oh coolkat I really hope that your BFP sticks around.

Some sticky dust from my brother, who's GF is 9 weeks and a bit, so they have some early dust left over. When they are ready, I will add some more mature dust for you, but I had better leave some with them for now.

Well my body is being V strange. Ripening follicles, creating stretchy stuff, though not EWCM I don't think. Raising my cervix and all far too early Norm ov CD17 it is only CD12 for me?
And I ran out of opks and, in a bid to be more relaxed, have bought no more. So now I am going daft and waiting every morning to see what temp I have.
Got in a sneaky BD last night even though DH was knackered. Faced with the evidence, he could not resist though he swears it was not a BD BD but purely for fun, I know better, but don't care!!Well, will see what happens in the morn but may grab him again tommorrow anyway. He is one happy man at this time of the month But then endures the 2ww almost as badly as me! Defo takes the BFN's as bad. Ach they're not bad really. At least not all the time anyway
Time to stop the crazy late night posting and Go To Bed!

JollyBear · 29/02/2008 09:25

Morning all,

GG Your arguement with your DH sounds horrible . It is just lashing out though and hopefully the Drs appointment will help. Hope you are looking after yourself as well as your DH.

P&M You must be so of your BF! I'm not surprised you've been feeling a bit low about it all.

Mibbes What a great Dr! I think we all want to see her I'm really pleased she took you seriously.

ei What a naughty sister! You are so lovely though doing so much for her especially with your DD, work and studying!!

coolkat I hope those bloods are wrong. As ei says they can be faulty.

Thanks P&M, MOB and all who wished me good luck with my scan. I'm happy to say that everything was fine and the Drs are happy for me to carry on TTC . Phew!! He actually said we should get on with it! I didn't like to say that we HAVE been getting on with it . My temps haven't risen either but I had EWCM yesterday so the bd'ing starts tonight .

Hello to everyone else!

Bucky2008 · 29/02/2008 10:06

Just dropping in before I do a mad clean up. Have the day off today to do some DIY and cleaning before I go to France for the weekend.

Coolcat , can't believe they won't do a second blood test to be sure their results are right . You must be feeling awful...feel free to be as sad as you like and we are happy to listen, but then you know that

I think I am probably out again this month. I did BD on CD10 and CD14 but then DP got called away for work. Not sure when I ov but it will have happened now. To be honest I have kind of mentally given up. I like checking in here and finding out how everyone is doing, but actually having a baby of my own isn't something that ever crosses my mind as something that is going to happen anymore. Not that I dwell on it not happening either hard to explain. I guess its a bit like breaking an arm, it could happen but you don't spend all day thinking it will or that it won't even if you are doing something that means it could happen, like climbing..... I sound like a weirdo now, hope you all know what I mean....

Anyway, have a good weekend girls and hope anyone who is testing gets good news.

xx

scully · 29/02/2008 10:20

Hope everything is ok Coolcat, when do you see your dr again? Surprising they don't want to do more bloodtests though, to check your levels again, or scan you?
Enjoy France Bucky, I am envious about that, used to love going over there

GryffinGirl · 29/02/2008 10:21

Jolly - that is wonderful news about your scan and TTC! So pleased! You and DH must be thrilled (and excited). So, go and do what the good doctor says and get BD-ing

coolkat - I am so sorry to hear the inconclusive blood test . You must be very concerned and you can sgare anything on here - we are with you every step. I am sending you lots of virtual ((((((hugs)))))) and support, m'dear.

Bucky - I could have written that paragraph about mentally giving up on ever getting PG. I don't live in expectation every month and symptom spot like I did six months ago, but I love everyone on here and don't want not to be on here if that makes sense . I haven't given up all hope of ever getting a BFP, but I think now it will come as a shock if it ever does happen to me rather than the culmination of an exciting waiting game.

Also vive La France Buck-ster! Have a lovely weekend and make sure you stock up lots of lovely on Duty Free vin rouge et vin blanc!

Well, AF turned up yesterday for me, 2 days early. Hardly surprising after DH's results and a slow BD-ing month due to DH exhaustion - I was waiting for it to appear . It was a slow starter though - maybe once I would have convinced myself it was an implantation bleed. My periods used to go from nowt to full flow immediately, but I have noticed that the last few months I get brown spotting for a day before the red stuff comes (sorry for TMI ). Maybe I'm getting old .

Hello to everyone else on the thread and congratulations to AM! hatty mibbes MOB - what news with you ladies?

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

MrsPuddleduck · 29/02/2008 10:26

Sorry about your news Coolkat - I can't believe how completely unsympathetic health professionals can be over these things. I don't think they realise the mental torment people are going through. I really hope that you get a positive outcome to all of this.

Bucky - I know exactly what you mean. It is something you want so desperately that you never think its going to happen. The problem with TTC is that it is frustrating as you have no control over it whatsoever. With most things you want in life you can go out and buy them or arrange them but with TTC it is all down to luck and you feel so helpless that you can't do a single bloody thing to just make it happen. Try not to get too down.

mibbes · 29/02/2008 10:37

willmouse am intrigued as to how football extra time has prevented catching the egg...! I assume DH prioritised footie above BD - I know the feeling
PicknMix lovely to hear from you missus but sorry to hear it is all getting to you. I think there is a lot to be said for taking a step back from MN and ttc in general. I have been surprised at how quickly I have got to CD 8 as have not been obsessively counting like usual and I forgot to take temp the other day for the firat time (am usually obsessive about that too) and we BD'd for fun the other day too . I really do appreciate that I have been really lucky with my GP - I hope those of you who have had less sympathetic GPs weren't annoyed at me raving about her though as I know from MN it is like getting blood from a stone getting any tests done with some of them.
coolkat so sorry about blood test - did GP explain why no point in doing more tests ? So sorry s/he has left you in limbo like this
JollyBear fab news about scan and even better news that you haven't missed the egg - hurray, get busy lady !
Bucky sorry you are feeling so negative about this month's chances and about getting PG in general. Did you not go to GP recently to get tests done ? Are you just waiting to see the outcome of those ? {{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}

Well I am off on holiday next week - going to book last minute week in the sun and hopefully have quite an active holiday. I plan to spend lots of QT with DP and get loads of BDing in - and the added bonus is the egg is due when we are away so hopefully some R&R will do the trick . GP actually said that I had increased my chances of BFP by booking in for tests as she said so many people start investigations, relax and then hey presto ! (Bucky I am desperately hoping that logic works for you too this month ) TBH I do think the pre-AF spotting has to be fixed before I have a real chance but that won't stop me obsessing and symptom spotting in 10 days time!

mibbes · 29/02/2008 10:38

Ei so sorry I missed you from mammoth post - you must be past ov by now ...? Any symptoms hun ? You'd best not help your sister out just in case ... xxx

madoldbird · 29/02/2008 11:54

Just a quick post to say that AF got here this morning

Bad day all round, DH had a bad car accident this morning, he's fine, but very nearly wasn't. Totally other person's fault Just taking him to the dr in a minute as his shoulder is a bit stiff. Will be back later to catch up on news. Sorry i haven't read posts properly.

pinkgirl30 · 29/02/2008 11:57

so sorry mob about your horrible day.
glad that dh is ok
hope that dh gets on ok @ drs

twinklingfairy · 29/02/2008 12:08

oh god how awful mob
Big cuddles for your DH I think.
Must have been a scary moment for him.
Hope you can enjoy a good weekend together to help get over it.

Doesn't the old witch just have fantastic timing

GryffinGirl · 29/02/2008 12:32

MOB - thinking of you and fingers crossed that DH is absolutely fine. AF turned up for me too, so we can be together.

let us knwo how you go.

mibbes · 29/02/2008 13:35

MOB so sorry she got you and what a rubbish start to the day , {{{{{hugs}}}}} Glad DH is ok - you'll just have to give each other big hugs all day.
GG (cross-posted earlier) sorry she turned up missus and sorry to hear you too are feeling quite resigned to not getting BFP like Bucky - as long as you keep trying there is always a chance - fingers crossed. Any developments with DH or are you avoiding the subject until he is ready ? Sending you {{{{{hugs}}}}} too xx

GryffinGirl · 29/02/2008 13:48

mibbes - no developments with DH. I haven't raised it again and won't until Tuesday night after the GP appointment when there is something more to discuss. DH likes to deal in hard facts and professional recommendations, so I'll show I still love him lots and leave him be until then.

have a lovely weekend everyone!

serendippity · 29/02/2008 14:04

madoldbird crikey sorry to hear about the crash! and aF arriving.
pinkgirl any news?
EIwishfor3morewishes thanks for the welcome
Have i got the hang of the bold typing?!

Bucky2008 · 29/02/2008 14:40

MOB Hope Madoldbloke feels better soon. And tell TEW 'threes a crowd you old cow....hmm]. GG , keep going girl...

Thanks for everyone's words of encouragement. I am not down at all, honestly. That's just the point, I feel a bit numb about the whole thing now. Not sad really .

coolkat · 29/02/2008 15:53

Hi

Nice to se its been busy on here and a few 'lurkers' apearing!!

Just a quick one as DH going away for weekend so spending time with him before he goes but I will catch up prop. over weekend.

Doctor really done my nut, she says as we got to home definate BFP no need for test, I said even though the bloods did not show high levels and to put my mind at rest but apparently not. Just really annoyed as would it hurt to have had a blood test today got the results monday and then known that everything was going ok rather than to have planted even more seeds of uncertainty in my head by saying she needs to have a chat.

Its going to be a long wait as going to see her tues morning and DH coming as we both want reassurance and a blardy blood test.

Sorry for rant, catch you later!!

coolkat · 29/02/2008 15:54

Thinking of asking for a refund on my taxes, surely have paid enough for a blood test!

JollyBear · 29/02/2008 16:42

Thanks mibbes and GG, I'm just so relieved about my health in general really and of course ttc . I can tell DH now that bd'ing is Dr's orders .

GG Sorry to hear AF has arrived . I hope you've got a relaxing weekend planned.

MOB How awful for you and DH, and AF on top of that . I hope he feels OK. It is such a shock though, isn't it? Hope you are both going to take it easy too.

Bucky How lovely to be nipping across to France. Have a great time.

mibbes A week in the sun, I'm ! What a bonus to be ov too!! I nearly forgot to do my temp the other day. Hope we can symptom spot together when you get back!

coolkat That is just mental cruelty. Try and see a different GP, they might be more forthcoming. Hope you get another test.

Have a great weekend all!

madoldbird · 29/02/2008 17:05

Hi everyone

Thanks for all your hugs and kind words. It means a lot. DH is ok - stiff & sore & on lots of ain killers, but otherwise ok. Car is a total write off. Trouble is, he is now "madoldgrumpybloke" and has been snapping at me. Guess i'll just give him a bit of space.

First of all - congrats to scully & mummya nice to hear some good news! best of luck to you both.

Welcome to artichokes, willmouse & serendipity JB wonderful news!! So pleased for you now get BDing!!!!

picknmix really good to "see" you. I can understand why you've been away - after all i did the same thing recently - but always know that you can come on here and rant or say what ever you like. Do stick around.

coolkat what a stupid doctor! Hold on to the fact that you have had BFP's. Perhaps continue doing them, if you feel like it (& can afford it, of course) It may be very early days, which is why the levels are low. I can't understand why he is not repeating them - i always understood that it was a rise that was important, not necessarily the figure itself as that can vary so much. Do look after yourself.

Bucky have a lovely weekend. i can understand what you are saying about a baby seeming less and less of a "real" prospect, but don't give up hope. It can and will happen!!

Mibbes hope you have a wonderful week away. Enjoy - and BD like mad!!!
GG Sorry AF is with you as well. Are you having a large glass of wine later? I am. I loved what you said about just showing your DH that you love him lots. Get on and enjoy each other - the "conversation" can wait a few days, until he has the facts he wants.

EI thanks for filling me in about the stuff with your sister - i was just being lazy not going to the other thread to look!!

Hi to everyone i haven't mentioned - brain is a bit addled today.

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 01/03/2008 00:17

bfn @ 12pm yest cd 35 no af
going to test mon morn if no af then

digitalgirl · 01/03/2008 13:45

Hello ladies,

Just wanted to pop in to say how pleased I am to hear JB has been given the official ttc go ahead! Good luck!!

Coolkat congrats on your BFP, it must be hard not to worry especially after your last BFP...but there are plenty of women on here who've had low hCG counts or counts that haven't doubled as they're supposed to and then gone on to have successful pregnancies. Sometimes the less you know the less you have to worry about.

GG Thinking of you...

Bucky Bring me back some brie!

Big waves to PnM, ei, MOB, mibbles, hatty and all the newbies on here.

No news on when my next scan is, hoping to hear early next week. I've been very lucky not to have suffered from bad MS or much of the crippling fatigue that lots of the others on the Due in Sep thread have had. It also means I've been wondering if i'm still PG, so am really looking forward to that scan. In the meantime I'm continuing to eat loads and make the effort to look pg.

DG x

Morning all,

What a quiet weekend it has been on here!

Thanks DG great to see you. Try not to fret too much. Digibean must know he/she has put you through enough worry so have let you off the morning sickness

MOB Glad to hear your DH is OK. He sounds like he has been very lucky. Poor thing.

GG I hope your DH's doctors appointment tomorrow helps put your DH at ease about the situation IYSWIM. Hope you had a relaxing weekend together.

ei I love the idea of mibbes coming back from her hols with a little passenger on board. How's the backache?

pink Any testing news?

Bucky How was France?! Hope you had lots of Brie and good wine.

Still waiting for ov over here. We've bd'ed every day since Friday including this morning so I really hope I ov today! I had a temp dip this morning and EWCM for the past four days so fingers crossed.

Hello to everyone else!
