get any BDing done tonight, might the BDing that was done on Sunday work?

Oooh a very dark line, that's good. Sperm from Sunday might still be hanging about, they are meant to live for a while in fertile fluid but try to seduce your DH tonight as you might not actually ov for another day or so.

OMG - I can't beleive how expensive fertility monitors are!

CD means cycle day ie how many days since the first day of your last period and BFP is a BIG FAT POSITIVE ie a positive preg test what are your stats and il add you to the list if you want

I'm CD2 or 3 - cycle not behaving since started TTC
Have one kidlet (4yo) and been trying for second one for a year and a half - and 3 mcs
But feeling positive this month...planning to make hubby work very hard and get one of those BFPs LOL

Ah-hah! I've now found the thread I was on before. It's no good going off in a sulk for a couple of weeks when your AF arrives, because you'll never find your way back.

Anyway - having posted on the 2ww thread earlier that I had no EWCM, even though I was now on day 14, I've just returned from a visit to the loo where I found that, in fact, I now have plenty. So that's good.

It's funny. I posted on here a couple of weeks ago that my AF hadn't yet arrived, only to post later that actually it had. It looks as though posting on here that something hasn't happened is a surefire way to make it happen.

So I don't appear to be pregnant yet.......
