fruitloop79 · 12/03/2008 11:51

Morning, ladies! I think we're due a few more BFP's! pinkgirl30 no pressure ok!

How are all my long cycle pals? still baring up? not given up yet i hope!

beaniesteve · 12/03/2008 11:51

I recon I must be on my TWW too, though for me it's more like 8/9 days as my cycle is short. Still no positive on the OV stick but we put in some practice tonight and will be doing again tomorrow (if not tonight) just incase. here's hoping for everyone.

JaamyButty · 12/03/2008 12:35

Hello! Very blustery here but managing to keep everything anchored down - including DDs!

Twinklingfairy - lol at "heavy inplantation bleed". Had almost convinced myself that's what AF was. Am still feeling sick constantly and still have AF on day 7 which is quite long for me (usually 4 or 5 days). Was wondering whether this is a very early miscarriage? Anyone any ideas?

Well done bs for keeping up the practice!

pink - have you gotten some better tests yet? You may HAVE to invest in a CB just for once. This must be driving you mad!

BSS - Did you get in any BD on mon/tues? If not am hoping next month will be better for you.

fruitloop - CD80?! Is that normal for you? Don't mean that in a bad way, just wondered how you keep yourself from testing every day/going mad if that's not your usual cycle length. Also, what does dpo mean (sorry, newbie alert!)

And can someone let me know what TWW/2WW means too. Sorry for all the questions, will settle in soon, I promise.

MollieMooma · 12/03/2008 12:42

Jaamy TWW or 2WW is two week wait after ovulation until AF, DPO is days past ovulation, some of us test from 10DPO with the early pg tests, in fact I'm really with myself, I gave in and did a test today (AF due Friday) it was a BFN as I knew it would be but I should have just waited for AF to arrive instead of giving in!
This will be 2nd AF since mm/c and really dreading it, poor dh is suffering terribly as I'm mood swinging all over the place, bless him
Hope everyone else is OK?

beaniesteve · 12/03/2008 12:43

2WW/TWW is Two week wait, basically the time between ovulation and when you expect your period.

DPO is - days past ovulation

fruitloop79 · 12/03/2008 12:45

hi jaamy yeah, completely expected! I've got PCOS. I've learned to keep away from the tests! DPO = Days Past Ovulation. so I'm 9 dpo. FF says I should wait till 22nd to test but i will be 19dpo by then! so gonna test next Tues when I'll be 15dpo instead.
2WW is the 2 Week Wait post ovulation, its where you obsess and make up signs and symptoms of pregnancy

pinkgirl30 · 12/03/2008 13:39

hi all busy on here today
hi fruit loop cycle buddy i am hoping for a bfp too!! - pinkgirl starts dripping with sweat from all the pressure* lol on joking

hi butty- have a tesco test lined up to take on mon? will that one be ok? - glad that you are anchored down and have blown away into a black hole lol

musicgirl · 12/03/2008 14:30

I've taken myself off the graduate list but my partner and I will take a break for a few months before trying again.

Well done to the recent graduates and hope all goes well.

So sad for you Musicgirl . Take care of yourself.

Thanks all for responses to my acronym queries.

MM - I have had terrible mood swings since starting TTC 8 months ago. Poor DH! I bet they'd have a great old moan if all our DHs got together!

Pink - don't know about Tesco tests. Just heard that CB is supposed to be the most accurate.

FL - sorry for the questions. Hope you don't think I wa being nosey. All clear now. Good luck on Tuesday with testing.

JaamyButty · 12/03/2008 15:47

Do you know what, Ei? It's the first month in ages that I haven't got a test in the house! Feel too poorly to drag the DDs out to get one plus the weather is yuk. Will try to pick up one in am after dropping off DD1 at nursery (will only have to handle 1DD through shop then). Otherwise will have to wait until DH is home tomorrow evening and send him out to get one.

Can you write TEMP on a note where you'll see it first thing when you wake up, eg on your clock, etc) so that you can't forget?

Treats · 12/03/2008 15:59

hi everyone.

Musicgirl I'm really sorry to hear your news.

Desperately trying not to think about pregnancy symptoms, as AF not due until Easter weekend, and it's far too long to be obsessing every second, but it's not really working at the moment.

pink - how cr@p that your doctor won't do a pregnancy test for you! What are they there for if they don't diagnose?? Suppose you showed up saying you felt rough and weren't sure why - would they tell you to go away and find out for yourself if you were pregnant or not? I hope not!!!

Hope you're holding up!

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 12/03/2008 16:04

jaamy i will have to try somethin as if not i will fail miserably doin temps i might tape the BBT thermomenter across my eyes so when i wake up i will have to pull it off in order to see and so will be impossible to forget lol good idea on the one DD in the shops idea i dont know how i will manage with 2 little pairs of hands pinching things off shelves in the shops!! it doesnt look so innocent when 2 children are light fingered...
has anyone tried their DCs on multivitamins?? its just that sian always seems to be ill with somethin or other and i bought childrens multivitamin drops but i dont know whether to start her on them or not im not the most decisive of girls you know anywho...

Hello ladies! Hope you'll forgive me crashing the thread for a moment, I haven't posted on here for ages, although I have been lurking from time to time to see how you're all getting on. There are a lot of new faces, to whom I wish speedy and sticky BFPs!

I just wanted to say to musicgirl how sorry I am to hear your news. If you'd like to, there will always be a warm welcome and a piece of cake waiting for you over with the MC Avengers. Sending you lots of (((hugs))) at this horrible time.

If anyone was in doubt how common mcs are they only have to look at the grad list, currently everyone who is on it has had one. (Sadly Spink has recently mc'd too) BUT that does not mean there is no hope. Speaking of which, I am FINALLY 12 weeks pg tomorrow (all being well ) and I wanted to thank all of you who gave me so much support during the dark early days of this pg, it helped enormously. I'm terrified about my scan on Friday, but only 2 more sleeps to go!

Mibbes throwing some extra baby dust your way, once a CB always a CB !
xx

josiejellybean · 12/03/2008 22:04

musicgirl,Spink im so very sorry to hear the sad news. I hope things are brighter for you soon.
kate congrats hon, goodluck for the scan im sure it will be fine, i bet you cant wait to see yr little bean X

Ok i have an embarassing question? please dont laugh, but, ive been having this discharge and i feel like im acctually wetting myself. it is comletely clear, not smelly or anything but there is just so much of it! im sorry to be discusting but i have never known anything like it. It even soaks through to my trousers if i dont wear a pad? i dont feel like i have an infection or anything is this normal? ive nerver had it before? is it like this when your fertile and ive just never noticed?

josiejellybean · 12/03/2008 22:06

I should probs add that i had really long cycles b4 Lo came along and this is only my 2/3 cycle since she was born so maybe ive just forgoten but i dont remember it being this heavy?
