Back from holiday and hoping that the relaxation and BD'ing has made a tiny bean

kate hi hun ! am so glad that all is going well for you and beany. I can't believe you are nearly 12 weeks already, the time passes so quickly (although I guess it it dragging for you as you just want to be further on !). Lovely to hear from you. Don't stop posting, it is good to hear how you are doing. Thanks so much for the baby dust xx

josiejellybean hello CB . Your watery CM could be a very good sign as apparently you can this when PG - fingers crossed

BrightShinySun another CB hurray ! Looks like we may be ov buddies too as I think I ov'd on cd19. opks don't work for some people so maybe the EWCM was your best clue to ov.

Well assume I ov cd19 but temps not as high as usual post-ov so a bit concerned. I have day21 blood test on Monday so if there is a problem hopefully I'll find out soon enough. Also still waiting for scan appt from hospital, hopefully get some answers soon

JaamyButty · 13/03/2008 11:37

Congratulations Kate2179! I bet you're also a teensy bit excited about scan tomorrow. Hope it goes well.

Sorry to hear about Spink. Not "met" you butsending you hugs anyway. Take care.

Morning Pink. Still hanging on in there?!

JJB - not sure about the discharge. Can't be bad (infection, etc) if it doesn't smell. Body's never quite the same after having a baby.

Mibbes - here's hoping for a holiday bean for you. Where did you go? Are you going to have to call DC "Fuengirola"?

Feeling a bit better today. "Morning sickness" nearly gone so am guessing 'twas food poisoning after all! AF still here though (just about), day 8 now!! Maybe I'm too much of a good hostess and she doesn't want to leave. Tea and biccies anyone?

JaamyButty · 13/03/2008 11:38

Mentalpup - sorry that old hag came to visit.

JaamyButty · 13/03/2008 11:39

And Molliemooma too. Sorry. She really is paying lots of unwanted visits.

Should really read whole thread before posting!

MollieMooma · 13/03/2008 12:19

Thanks Jaamy

BrightShinySun · 13/03/2008 12:39

Hi everyone! I've been dying to get on here...I finally got a +ve OPK - wo hoo!! Ok so I've got a few questions I don't know if you can help with....I did my last one monday(CD18) and it was -ve then I had to wait for my new ones to arrive and so I didn't get to do one at all on tues but by that point had decided I must have missed it because I'd been having ewcm etc etc. When I got back from college yesterday they had arrived so I thought oh well I'll do one anyway and there it was clear as day a +ve!!

But now I'm worrying that I missed my inital surge by not testing tues and we didnt BD that night altough we did the sun and mon and last night....arghh - can't believe I used 22 of the bloody things all month and then the day I didn't I probably missed it!!

Oh by the way its still +ve today but then I guess it would be after ovulation anyway wouldn't it??

Sorry all the excitment has made me selfish...I'm so sorry to hear your news musicgirl I hope you get the support you need at this rubbish time.x

Hi mibbles yep we certainly are as you can tell I'm still a bit of a newbie at this! Trying to get the hang of whats going on in there!!

Hi everyone else...afternoon pink still holding in there!!

pinkgirl30 · 13/03/2008 12:54

hi jaamy and sun

still hanging on here like a gibbon waiting for a banana lol

great new about + opk sun

twinklingfairy · 13/03/2008 12:55

Bss opk's detect the LH surge that occurs before the egg is....dispatched? haha
Anyway, once you get your +ve, you have between 6hrs and 48hrs before the egg is out.
So if still +ve today, I would say a couple more BD's would do the trick.

Sorry for those with TEW visiting. I am expecting her any day now. but am dreaming that she won't turn up

pinkgirl30 · 13/03/2008 12:58

hi fairy does magic spell to ward of evil witches *
xx

beaniesteve · 13/03/2008 12:59

I think I must have missed ovulation.

BrightShinySun · 13/03/2008 12:59

Thanks TW I was hoping that, obviously going to try and squeeze a couple more in just to be on the safe side....then I think I'll give us both a break until AF arrives and is out the way again....need a rest after the marathon BD session this month!!

BrightShinySun · 13/03/2008 13:01

Whats up BS? I thought I had too but got +ve on OPKs yesterday (CD20!) so theres hope for you yet!

beaniesteve · 13/03/2008 13:05

If I get a positive on CD18 (today) or later I doubt it would implant as my cycle is 24 days

I dunno - I think I have been drinking too much water so my sticks weren't picking up any surges or something. Nut have also had a total lack of EWCM, I can't find my cervix, my sister in law is pregnant, my work mate STILL keeps going on about how I shouldn't get pregnant until August so I can have the summer off and.. well, I just feel like this won't be my month.

Have been having a lot of sex though - so there's always a silver lining?
And my mum's partner is going to make me a crib (If I get pregnant) which is nice...

Last night I felt loads of twinges in my abdomen, but then I got the farts so I am guessing that's all it was.

twinklingfairy · 13/03/2008 13:12

LOL at getting the farts beanie!!

Well, as long as you are BD like the crazies, you should catch it.
Lack of Cervix is a good sign though!

Grr at work collegue, tell her to shut her geggie! Having a baby does not mean you get a nice holiday in the sun. The chances are more like that you won't see any of the summer, being inside looking after a V small LO. Better to have the baby earlier so that they are crawling by the time it is summer, that way you both get the fresh air.
She obvs doesn't have children.

BrightShinySun · 13/03/2008 13:15

Ok so maybe you ovulated earlier in the month and like you say you've been BD lots so theres still hope? Maybe your cervix is just really high...not sure how it works but if it rises before ovulation and then is lower before AF maybe it will stay higher if AF isn't going to arrive?!

I can't really say much coz this is just my first month and I'm still getting my head round this but its good to think positivley....you never know its going to happen sooner or later!

Oh and tell your work colleagues you'd rather be off in the winter so you don't have to drag a little baby out every morning on the cold wet days!!

beaniesteve · 13/03/2008 13:17

lol - she has one teenage child who is her pride and joy (And a very nice girl so brought up well etc) but she's obsessed with me having the summer off.

Is no sign of a cervix good news for ovulation? What happens to it when you're pregnant?

I just ordered 50 new OV tests on ebay for next mont ... though perhaps by tempting fate I won't need them ha ha!

BrightShinySun · 13/03/2008 13:20

I'm not a 100% sure about what happens when your pregnant I guess it must stay high if it comes down lower again before AF....to be honest I would just really like to knwo when the hell I ovulate at the mo so I'm using it for that!!

BrightShinySun · 13/03/2008 13:22

Find Teuch she seems to know a bit about cervix monitoring! (Theres a thing to get a reputation for!!)

twinklingfairy · 13/03/2008 13:23

Yup, when you are ov, your cervix goes high, soft and open. Which can make it V difficult to find. Once ov past it goes low, hard and closed.
Closer to AF,...actually, I am not entirley sure, but I think that BSS is right, it goes high again, but presumably closed

Your work collegue just won't remember then
I think better to be able to enjoy the garden together, rather than starting to crawl in the rubbishy months.
Tell her, she may agree, but at least it might stop her going on.
If you get your BFP now, then you would get the following summer with a more active baby.
Still within the 9 months mat leave.

pinkgirl30 · 13/03/2008 13:28

hi bs here are some smiles
