i have set up a table of cakes, biscuits, sweets and chocolate with the kettle on the boil for our teapot!! some comfy chairs and footstools get comfy and get chatting good luck is in the pot on the table do as you please with it (eat it, put it in your pockets, stir it in your tea) lets all do a concerted effort to get our BFPs

ps fairy we flew to NZ and back with our twins when they were nearly 1 and then nearly 2. .

Agree lots of snacks, particulary raisins in little boxes that take longer to extract by little hands! New solid books, have you seen "busy railway"? Has lots of dials to turn and pop up bits and is very chunkily made in solid cardboard.

And little bag full of random tat. Our girls got flight bags on board with little toys and colouring books in and they loved them.

People will appreciate that you are trying to occupy them and strangers can be lovely. One lady played peekaboo with my girls from the seat behind for hours!

Hello ladies ! Am back from holidays now. Looks like you have been busy on here. Sorry for those who TEW got - grrr she is soo evil .
So much to catch up with - was hoping to see lots of BFPs, but maybe this weekend... fingers crossed ladies ! JB missed you too and all you other lovely ladies !
I'll do a proper catch-up post tomorrow when have more time as still off work and about to go out.
Quick update here is that have been bd'ing lots but temp still hasn't risen and on day 20 ! Ov'd on cd 17 last cycle so keep thinking "excellent another BD in the bag temp will rise tomorrow" then it doesn't . DP will be away from tomorrow so I need the rise to happen ! Had a small rise today but don't think it is enough for ov... how frustrating but thank goodness for temping as would have stopped BD'ing at the weekend without it

Hello hatty, I'm 8DPO at the moment and am not going to test before Sunday but would like to hold out for longer to avoid a dreaded BFN and then the 'oh I must have tested too early' senario! Great sounding symptoms there, are you going to hold out or give into the temptation of testing?

Great to see you back mibbes . Mmm, travelling might have set your ov back a few days or messed your temps up a bit. My temp rose slightly the day before ov this cycle and then shot up the next day so fingers crossed you'll get a rise tomorrow. Set your DP's alarm extra early tomorrow for a sneaky bd before he goes away .

beanie Stress about TTC, symptom spotting (or not), and the dragging nature of the 2WW as much as you like . That is what the symptom spotting thread is for .

I just mean relax about the opks because they don't work for everyone and you might be worrying unnecessarily because you ov a few days ago but missed the surge. Maybe the surge is shorter on a short cycle? I have no scientific basis for that!! It just occured to me!

I figure if I am ovulating I would have by now (CD17 now) so am hoping that all the practice has paid off.

Hi everyone. Hope you had a good holiday mibbes (former cycle buddy, although I seem to be two days ahead now). My ov'ing signs have been all over the shop this month as well.

Trying and failing not to obsess, even though it's at least a week and a half until AF is due. I WILL NOT do a test this month until I'm at least on Day 35......

Ei the wind has been evil. Last night I thought my windows might blow in (overactive imagination) but it was far worse here last night than it was on Sunday.

Treats and JB you are both very good holding out to test. I cracked and did one today even though I am 9dpo at most. I thought there might be a line, then there didn't seem to be one any more after a while, so who knows. Moral of the story - don't test until at least 10dpo and use FMU! I hav cramps too, but sort of fleeting, so who knows what gives.

oooooh scary sounds promisin wit your almost BFP im keepin my fingers crossed for you hunny and i have had more weird dreams but none MN or preg related unfortunately the weirdest by far is the one where i was sat laughing in my MILs because my FIL was dancing giving it loads in the middle of the room it was even wierder cos my FIL is so quiet and reserved ahh well il try and dream of you and your BFP tonight lol

FWIW I had an internal exam when I went to see GP 2 weeks ago and it was way less uncomfortable than a smear, nothing to worry about atall. Anyway hopefully you won't need the exam if your mood swings are PG hormone related

JB yes maybe flying has delayed ov or maybe just a longer cycle as they can be unpredictable. I can't wait until you test on Sunday - I'd love to see you get a BFP hun xx

beaniesteve when did you start opks ? maybe with such a short cycle you ov'd before you started testing ? hope you caught the egg anyway, as opks don't work for everyone.

mibbes I'd say you have ov. 36.46 is high for 6am if your temps are usually below 36.45 and taken an hour and 15 mins later. The temp corrector on the VIP membership used to add on about .3 for every 15 mins earlier than usual temp and remove .3 for being over. That is v approximate and I only worked that out myself so don't take it as gospel!! Your holiday sounds blissful .

SH An almost kind of line is great news, are you retesting today? Oooh do let us know.

ei Have you started temping today? I had an odd dream last night I was looking for a maternity unit because I wanted to see a midwife! When I found them they were smoking and wearing old fashioned uniforms . Very odd!

There was a lady on th etemping thread who had the same with her post ov temps being low for a whil, but FF still kept her ov date as was. I wouldn't worry mibbes. The EWCM is surley a good sign. And, as you say, either temp is above your cover line.
I am really messing up my temps over the past few days. Keep waking too early and then dozing. So I get low temps when I first wake and better ones after my doze.
I am at the end of my LP now, so I am putting the higher temps in, so that I can kid myself that AF is not on her way

Ooh, scary my CB! Are you testing again today? I am 11dpo today norm LP is 11, so I am going to give AF a couple more days to make her appearance then test on Saturday.

mibbes lovely to see you back. Sounds like you had a lovely holiday. Sounds like you have ov'd (although i'm no expert on temping) here's hoping for a holiday bean for you!! Thank you for asking about the relexology. It is definitely making me feel far less stressed and anxious about ttc. I had a session this morning, and she said that the area that corresponds to my uterus is "hot". Apparently thats a good thing! She seemed very positive.

EI sorry to hear about the problems you have had with the terrible wind. I think that it is definitely a symptom - farting so badly the broadband goes down

pinkgirl It does sound like you may be ov now. I always get white cm followed by lots of clear. A good indication is (according to what i've read) a round, very damp patch in underwear! Any other wetness / discharge won't be so obviously round. It may be that when you got EWCM at CD14, that your body tried to ov, but didn't.
