Ceebee, OMG, your ds is sooo cute and looks great either way.

Carolyn, sounds like you had a good time, although sorry AF showed. Great pic, looks like a lovely place.

HC, those type of callers drive me crazy. I had the 6th phonecall from Weatherseal yesterday in as many week and eneded up giving tghem an earful and reminding them that I am registered with TPS and were they looking to be reported? Opps! What can I say? Hormones?!

Willmouse, I think you should be made a saint, lol!

MJIM, glad all went well with the scan. I can't wait for my first one.

The midwife FINALLY called me today, is coming tomorrow morning to book me in, eek! Guess I had better start tidying up. Now it feels more real, especially as I have so few symtpoms. Fingers crossed she can chase my early scan. Also need to get ds2 to the GP to check for a UTI. I should have taken him last week but procreastinated with the hols. Poor lad is having so many accidents a day now (can't be baby related, we haven't told them) and then said that his wee was hot earlier. It's all go here!

Morning all.

I am laughing at Saint Willmouse - you don't know the half! She gave me a 15 minute grilling on when/if we were going to have a third baby - the cheeky thing - it's not like we're close. She is so transparent - she wont want me to 'beat' her to it. She wants to wait until my niece is 4 and spent 5 minutes discussing the merits of having an age gap. This conversation was conducted while she stood in the corner of my kitchen watching me clear up the lunch things!

I am on CD23 and can tell that I am about to ov - so another long one again for me which is a little strange. The plan to abstain has not gone well so far!

Mjim, your poor ds, I hope the pox isn't too bad for him and he feels better soon. Oh, am 8+2 today. Ds2 seems to be ok apart from constant accidents. Took him to the GP today and they have sent a sample to be tested after finding blood in it (may be something, may be nothing)

Willmouse, OMG, I would hate a relative like that, what a cheeky, nosey cow! LOl at the lack of abstaining!

BB, well done on your bd every other day, sounds very, erm, interesting, between the lice and the the rotten colds!

Booking in appt went well and as expected, my notes have me red flagged as being "high risk" Still, I don't mind the extra monitoring so long as I get a healthy bean at the end. She said she would go back to the office and try and get me in slightly earlier for my dating scan (can be as early as 10 1/2 weeks), so that I can see the OB consultant at around 12 weeks instead of 16. No letters from the hospital yet!

majormoo · 26/03/2008 19:21

evening all.

Glad your midwife appointment went well HM2J. If you don't mind me asking, how come they have identified you as high risk? Is it because of your DS's heart problems? Apologies if being too nosey.

MJIM hope DS doing OK. At least it will be over and done with. I have just about recovered from the disappointment of missing our trip to Venice for a friend's wedding 3 years ago because of DD's chicken pox!

Willmouse. How rude. Enjoy your not managing to abstain antics

I have been in a foul mood all day. DS is still coldy/has eye infection so not sleeping at all well so I am really ratty. Met a friend earlier and I bet she wished she hadn't bothered seeing me.

BB impressed at your stamina. We are planning to go back to the every other day thing next month. Fingers crossed we will have the energy.

OOH looking forward to the Apprentice later. Luckily DH going out to watch footie so no clash of TV choices. It does make me miss working though, as I used to enjoy going in to work and chatting about The Apprentice/ER/Lost/Desperate Housewives etc etc

majormoo · 26/03/2008 19:23

ceebee74 · 26/03/2008 19:58

Juanitad ? I am going to lie about the date of LMP as it is just too complicated to explain about late ovulation/implantation bleed so have moved my LMP date forward by a week ? this gives me a EDD of 26 November.

Willmouse ? at your SIL. Some people really are so engrossed in their own little lives that they have no thought for anyone else do they? Saint Willmouse sounds fab

MJIM ? so glad the scan went well ? did you take DS with you? It is such a lovely time isn?t it?

Carolyn ? lovely photo (of you and the scenery) Have you moved from your sofa yet??

HM2J ? glad everything went well today and your MW is progressing things. Your poor DS ? it does sound like a UTI if there is blood in his wee but it is so hard when they can?t tell you anything isn?t it?

Belgian ? lol at the ?sexy accessories? ? at least if you do conceive this month, you will have fond memories of the experience

Majormoo ? I am also looking forward to the Apprentice ? I love it! Fortunately DH is away tonight as he usually sends me upstairs to watch it as he is not a fan ? but I can sit in comfort on the sofa (although watching it in bed is quite appealing tonight).

(HC ? I have cut and pasted this from the other thread so don?t read it twice ) Well, I am beginning to think that DS?s sunny and cheery nature must have been in his curls as he has turned into a complete nightmare since his haircut yesterday . Tantrums every 5 minutes over the slightest thing (ffs, he had a tantrum because we were ?catching the Pinky Ponk? tonight). He asked for a drink but he had a tantrum when I pointed to every single cup so I have no idea what he actually wanted ? and that pretty much set the tone for the evening tonight. Now someone remind me why I am having another one??

Right, off to tidy up and have some tea before the Apprentice starts. Day off tomorrow and off to the gym for my fave class in the morning and then meeting a MN friend for lunch ? cannot wait!

Majormoo, yes, the reason I have been flagged is because of ds2, bless him! I think any woman who will need any kind of additional screening to normal is classed as high risk. Plus, she openly admitted to me that this baby will be refered to a paed as son as it's born, problems or not because no-one else would want to take responsibility for doing the newborn check, can't say I blame them! I can imagine me standing over them while they check over every inch of my new baby and heaven help them if they find a heart murmur, I would go to pieces (even though it is ultra common and usually innocent, lol!)

Still, I don't mind the extra bits and pieces, otherwise I would not be due to see the midwife until.........

18 weeks

Blimey, they weren't kidding about having to fend for yourself when it's not your first, lol!

Ceebee, you poor love. Temper tantruming children are not the easiest are they?! The reason you are having another, same as me, it's too late to go back, pmsl! Just kidding. Just think warm little bundle, sweet baby smell, adorable little clothes... Jogging your memory at all?

MrsPuddleduck · 27/03/2008 14:23

My at the thought of a night out has been by the inlaws outlaws coming again next weekend when FIL is here. I think I should be promoted from saint to Martyr LOL! Actually she is going to let me know and has just been really quite shitty with me! DH is fuming.

DS2's party is on Saturday. We have 20 adults and 17 children coming so the stress is starting to set in. We have sorted out the toys to take and I have bought food from Asda this morning. I will be spending the whole of tomorrow making sandwiches!

Kitten update (for those who are interested) - DS1 has now decided that he is going to be called George (was going to be Eddie).

I am definitely o'ving at present so my 2ww starts from here (AF due on 10th April by my reckoning!).

I have had a fab day today, have been putting up 2 blinds and a pair of curtains (bought myself a drill from B&Q and got some odd looks from some Macho blokes!)We decided to paint a "feature wall" in Mulberry blush (dark purple) in the bedroom and it looks lovely. Today is CD5 - had lost interest a little but psyching(sp?) myself up for it again now! Actually I also got a few little things from Ann Summers! (Am a bit but could be fun!!!!)

Right off to make some tea....hmmm

Evening ladies

You have been far too chatty and I have spent far too much time egg hunting on Facebook. The hunt is over now so normal service is resumed.

Hope all PG ladies are OK and everyone else BDing wildly. Do think that FF is not completely reliable so come May we could be just going for it anytime, any place, anywhere.

Have a good evening. I am shattered all the time and not even PG so how I will manage when I am I don't know.

Morning all - have tried to read all your posts whilst been away - but apolgies to anyone that I miss or ask the same questions to!

Budapest was beautiful and we had a fab time! Put on loads of weight by eating all the time and lots of alcohol . Af arrived whilst I was there so I think I wa trying to make up for it iyswim. The only really bad part was flying back into terminal 5 yesterday - 4 hours delayed so arrived at 11pm and at 1am we were still waiting for our luggage . Eventually filled in the form to say it was lost - along with about 400 other passengers. One poor man had waited in the baggage reclaim for over 4 hours . No announcements nothing -and only 2 poor people on customer services to deal with it . Apparently they have been testing the luggage system every day for a month and it has never worked - but yet they still opened the new terminal . Eventuallygot home at 2am! No makeup this morning as packed in the case, no jewellery as packed in the case, and the book that I was halfway through too! Hmm BA are fab

Hc ? FF seems to be giving you problems is there any other sites that you can use to help you chart?

Majormoo ? hope ds conjunctivitius is a bit better now

Ceebee ? well done on getting the first haircut done ? did you get to keep some of the hair?

MJIM ? glad to hear that your scan went well!! ? It is lovely when you get to see them isn?t it! Not so good about the chickenpox ? is he feeling awful or is it quite mild?

HM2J ? oh wow ? you get the midwife to come to you ! If you don?t mind me asking why are you ?red flagged?? Poor ds2 ? sounds awful for him

BB ? well done on the BD?ing even though not feeling great ? v. Impressive!

Off to get dd from grandparents now so will be back on tonight!

xx

majormoo · 28/03/2008 10:24

morning all
Willmouse hope the sandwich making production line is going well. Don't tire yourself out too much with all this preparation for the party-you need your energy you know!!

Carolyn well here's hoping the mulberry bush and Ann Summers stuff does the trick!
HM2J glad you are getting extra checks then. Waiting til 18 weeks to see a midwife otherwise sounds outrageous to me.

Ceebee hope the tantrums have stopped. DD is 4 now and still able to throw some very spectacular ones when the mood takes her.

So what did you think of the Apprentice anyone who watched it (yes I know I am sad and should not spend my evening watching tv but well...)

Hi to everyone else
DS still not better from his cold/eye problems so stuck in again. Usually go a toddler group Friday mornings-I feel like I haven't seen anyone for ages. Fingers crossed by next week he will be better. He yelled from 11pm til 2am last night which was not fun.

majormoo · 28/03/2008 10:27

Bellie glad you enjoyed Budapest. I am stunned at how appalling BA have been. This was supposed to be their flagship new terminal. What an embarrassment. Poor you. Cannot believe your make up and jewellery has gone missing as well.

majormoo · 28/03/2008 10:28

oh hang on-realised you do not have your stuff as it was in the case. I blame it on a sleepless night-brain cells not functioning

Bellie-everyone is in uproar over the new Terminal. What an absolute disaster and it has been said that heads will roll over it. Too right! Hope your things turn up as it is a rotten end to a lovely break. Also hope AF doesn't go with you next time. Re FF-I have read that a basal thermometer is better that the standard child fever one I use so think I will have to invest in one of those to increase the accuracy.

majormoo-lol, I watched the apprentice and then went on to have a dream about Nicholas 'up his own backside' De Lacy Brown but in my dream he was called Bridstock Twonkle Did you watch him on the BBC2 show at 10pm chaired by Adrian Chiles? He looked a tad out of his league.

MJIM-hope the Chicken Pox is much improved and not too much scratching going on.

Heartmum-one of the disappointing bits of my 2nd pregnancy was the lack of visits to the midwife. After the MC I was in a permanent panic and she never bothered listening to the heartbeat when I did see her. Luckily, due to my low lying placenta and the amnio I did get 3 extra scans.

carolyn-great pic BTW. Yay, another Facebook fan. Anne Summers, you little minx.

Waves to everyone else.

Very wet and windy here so struggling to get motivated. Going to search Ebay for a basal thermometer so catch y'as later!
