For gods sake my cervix is still fully closed, literally no change from last week. I’ve been having all of these cramps and tightenings and pressure for so long now, and none of it has done a single thing physically?!?!

TheBirdintheCave · 07/09/2023 17:51

@LuckyMoonstone You've obviously made a very comfy home for that little one! 😂 What's the plan now?

LuckyMoonstone · 07/09/2023 17:56

@TheBirdintheCave talk to the consultant on Monday about scheduling an induction (or not, I don’t know how urgent it is if my blood sugars are under control).

TheBirdintheCave · 07/09/2023 19:06

@LuckyMoonstone Ah ok so there's still the weekend for some development! Fingers crossed baby is on the move naturally before then :)

LuckyMoonstone · 07/09/2023 19:09

@TheBirdintheCave I just don’t feel hopeful at all anymore 😢

MrsJGrealish · 07/09/2023 19:47

@curliegirlie that was the miscarriage were I met you lovely ladies virtually ❤️

@LuckyMoonstone don't give up hope! Or do the rod thing. I did have a quick google yesterday sounds as good as induction can get..

I'm discussing my options next Thursday, whatever the F that means. They are refusing to do GA because of my medical history. Anaesthetist took one look at my history and went no chance by all accounts. I think I'll allow myself to be talked into local with sedation. I need sedation. I'm such a chicken 🐓 🙈

TheBirdintheCave · 07/09/2023 22:15

@MrsJGrealish I had a sedation for my egg collection and that was really good. I don't remember a thing about it so must have been asleep the whole time.

Sorry you can't just be knocked out though ☹️

calimc83 · 08/09/2023 07:54

@TheBirdintheCave how are u doing lovely? Fwiw those tests look really good. I would also advise to step away for the tests or try at least to leave a few days in between to let your HCG levels rise @LuckyMoonstone the only thing thats ever worked for me is lots of walking...good luck! Being heavily pregnant in this heat can't be fun 😅 xx

TheBirdintheCave · 08/09/2023 10:37

@calimc83 I'm ok. Still terrified but I'm not going to test for a few days now. Maybe 18dpo which is Monday. That should give me a good idea of which way it's going. Still not many symptoms to speak of. Boobs are a little sore on the sides and I have some nausea in the morning. The bloat is the worst thing though 🤦🏻‍♀️

TheBirdintheCave · 09/09/2023 10:03

Obvs caved this morning as I'm a POAS addict 😅 Just a little bit off control dark and 2-3 weeks on the digi 🥰

@TheBirdintheCave yessssss so glad to hear 🙌

bunnykins123 · 09/09/2023 10:37

@TheBirdintheCave that's great news! So happy for you 👏👏

curliegirlie · 09/09/2023 12:40

Wow @TheBirdintheCave those tests look amazing!

TheBirdintheCave · 09/09/2023 12:55

Cheers guys. Fingers crossed this will actually go somewhere now 🙏🏻 I have two tests left (for Monday and Weds) so will stop after I get a dye stealer.

Indianna2006 · 09/09/2023 13:12

@TheBirdintheCave that’s deffo looking good. And 2-3 on digital is nice to see 😁😁

@LuckyMoonstone ugh this baby is very comfy. Just hold out hope it can change any moment and start. I can’t remember if you’ve said before or not. But when you were induced last time and then ended up with a c section. Did you dilate much at all then? Like did you get most the way an then rushed down or did the cervix just never respond?

Also yes a huge bump in this heat!!! 🥵

@MrsJGrealish hopefully they will sedate you a little to make you less anxious.

MrsJGrealish · 09/09/2023 13:18

@TheBirdintheCave lovely news to read 🥰

LuckyMoonstone · 09/09/2023 13:32

@Indianna2006 yeah induced last time and I don’t think I even got past 3cm before DS got distressed. So I feel like I’ve got something wrong with me and my body will just never ever labour properly no matter how many times I get pregnant 😕

Indianna2006 · 09/09/2023 14:57

@LuckyMoonstone ahh it’s so hard. Well you progressed some though and tbf obv when they monitor you they know baby is in distress and intervene early and a labour which is not monitored. So doesn’t mean you couldn’t have gone further either. Not like it stopped progressing and that’s why you went down for one which can sometimes happen.

some people’s bodies don’t seem to go into labour naturally very well. But as your cervix has dilated a little before I still think you’ve got a good chance of it doing it. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Either way what happens. Don’t be too hard on yourself. All our bodies are different and respond differently. But it’s hard when you have your heart set on it ♥️

Indianna2006 · 09/09/2023 14:59

@bunnykins123 how is little baby boy? And how are you recovering from your elective surgery?

LuckyMoonstone · 09/09/2023 15:01

@Indianna2006 ah thank you, that is true what you’ve said, things could have been different I suppose! I think becuse of what happened before, I’m a little bit more accepting of the fact that it doesn’t always go to plan and it’s ok to accept help if necessary

Indianna2006 · 09/09/2023 15:13

@LuckyMoonstone 100%! And I think in every labour unless it was “perfect” and straight forward which i presume is only a small portion of women. I think you always thinks could it have gone different if x,y,z. Which is of done so and so. We’re too hard on ourself as women. An I understand the want to allow your body to try do what is intended for it to do naturally.

But the end result is the same right. A healthy baby. And hopefully healthy mum. No one gets a trophy for one way over another. Means to an end ♥️

hopefully they make an exit soon 🤞🏼😘😘 it’s exciting!

tbh I’m already a bit jealous I won’t get to do this baby business again 😂 even if the whole thing is stressful. but I’m deff not having three haha.

calimc83 · 10/09/2023 15:45

@TheBirdintheCave ohh amazing news lovely, so happy for you 🥰 xx

TheBirdintheCave · 10/09/2023 16:15

@calimc83 Thanks :) I still don't think it will work out as I have zero symptoms right now. Convinced myself it's already died 😂

calimc83 · 10/09/2023 16:49

@TheBirdintheCave with my very first 2 successful pregnancies I had zero symptoms xx

TheBirdintheCave · 10/09/2023 16:54

@calimc83 I had nausea by now with G according to my pregnancy diary so feeling nothing is probably a really bad sign for me :(
