i have set up a table of cakes, biscuits, sweets and chocolate with the kettle on the boil for our teapot!! some comfy chairs and footstools get comfy and get chatting good luck is in the pot on the table do as you please with it (eat it, put it in your pockets, stir it in your tea) lets all do a concerted effort to get our BFPs

did a clear blue last nite but didnt work did something wrong have ordered 10 test strips from ebay being sent this morning so once they arrive will do a test the morning after and let you know

I'm sorry I posted then ran last time - my af turned up that night and it all got a bit too much for me. Bit the same as some of you, I'm now a serial lurker as just can't muster the enthusiasm to post and don't want to bring the thread down with my rantings.

I do keep an eye on you all from a distance though.

GG although the sperm tests didn't come out brilliantly I think your DH should be applauded for such a rapid response in organising a Dr appt. He obviously needs to do this in his own way but at least he's not done an ostrich (is it an ostrich or an emu!?) and stuck his head in the sand. Pleased to hear you being upbeat about it. Retreat and let him sort it for the time being, think he sounds like a good man and is acting exactly how my DH prob would (bit brusk about it all but thats just a front).

Bucky sorry to hear Finn Dog was ill (I did a mad 'mother' act last night with my house rabbit - sat up til 1.30 watching him cos he was poorly!), hope he's much better now?? Just read about your 5.30am finish on Sat ? you party animal!!!!! Hope you?re doing ok at the mo.

I don?t even have any idea what cd I?m on and I refuse to work it out ? I haven?t touched an opk and the thermometer has been kicked under the bed. My friend told me that she is 7 weeks pregnant (2nd dc) and it was a ?mistake? with her boyfriend who she?s been seeing for, yep, you?ve guessed it, 8 weeks. How does she do it?? Why is it so easy for some?!

Anyway, promised I wouldn?t rant so will do another ?stealth? post and return to my lurking position!!!

I haven't posted on this thread before because I was trying not to obsess. But clearly I am obsessing so I am giving in and would love you girls to give me your opinions.

I usually have a 10 day lutueal phase. On Sat 17 Feb I got ov pains, on Sun 18th I got a positive OPK. We BD'd both days. Presuming I ovulated on the Sunday I am now 11 days DPO. I usually only make it to 10 days DPO so AF is one day late. I tested this morning. BFN. Not a trace of a line.

I have cramps that make me think AF is on its way. But usually these last a couple of hours and then I start bleeding. I have had them for days. This happened when I was pg first time.

Soooooo. What do you think? Am I clutching at straws or might I still be pregnant despite the BFN?? The pos says the tests are meant to be 99% effective once AF is due, but given my AF usually appears 10 days after ovualtion do you think I might have to wait longer for a BFP?

did cheapie test last night and thought pos but didnt say anything until i retest this am with CB digital and there is that lovely word on screen with a space where "not" used to be!!

havent told dh yet was going to wait to mothers day and do it in a clever way but dont think i will be able to wait!!

anyone any clever ideas for telling him?? it is our 2nd.

MummyAnnabella - congratulations - how exciting! I wouldn't be able to wait until Sunday if it was me. I hope someone comes up with a clever idea. How about hiding the somewhere you know he is going to look eg his glasses case so he'll be really shocked when he opens it or ask him to go and get you something when he comes home and have it hidden where he can see it (does that make sense?).

I tested on day i was due and got a negative.i am testing tom as have had cramps like af coming ,nausea,forgetfullness etc have come off pill but getting hopeful as cd 33 today
i would wait another week and then test again good luck we are both in a similair situation
i have read thread on here where people havent had a bfp till af 3 wks overdue.
you have to have enough hcg in you wee.

Never, ever EVER did i think i posting on a conception thread! Had terrible PND with dd (3) and even threw everything baby related out, so sure was i that this would never happen
I am a bit early as dp and i are starting to try next week, so as to be alchohol free for 2 weeks, but i have honestly been waking in the early hours of the morning grinning like a loon i am so excited at the thought
Finished AF last thrusday, so hopefully good timing.

Pick N Mix its good to here from you, I understand a few on here are Lurking I can understand why as this thread is so friendly there are many new people. Lurkings fine as long as you let us know your ok every now and again!!

Well got blood tests - Wish I hadn't. They were to begin with inconclusive I explained that I had done tests previously and had BFN and got faint BFP ob Mon but retested tues and got dark BFP. She then says you do not get false positives so would be pregnant, However the HCG levels are low so either dates are wrong or its not viable. Only time would tell, she would not refer me to EPU and there was no need to do bloods next week, I said not even to put mind at rest but no. So she wants to see me for 'chat' next week? Doesn't sound to hopeful does it?! So what will be will be.

Sorry to ramble but been with many of you guys a while now and feel like i know you so want to share

Thanks Ei, to be honest if this goes wrong I give up, whilst I do not want DD to be only child this is so emotionally draining and me and DH do not handle it well IYSWIM.

coolkat if it is any help (or hope) to you my mum was told she wasnt preg for ages when preg with my brother. all the blood tests said her HCG level was too low to be a viable preg and she was insistant she was preg so at 14 weeks they scanned her and found a perfectly healthy 13+5 baby and he is now 21 i dont want to raise your hopes unduelly but all i am tryin to say is dont give up and dont lose hope you will be ok and we will all be here for you xx
