Scrolling mumsnet at 4am (thanks insomnia ) and so lovely to see a new thread created @MrsJGrealish 😊 Often think of everyone here, our threads got me through my months of TTC!

So pleased to hear you had a great scan @FfoxRedN and how exciting you have the envelope to open soon. @TheBirdintheCave great news to read your update and glad the transfer went well.

@bunnykins123 how exciting you have your date! That’s not long at all now!

Well I am now 33 weeks 😬 can’t quite believe how quickly it’s gone. Really need to get organised and start buying stuff 😆

calimc83 · 15/07/2023 08:31

@MrsJGrealish oh great, not too long to wait if it's next cycle then. Does day 3 test measure ovulation? @TheBirdintheCave ahh so happy everything went well. How are u feeling?! And when will u test? 😬 I'm currently in the midst of prepping for a colonoscopy today...how grim! On the plus side I've shat out 4 pounds 😆 xx

MrsJGrealish · 15/07/2023 08:36

@emhope so glad you commented lovely!!! 33 weeks not long now ❤️ I hope the last 7 weeks fly in and you are keeping well xx do you know what you're having or is it a surprise? Xx

Used the fertilily for the first time in months. You actually gave me the inspiration for that, I think I read a thread where you had commented on it, on one of my deep dive mumsnet searches 😊

I think the Day 3 test tests most things other than ovulation (coz it's well before ovulation, innit?!), so things like thyroid and some other things that I can't remember, as mine was 9 years ago or something!

LuckyMoonstone · 15/07/2023 09:06

@bunnykins123 my bump is measuring big, but pretty much exactly the same as with DS, above the 90th centile! But baby was just above 50th for weight on my last scan. So I thought that sounded fine, pretty average, but they still commented on how it was a big baby?? Don’t get it! Due 12th September and would totally be ok with it coming as soon as it (safely) wants 😂 has your GD been diet controlled? I’m on metformin now to get my fasting levels down, post-meal levels are all fine without it though.

Yea I'm not sure it does cover O. I'm at work atm but I'll look later to check. I think the day 21 bloods confirm O? It's definitely thyroid, AMH and 8 other things x

@calimc83 yes she’s doing really well. Her little character is starting to come out which is nice to see.

Lovely to see everyone’s updates. Time does seem to fly.

so next baby due will be @bunnykins123 i take it then! 15th august! Not long at all.

honeslty I 100% do not regret having my elective c section. Compared to my so called “natural vaginal” delivery. It was such a walk in the park mentally. 6 weeks out I felt entirely back to normal. And now I’m 3 months pp I’ve got my figure back and my tummy’s gone back flat. And thin line of a scar which just needs to fade.

FfoxRedN · 15/07/2023 11:23

@emhope thanks lovely 🥰. I can't believe you're 33 weeks already!! Xx

@MrsJGrealish I really hope the day 3 tests give you some kind of answer lovely, it's so frustrating nothing can be found so far 😖. I also swear by the fertilily, it was either that or my unfussy uterus that helped each month 🤪. Xx

@bunnykins123 glad to hear it's mostly going well other than their weird measuring techniques,I still don't understand the belly measuring. It must be vastly different for different women! The scans are surely way more accurate. I've attached my 13 week scan below, hope that's ok with everyone.
Based on what I looked at, this could be either way but be interested to see if anyone is right 🤣.

I have been a member of the November due date group, but I just can't get into it. You lot are so much more my MN sisters, it just doesn't compare 😌 xxx

LuckyMoonstone · 15/07/2023 11:52

@FfoxRedN I have considered joining a September group but I just don’t want to talk to anyone else about it! Ah lovely pic 😊 wish I could guess boy or girl but I have no clue just by looking haha

TheBirdintheCave · 15/07/2023 12:59

@FfoxRedN I'm going to guess girl too :) It's going to be such a special moment when you open that envelope!

@calimc83 Not too confident today. I just can't imagine it working. Going to test on Tuesday which is equivalent of 9dpo as I think the trigger shot HCG should be well gone by then. It was still there yesterday morning annoyingly but quite faint now.

FfoxRedN · 15/07/2023 13:11

@TheBirdintheCave At least you have something to compare it to though when you do test so that was a very wise move! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 xx

calimc83 · 15/07/2023 13:43

@bunnykins123 ohhh I totally missed your due date somewhere...not long at all now! Eek 😬 I'm in the same boat as @Indianna2006 defo recommend an elective c section over x2 3rd degree tears 😭 @TheBirdintheCave we all have everything crossed for you...I bet the wait to test after IVF to test is absolute torture so will be thinking of you 😘 xx

TheBirdintheCave · 15/07/2023 16:29

I think it's already all over guys. I feel sad and anxious like I did when I had the miscarriages so the embryo must have stopped dividing 😔

curliegirlie · 15/07/2023 17:23

@TheBirdintheCave noooo don't think like that. I know this next week will be hell but hold on....

TheBirdintheCave · 15/07/2023 17:28

@curliegirlie I just have zero hope now. I'll write to the clinic on Monday to see about financing some more transfers. Maybe I can do another transfer next month so I don't have to waste any more time.

bunnykins123 · 15/07/2023 19:43

@emhope thanks hun! We are at exactly the same point in our pregnancies, hope you're doing well?

@MrsJGrealish this one was a fertilily baby. I had to bin it the other day as DD had raided my side drawer and was playing with it alongside her dolly's 🤦‍♀️

@LuckyMoonstone I have opted for an elective c section. DD was 10lbs when born so knew chances of thing one being big too were fairly likely! So this one will come at 38 weeks (unless I go into labour before). Mines the same - high for fasting but seem to be fine throughout the day 🤷‍♀️ I'm going to try and reduce it naturally but I guess if it doesn't work, will have to go on the meds. How have you been finding them? I have a big bump and babe is on the 97th percentile so we can conclude this baby will likely be big 😂

@Indianna2006 @calimc83 I am totally with you on that - the 15th is my c section date. DD took 52 hrs to come so I wanted to skip through all that and just have it all planned. I have a lot of friends who also say the same that it worked really well for them!

@FfoxRedN oh I totally agree. They have y measured my bump once this pregnancy - there is no need to given I'm having loads of scans (and know he's big). My bump with DD was slightly above average and I had a 10lber 😂 firstly, cuuuute baby!!! There isn't any gender clues really and I'm not sure if babes bottom isn't completely visible so not sure you are seeing the whole area clearly. Given the nub looks slightly raised, I'll roll with a boy guess! I was going to join the August group but decided against it too!

@TheBirdintheCave I think the way you are feeling is totally natural. But try to stay positive - I do understand that's probably easier said than done. Are you on any other meds at the moment to support pregnancy such as progesterone or steroids?

MrsJGrealish · 15/07/2023 20:04

@bunnykins123 🙈🙈🙈 what part did the fertilily play 😂😂 that's too funny 😄

@FfoxRedN still saying girl! I am however notoriously wrong for this 😂

@TheBirdintheCave I'm sorry you're feeling stressed 🙁 maybe do enquire if it makes you feel any more relaxed?

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 15/07/2023 20:05

@bunnykins123 Just Lutigest which I have to take three times a day 🙄 I don't feel like it's doing anything though. I noticed more symptoms when I was on the Cyclogest for the miscarriages.

Lutigest does give me INSANE dreams though 😂

bunnykins123 · 17/07/2023 08:38

@MrsJGrealish god knows, but her dolls were lined up and the fertilily was bang smack in the middle of the all. I didn't ask - in hindsight, I should have taken a picture as it was very funny but I'm not sure that's one's for the family photo album!

@TheBirdintheCave I've never heard of that one. Is it a pessary? I LOVE progesterone fuelled dreams. I've had the best ones recently. So much so, that I want to go back to sleep to find out what happens 😂 how are you feeling today?

TheBirdintheCave · 17/07/2023 08:47

@bunnykins123 Yeah an annoying three times a day pessary 🙄 Glad to hear other people have had the weird dreams! Last nights crazy dream featured a woman with two children, one was a baby with bright blue hair and the other was a girl who was called Yennefer after the character from The Witcher. She shouted at me because I had Gil's pram just a smidge in her way.

TheBirdintheCave · 17/07/2023 09:36

May have caved and tested just now on a 2.5 hour hold and have a faint BFP... but I don't have any way of knowing if it's still from the trigger shot until I test tomorrow and see if it's darker 😑How anticlimactic 😂Trigger was 10.5 days ago so it can't still be that... can it?

bringmearainbow · 17/07/2023 09:55

@TheBirdintheCave 🤞🏼 I've think trigger lasts about 10 days from what I've seen other people say 🤔 so that sounds very promising

TheBirdintheCave · 17/07/2023 10:00

@bringmearainbow I tested on Saturday afternoon to see if it had gone and the line was as faint as it is now BUT it was also fairly dilute pee. Sigh. I wish I'd been more scientific about this and repeated the tests only under the same conditions.

I also feel very sick but guess that could be the progesterone 🙄

MrsJGrealish · 17/07/2023 10:34

So apparently FRER are discontinued??

OP posts:
bringmearainbow · 17/07/2023 10:40

@TheBirdintheCave the waiting is really the worst 🙄

@MrsJGrealish what discontinued 😳 how can they even do that to us 🤷🏼‍♀️
