@curliegirlie DH loves me talking to his mum it's when I'm with my mum he gets a bit 'bored' shall we say. We don't go to bed at same time either it's a wonder I've ever had kids 😂

Got my procedure done under local this week. Took it like a boss 💪 she got the biopsy and everything. I'd defo recommend local I was up prancing about 10 mins later with water squirting outta me 😂

@MrsJGrealish well done you brave lady 👏👏

LuckyMoonstone · 30/09/2023 20:33

@curliegirlie if your positive is today then you could even push it to tomorrow if you don’t get to DTD tonight. No chance of sweet talking DH tonight? We like our separate bed times too which is why we have to schedule romantic time as DH calls it 😂

curliegirlie · 01/10/2023 11:31

Sadly last night we were at a party and conked out pretty much immediately when we got to bed and nothing this morning either. On the one hand it's pretty gutting but on the other I guess at least I won't be spending the TWW torturing myself about lines...

bringmearainbow · 03/10/2023 10:18

@curliegirlie ahhh lovely I'm sorry this cycle hasn't worked out at all it's really frustrating . Have you managed to get to the bottom of his man sulk?

@TheBirdintheCave how you feeling?

I decided to take a PT this morning just to see where I might be starting from and it was the faintest line that appeared after about 10 mins which isn't bad for 6 days after passing everything. I'm hopeful that might be gone by next week 🙏🏼I have an appointment with a reproductive endocrinologist at the end of the month so hopefully she can help with my thyroid from a TTC and pregnancy perspective it says in her blurb it's one of her areas of interest 🤞🏼 then I've got another app with my gynae to see how she wants to go forward too. I think it will be a month or two before we can TTC again which will be really weird to not try

TheBirdintheCave · 03/10/2023 10:39

@MrsJGrealish Well done for getting through it! <3 When will you get the results?

@curliegirlie I'm sorry dtd didn't pan out this month :( I hope you enjoyed the party though!

@bringmearainbow I am so sick :( Still haven't vommed but the nausea is utterly relentless unless I'm eating. I will be the size of a blimp soon 😭 I registered with the midwife so waiting on a letter from them for my booking in appointment and also booked a private scan for 10+2 along with a NIPT if we get that far. I'm managing the anxiety a lot better than I was expecting. Not sure why. The days just seem to be crawling though. Still only 7+5.

I'm really glad the line seems to be going quicker this time and that you have some moving forward appointments on the calendar.

curliegirlie · 03/10/2023 11:20

@bringmearainbow to be honest, it's probably most likely that he's a bit run down and lacking energy at the moment, rather than continuing a silly strop. Everything's all felt a bit relentless since the start of term and we've both had lots on at work.

I'm still feeling crap about it (very much feeling my end of the year deadline and not feeling optimistic about getting anywhere. I've had 20 cycles of this, what's going to be so different/special about the next few months...). The whole TTC thing has also been affecting me at work, as I'm just finding it tricky to concentrate on things. I've just had a rather awkward meeting with my LM where she was pulling me up about aspects of my organisation. Makes me feel about 14 rather than 41....(not blaming her, more my inability to adult at the mo).

Sorry for casting a downer on things.
I'm glad your lines are disappearing nicely.

MrsJGrealish · 03/10/2023 11:41

@TheBirdintheCave do you know I was that elated getting through it I never even asked 🤦‍♀️ I've a review apt in a few months and my bf is my gp receptionist so she's able to access the results if I need. It was uncomfortable, a bit nippy but with my past medical history I'd give it a 0.1 outta 10 on the pain scale. Can't believe I worried so much. Dr (female may I add 🙌🏼) says the tissue looks healthy I caught an image of a red dot but whether that was before or after the biopsy I don't know.

Glad you're doing well ❤️

Scared today. Currently 8+3 and I had a tiny bit of pink in my CM last night. I've written to the EPU but they'll probably just tell me to go away 😭 I was doing so well and being so positive about it all. I can't lose this one too 😭

curliegirlie · 08/10/2023 11:28

Hugs @TheBirdintheCave hopefully that's just one of those random things. I completely understand the anxiety though. Keep an eye on it and phone EPU if it continues Flowers

calimc83 · 08/10/2023 17:28

@TheBirdintheCave oh lovely 😕 how u doing?? x

TheBirdintheCave · 08/10/2023 18:24

@curliegirlie @calimc83 I've had nothing else since and no cramps or anything 🤷🏻‍♀️ Still got sore boobs and awful nausea. Starting to wonder if I imagined the whole thing. I wish I'd kept the paper to check in daylight. EPU are going to scan me on Wednesday but I don't think they're happy about it 😂

calimc83 · 08/10/2023 21:39

@TheBirdintheCave oh that's a relief...at least they're going to scan you. Who gives a f**k what they think, it's for your peace of mind 😘 xx

TheBirdintheCave · 08/10/2023 21:59

@calimc83 Yeah it's very bizarre. I did do some gardening yesterday so maybe it was a tiny cervical bleed from that? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I hope it never comes back and the baby is still present and correct on Weds 🙏🏻

calimc83 · 08/10/2023 22:26

@TheBirdintheCave yeah it could easily have been that..will be thinking about you Wednesday. All will be fine xx

bringmearainbow · 09/10/2023 11:34

@TheBirdintheCave how are you this morning? Glad the EPU have got you in though hopefully it was just a bit of strenuous gardening 🤞🏼

TheBirdintheCave · 09/10/2023 11:57

@bringmearainbow Still no more this morning and still feel horrendous so fingers crossed it's all still ok. How are you doing? <3

bringmearainbow · 09/10/2023 12:03

@TheBirdintheCave ahhh that's good. Those cervix's have a lot to answer for sometimes 😳 I'm ok got a negative test on Saturday 9 days after it all passed. I did a private thyroid blood test this morning should get results in a couple of days and then I'm seeing the gynae on Thursday to see what she wants to do going forward. The withdrawal from the steroids has been awful though 🙈 she didn't tell me I needed to taper off them so I just stopped taking them then wondered why I felt so crappy 🙄

TheBirdintheCave · 09/10/2023 12:23

@bringmearainbow Amazing that you've got a negative so quickly. Small mercies. I never thought about steroids having withdrawal. It doesn't sound pleasant. Sorry you had to go through that on top of everything else :(

Thursday's not too far away now!

bringmearainbow · 09/10/2023 12:40

@TheBirdintheCave I didn't either and tbf I wasn't having a big dose but it still affected me when I stopped taking them 🙄 maybe I'm just sensitive 😂 no it's not too far I think she'll just prescribe me the same really as there are no answers until the testing comes back. I'm not seeing the thyroid doctor until 31st. Then after that I'm having an op on my elbow because I can fit that in now 🙈 I'll have to tell hubby to pull out this month 🤣

TheBirdintheCave · 09/10/2023 12:42

@bringmearainbow Oh ouch. What happened to your elbow?

bringmearainbow · 09/10/2023 12:46

@TheBirdintheCave I have a trapped ulnar nerve in my elbow which has caused my little and ring fingers to start curling up. If I left it they would curl round completely and be more useless than they already are. I cant actually feel them the whole left side of my hand and fingers are numb. Body is broken 😂

TheBirdintheCave · 09/10/2023 12:47

@bringmearainbow That's really scary :O I hope they manage to sort it out!

bringmearainbow · 09/10/2023 12:49

@TheBirdintheCave surgeon said it's an easy fix but it could take quite a long time for them to get feeling back and uncurl again as the nerve has been trapped for years. I just thought I had broken them at some point but they have just got worse and worse 🤦🏼‍♀️ note to self don't leave anything unusual
