Ladies - you may now continue the chatting

HC - sorry but I really don't see what the attraction is with Sayid - although those damn aftershave posters of Sawyer all over the place aren't half distracting

Carolyn - do you feel any different? Any symptoms? Friday will be here before you know it

Willmouse - I wouldn't worry about the bike - he won't know. I am not even going to get DS an easter egg (how mean am I?) as he will get one from MIL and one for my sister plus he will eat some of mine and DH's - which I think is more than enough for a 20 month old (that sounds a bit precious doesn't it )

Haircut didn't happen - went in and they couldn't fit us in so have made an appointment for next Tuesday - I was all psyched up for it aswell. I have never seen a customer in that hairdressers until today!

The garage rung this afternoon to tell DH his new car has arrived (we weren't expecting it until 29th) - am so excited as I love new things. Hopefully DH will be able to pick it up on Thursday and we can give it a spin on Friday as we are going to my parents for the day.

Help I cannot keep up either, but I am not testing on Friday , Just v excited to hear about everyone else. Sorry if it sounding as if I was, it would be a miracle as I am CD8, haven't had any sex for a long while! I am with HC and will be having my FET sometime next month, subject to cash flow. I have got pg twice in April so I think it is a good month. So I am armed with OPK's and I have to ring clinic cd7 next cycle.

HC love the Garden! LOL about lying DS, in his weekend book, told his teacher he went to the Pub with Daddy! He has never been to a pub!

MJIM I know those moments when you are tired and are desperate for them to go to bed, I always feel guilty after the event.

Has the Hamster returned?

DS had first haircut at about 5 months, he had a lot of hair and it was weirdly curly on top, so I couldn't grow it long .

Lost with lost, but hope af is still away Ceebee. fingers crossed.

We are going away over Easter and the week after, there is no way I am ever going to keep up, can someone do a crib sheet!

carolyn1941 · 19/03/2008 07:31

sorry soosy - I just read back through the posts and it was my mistake thinking you were testing! whoops! (note to self: must read more slowly in future!)Good luck with the frosties next month

MJIM - sorry you had a rough evening. Sounds like you both need a good nights sleep. Hope you get it tonight.

Nothing to report here. (hamster was found the naughty thing. Worse than any DC I think!). Have managed to hold off testing so far!

BB - sorry you have been . Hopefully we can help make you feel a little better?? Nice to see you back.

Have a great day everyone Cx

Morning all.

Glad your DS is better today Mjob. He has probably caught up on some much needed sleep!

Soosy - hope you have a good holiday. DH is off next week so I only have two half weeks on my own. Today is the last day of nursery so I am enjoying a few moments of solitude before all hell breaks loose!

I really should invite BIL and SIL (and DC's) over for lunch at some time over Easter but can't face it so I am putting off making a call . Last time I spoke to SIL I had a barage of information on how her DD (who is 2 months younger than my DS2) is extremely polite, co-ooperative and spends most of the day doing jigsaws - now I remember why I don't want to see her!

Angel2008 · 19/03/2008 10:30

Morning

HC I agree, I have had a thing for Sayeed ever since Lost started! Oh and Sawyer too

MJIM, glad DS has come out of his mood (he sounds as bad as me!!)

Carolyn, I feel exactly the same as you. There is a post on MN about people who have got BFPs 8 days after ovulation, so I am tempted to test before Friday?? Although my AF isn't due until Monday. And that's assuming my cycle is 28 days again. I don't feel any different at all and I will be gutted if I get a BFN, but I suspect that will be the case.

BB, hope you feel better, think it will be my turn to be depressed next week - wwahhhh!!

Bellie · 19/03/2008 11:43

Morning all - glad to hear that your ds slept better MJIM. DD is going the other way!! She loves looking at her books and we had to go up 3 times last night to ask her to turn her light out - an hour and half after she had gone to bed! . And she woke really early this morning and is full of beans!!

Hope you are going somewhere nice Soosy so you can relax in time for your frosties!

Willmouse I know what you mean about the solitude - dd has nearly 4 weeks holiday from nursery I am not sure when I will find time to mn!!

Not much to report here again cd 22 - this 2ww seems to be going really slowly this time!

Oh I did lose another 1lb - taking the grand total to 17lbs!! I obviously was really squeezing myself into my clothes, because I don't seem to have dropped a clothes size, but everything is fitting much better now

Angel2008 · 19/03/2008 12:02

OMG 17 lbs is FANTASTIC!!

omg - mjim - has your heart recovered yet?? Please sit down and have a nice cup of tea with lots of choccie biscuits. As hard as it is ,please don't dwell on the what if's - he is safe with you now.

Angel2008 · 19/03/2008 12:36

OMG. S*it. Are you okay??

What did you say to DS? Maybe a good telling-off? So sorry if I am speaking out of turn - but I would not want you to go through that again?? Hope you are okay.

Glad DS is safe although I feel kind of shaken up myself now!

MrsPuddleduck · 19/03/2008 12:47

Mjim - you have my sympathies. DS1 has some sort of death wish where roads are concerned. Only yesterday he ran ahead of me and when I shouted him to stop at the kerb he completely ingorned me and ran across a relatively busy road. Thankfully nothing was coming.

When I pick him up from nursery school I have to close the school gate with pushchair in tow and usually in the time it takes me to do thathe runs off. If I don't scream at him like a fishwife all the way home he is completely out of control most days .

I have come to the conclusion that the only real alternative is one of those wrist straps but as I have never used one I don't want to start now.

ceebee74 · 19/03/2008 15:44

Belgian ? so sorry that you are feeling so but don?t feel bad about spreading your bad mood ? that is what we are here for. Hope you pick up again soon and get back on the TTC bandwagon

MJIM ? OMG, how are you feeling now? How scary for you and DS ? and it is so hard not to go through the ?what ifs? isn?t it?

Soosy ? have a fab time on holiday ? hope the sun shines for you and you will come back all relaxed just in time for your Frosties.

Willmouse ? I hate those competitive parents ? my friend is one of those. We had Ds?s within a month of each other (my Ds is older) and she is always saying ?ooh X can count to 3? knowing full well that my DS can?t cos he is a crap talker. Apparently, when she found out my DS was crawling at 7 months, she told another acquaintance that she was going to go home and drag X up onto his hands and knees and get him going (and I think she was only half joking ). Having babies close together is not always a good thing is it?

Bellie ? 17lbs ? wow, well done That is fantastic (can you enjoy a little bit of chocolate over Easter now?)

Still no AF and now on CD 37 ? am definitely going to test on Friday but still think it is going to be negative. Do you think I should go to the doctors if AF doesn?t appear or wait a while to see if it appears next month?

Going out for tea tonight to a lovely Italian restaurant near work ? someone is retiring. I love love love Italian food. Am on a training course tomorrow so will no doubt stink of garlic ? pity the poor person sat next to me

So much for trying to restrict DS's easter eggs - my sis has just sent me a text saying her 3 children insisted on buying DS an easter egg each so that will be more for me and DH to eat then

How busy??????????????

Sorry to bore re Lost but ceebee, how can you not want to jump into Naveen Andrews' swimming pool like brown eyes???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Oh, and shag the pants off him.

Had a +ive OPK today on CD12 so if I OV on day 14 don't know how I ended up with 2 girls as did everything right the last 2 times.

Will read posts later as not speaking to DH as he has annoyed me intensely last night then expected to have some fun in bed. Not likely !

Girls are having their tea so time for a glass of wine which is now £5.19 a bottle!

carolyn1941 · 19/03/2008 17:13

hi all. OMG about the DS and car incident. My heart went just reading it! Hope you have calmed down now MJIM

Well done on the weightloss Bellie. That's brilliant! keep it up!

Angel - the waiting is killing me! I have absolutely no symptoms of either AF or BFP so am trying to prepare for either! Had a lovely talk with DP about it last night and told him I will probably be upset if it's BFN and he said the same. Today is CD28, Friday will be CD30. Last cycle was 31 days but might be something to do woth stopping pill. I guess if it's going to be a BFP it will be by Friday??

Ceebee - if you get BFN on Friday I reckon you would be justified in a quick trip to GP, that would be quite a long cycle wouldn't it? Just to put your mind at rest if nothing else.

HC - are you on the wine already? It's 5 o clock!!!!! LOL Bloody brilliant!

willmouse - ooooo yes I know what you mean about the competeitve parnets. Am determined NOT to be like that! Just ignore them!

MrsPuddleduck · 19/03/2008 17:26

HC - which one is Naveen Andrews? I am a Sawyer fan personally.

Have they put the price of wine up already . I'm sure it wont stop us!

Ceebee - I would definitely book a Drs appointment. I did (and then had to cancel it) and it made me feel a lot better about things knowing that if by day x AF hadn't arrived I had an appointment. Perhaps make one for Monday if you are going to test on Friday?

Well done on the weight loss Bellie. I have been desperately trying to lose a bit of weight this week to compensate for Easter.

Just worked out I am on CD10 today (I lose interest at the start of the month).

MrsPuddleduck · 19/03/2008 17:30

Try ignoring your SIL - can't get away from the bloody woman. If she was a 'friend' she would have been dropped years ago (iyswim).

Not only is she competative with her children (which I find particularly vulgar) she is competative in real life as well and is always ramming down our throats eg the fact that they are going on a 5* holiday to greece. They have also recently purchased a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom 'executive' property on an 'exclusive' estate. She makes me want to vomit

She is really rude as well and DH and I can't work out whether or not it is intentional.

I think I will avoid her at Easter.

Rant over.

Hey ceebee

MJIM-blimey, how utterly terrifying for you.

Bellie-17 lb is fantastico! Very well done-are you going for the 2 stone?

ceebee-I would say to ring the GP if nothing has happened by Monday.

willmouse-it is true that you can choose your friends but not your family.

Hi to everyone I have missed-will be having an early night due to lack of sleep last night with being annoyed with DH.

HC

Bellie · 19/03/2008 20:23

Yes HC - I am going for the 2 stone that the gp told me I needed to lose (tbh she just gave me the kick up the backside that I needed )

ceebee - are you in pain - not seen your thread about the ep - but will search for it now, if you are in any doubt go to the docs now. . However I got a BFP on the day period was due when I had my ep but I know not everyone does.

Willmouse - good for you - enjoy easter rather than fuming all the time - bank holidays come around so infrequently.

Waves to everyone else as off to find ceebee's thread xx

HumphreysCorner · 19/03/2008 20:27

Oh, ceebee-I'm off to find your thread too. {{xx}}
