@bringmearainbow yep. So many people I had to tell that the max safe TSH level was under 2 for TTC and pregnancy 🙄 not the standard 4. Do you know they never upped my thyroxine dosage for DD1? I just stayed at 50mg. Then was up to 75 when pregnant with DD2 and have been at that ever since. No idea what my exact TSH levels are currently- my GP receptionist just says "it's fine" rather than stating any actual figures.

TheBirdintheCave · 30/10/2023 14:05

@bringmearainbow Midwife said that the consultant will put me on it anyway when I get to that appointment so I may as well take it as it can't hurt.

ExMrsGrealish · 31/10/2023 01:33

@curliegirlie apologises for coming back to you at random time. I'm having a bit of a mare at the mo can't even miscarry properly. It is progesterone but she's a few years old than and has been on it for over 10 years. The male dr refused to give her it in the end, and now I have to laugh at her here, she bypassed him and went to a sympathetic female dr. She's defo in peri and they are worried about bone density. Well the drs are she's no bothered. Keeps getting the depo jabbed in her ass every 12 weeks 😂 man she loves that jab 😂

bringmearainbow · 31/10/2023 10:15

@curliegirlie I've learnt so much about thyroid in the past 2/3 months just doing my own research I would never have thought to question what a doctor said before it's crazy how much they differ 🙄

@TheBirdintheCave well then might aswell take everything that helps 🙊

Got one more test for tomorrow. Bloods being done next week can't go this week I'm too busy! I was walking down the stairs gagging this morning 😂 that's a new one for me esp this early

POAS..the last hurrah 🌈

@bringmearainbow Still looking good 😬

@ExMrsGrealish How're you doing? <3

LuckyMoonstone · 31/10/2023 11:07

Has anybody had anti depressants before? I’ve been prescribed them today. I’m glad I asked, I never did after DS and I think I needed them.

LuckyMoonstone · 31/10/2023 11:07

@bringmearainbow I love seeing those dark pink lines 😁

TheBirdintheCave · 31/10/2023 11:08

@LuckyMoonstone Yes I took Citalopram for years. They really helped though it takes a while for it to build up in your system.

bringmearainbow · 31/10/2023 11:19

@LuckyMoonstone me too not that it means much in my case by still makes me feel better 😂 the only time I had dodgy looking lines was my blighted ovum so hopefully it isn't that again in there 🤞🏼 glad you're getting help when you need it it's v important 😘

@TheBirdintheCave did you hear back from the MH team you got in touch with?

LuckyMoonstone · 31/10/2023 11:23

@TheBirdintheCave I don’t know which ones I’ve been given yet, how do they actually make you feel? Surely you don’t just feel happy all the time.

TheBirdintheCave · 31/10/2023 11:36

@bringmearainbow Nope not yet but the midwife yesterday said she's going to put a referral in as well to add extra weight to it so we'll see what happens.

@LuckyMoonstone No it's not perma happiness, it just balances your mood to an average level if that makes sense and allows you to see positives in things where before you might have just seen negatives.

LuckyMoonstone · 31/10/2023 11:41

@TheBirdintheCave that sounds good, I do go to the negative pretty quickly

TheBirdintheCave · 31/10/2023 11:44

@LuckyMoonstone I was offered them after I had my son and I should have taken them to be honest.

ExMrsGrealish · 31/10/2023 12:26

@LuckyMoonstone I was given sertraline after my stroke. They unfortunately didn't help and made me averse to all things food. I lost a tonne of weight but they help for so many. Just me being me again.

My MH was situational. I managed to crawl back to life. I saw a neuropsychologist. I'm taking amitriptyline atm which helps with my mood and migraines and obviously my appetite. They can make the world of difference, I've seen that firsthand. I actually might go back again, try another one. I feel like I'm struggling a bit now too xx

bringmearainbow · 31/10/2023 15:58

Just seen my new thyroid doc. She thought my last numbers a few weeks ago looked ok. She's upped my levo to one day 75mg one day 100mg and retest in 4 weeks. She said she didn't think my losses looked like they were to do with my thyroid she thought it was more likely a chromosome problem though honestly my thyroid levels were off until very recently so I don't know how she deduced that. We decided a little while ago not to pay for karotyping because if one of the MC they sent off comes back abnormal we will get it on the nhs anyway. Though I don't know how we would of had DS if there was a chromosome dna issue 🤷🏼‍♀️

TheBirdintheCave · 31/10/2023 16:11

@bringmearainbow Yeah I think that's what you have to hang on to. You've had your son successfully so it's unlikely that anything is majorly wrong with your DNA.

bringmearainbow · 31/10/2023 16:16

@TheBirdintheCave yes that was our line of thinking which is why we were not forking out for it 🙈 hopefully our first test comes back v soon 🤞🏼i still can't believe it's taking 6 months 🙄

bringmearainbow · 31/10/2023 16:17

My backache has started today wish wish wish I could have a hot bath 😂

TheBirdintheCave · 31/10/2023 16:22

@bringmearainbow Six months is such a long time for such an important piece of information :(

calimc83 · 31/10/2023 22:50

sorry ladies only just caught up over these last few days worth of posts @MrsJGrealish oh ffs 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm soo so sorry you're going through this again..I'm thinking of you xx @bringmearainbow omg girl...huge but at the same time tentative congratulations 🎉 those lines look great @LuckyMoonstone I hope u are ok lovely?? xx

ExMrsGrealish · 31/10/2023 22:56

@calimc83 ❤️

bringmearainbow · 01/11/2023 06:22

@TheBirdintheCave it is ridiculous really 🙄

@calimc83 thanks lovely I'm not holding my breath but it's a step in the right direction 🤞🏼

Angelselevenx · 01/11/2023 07:00

@bringmearainbow loving seeing your lines progress. I was 8dpo yesterday and had a bit of brown discharge followed by the tiniest bit of light brown later on and then just a tinge of light brown when wiping, awful backache and some AF cramps. AF hasn't ever been this early before, I normally get to 11 dpo and AF shows the next day :(. Not had any spotting this morning though 🤞🏼

bringmearainbow · 01/11/2023 07:09

@Angelselevenx oooh that sounds very promising lovely! I had brown/pink tinged discharge at 9dpo then next day I got nada just went back to normal colour I was really confused 😂 I've never had implantation bleeding before. Backache is usually one of my early signs but that didn't kick in until yesterday. Got everything crossed this is your month 🤞🏼💪🏼 come on lil baby! Is temp still up?

Angelselevenx · 01/11/2023 07:11

@bringmearainbow I don't want to get my hopes up as it could just be annoying af showing early or random mid cycle spotting but this has literally never happened before. I just did a test 9DPO, day after spotting and it's whiter than white 😂😂. How long after spotting did you test positive? Yeah temp is still up! Xx
