I think ive just OV yesterday as had a pain on my right handside where i would imagin my ovary to be iuswim? i hope im not going off my rocker but have been BD just incase. LO seems to have settled a bit since my last thred bless her.. mibbes and bss are we cycle buddies??

caspercat and mollie he was gorgeous and yes I did think about him being mine but hoping that all this waiting will be worth it in the end. All of my antenatal friends have either had a baby or heavily pregnant with no2. Annoying isn't it!!
Eveld I OV late last month (day 20 i think) and then got AF 12 days later so hoping this won't make a difference to TTC.

Not sure which ttc thread I should be on plus I feel a bit of a fraud because we are not ttc until later this year but I am hoping something will happen earlier than planned if you know what I mean

I want baby no.3 badly and think about all day and night so yes I am quite obsessed and its nice to know there are others just like me

Could I cope with baby no.3 - will be hard I know but I have managed to get by with two and although I am not the most organised mother I do try to make life fun for them and give them lots of cuddles.

I just long to hold a little wobbly baby into my neck and smell their skin - i lurve babies!!! I held a two month old yesterday and honestly I felt emotional! I can not believe how strong broody feelings can be. Men dont understand and I feel like I am going in insane. The only cure is to be pregnant so I guess I should keep in dh's case.

oh by the way I am on day 22 of my cycle and know as usual there could be a slight chance I could be pregnant because we don't use protection only the old fashioned "out in time" !

I think we are cycle buddies Josie wo hoo....I'm still trying to work out when I ovulate, I'm thinking it was either yesterday or today as I've had lots of EWCM and my cervix has disappeared (tmi sorry!) lots of weird pains too although could just be AF pains and I've actually missed the ovulation boat altogether!! No luck on the OPKs at any point and I've managed to use about 20 since day 8 ha ha!!

BrightShinySun I have been testing since day 10 of my Cycle (now on 16 I think) and not had a single positive on an OV stick. and what I thought was teh start of EWCM turned out not to be. I have a strange cramping in my abdomen and I feel unwell. I am guessing I am just coming down with something, I just feel like with no obvious ovulation perhaps I am just not going to be lucky this month.

for the last week have had lots of white cm.

Afternoon.

Think I'm now in my luteal phase as my boobs have started hurting, which they typically do the two weeks before my period. Didn't get much EWCM this time round, but am fairly sure I had a bit of ov pain on Saturday.

I just read in the Daily Mail today that a watery mouth could be a sign of pregnancy. Another symptom to obsess about!!!! AND - I've definitely needed to go to the loo a lot today.

But so hard to know whether my mouth is watering because I'm making it water......

Ei - sorry that AF got you, but glad you're not feeling bad about it.

fruitloop - good to hear that you've still got ov signs and it's all going well.

pinkgirl - so frustrating for you. I know it's practically impossible, but maybe you could just wait and see what happens rather than spending loads of money on hpts? If nothing in two weeks, you could go to your GP and get tested for free! Hope it works out.

Afternoon all, pinkgirl, i think you're being incredibly well self-controlled! I'd be on my umpteenth test by now .
Just a quick question about my cycle - this'll be the first time i've done any kind of monitoring - have got the whole lot know (thermometer, ov sticks, & will be checking cervix & EWCM for 1st time - scary!).
My cycle is irregular, 28 - 40 days, i.e no bloody idea when ovulating. When do you think would be a good time to start using the sticks? I really can't afford to go through 10 sticks a month. Do i wait for EWCM, high cervix & temp rise, or will it be too late then? That's assuming i spot any of those signs, if they even appear!!

casper I've started sticks and temping for first time this month I decided to do the OPK's from day 9 onwards so that next month I'd have more of an idea of when to do it, but as I'm typing I'm realising that won't work for you as you've said your not regular oopsd Hmm not sure what to say really, have you ever noticed EWCM before? Have you got the cheapie ones from ebay?

Thanks for your reply MM. Not noticed EWCM before, but never really been looking, IYSWIM! I bought Boots own ov sticks (is that what u mean by OPKs?). 5 to a pack. Hoping not to have to buy 2 packs a month, but obv will do if needs be..

Hello All!

Been ill for last few days. Thought it was food poisoning (was out on Sat night) but the feeling I have is just like all day morning sickness as I had with DD1 and DD2. Then read Treats post about having a watery mouth when pg and thought OMG...until I realised that I have just had AF so couldn't be pg. But I really honestly do feel like I have MS! Weird!

Casper - my cycle is irregular too so I really wouldn't know when to use OPK either. PLus DH is away a lot so have decided I will just have to grab him when ever he is home and hope that one of the days is the right one!

Casper hve you loooked into buying the ebay cheapy opks?
You maybe shoudl, they are about £3 for 15 or something equally cheap.
Until you are more sure when you ov (ovulate) this would defo be a cheaper way to go.
They worked fine for me and, now that I know my cycle, I have stopped using them and just temp.

Just a thought, cos you prob ought to start from CD9 but it could be up to CD26 or so before you get your +ve
