I never joined FF until last week so I could post a familiar chart showing my pregnancy month! I only ever plotted my own charts on graph paper, and had done for last 18 months, I liked taking charge of my own chart and didn't really know anything about FF until mibbes and fruity mentioned it a few months ago! So can't assist you on why they don't put lines in straight away, probably because they don't want to give false hopes to people who are using there facility?? You could always do a seperate chart for yourself and put your own lines in

xx ei xx

Emmsy1 · 26/03/2008 12:51

sparkly you don't need your temp to rise anymore than it already has to prove you have 'O' it will probably rise again when implantation takes place! some of our temps are higher than yours, but that doesn't mean nothing, we are all different, my pre 'O' and post'O' temps have changed in the last 18 months, they were nearly always lower than they have been for the last 8 months, I put it down to not being as fit as I was, I used to run quite alot and haven't done any exercise since last july, stop fretting hun, your temps are just fine,it would be nice to see them rise about the 5th April XXX

Emmsy1 · 26/03/2008 13:01

Ei hi hun, great news about mibbes, how's your temping going, hope your mum is giving you some useful tips? are you recording your temps on a chart? or just recording them in a diary? its hard to keep record of how people are doing without something to peek at! I'm fine, alittle worried that sickness seems to be subsiding, or maybe I'm just not concentrating on it as much anyway will know one way or the other soon, scan in 5 days!yeah, cant wait I dont know if you have been checking any other threads, but our kate is having abit of a bad time at the moment, check the knicker watchers thread on the pregnancy topic (friday 21st I think) shes been through a rough time of it.

Afternoon,

Well I've got nothing interesting to say about me today.

Mibbes how wonderful! I bet you're thrilled! Or stunned?

Ei temp still looking good I wont get you're hopes up though cos that's just mean

Still no AF, this is so boring.
I wonder If I'll reach CD100! Very possible. We'll have to celebrate

BFP's!!!
Emmsy1 BFP 13th Feb 08 (due end of October or early November)
Neveronamonday BFP 19th Feb 08 (Due end Oct)
Furtively BFP 24th Feb 08 (due early Nov)
Scully BFP 28th Feb 08 (due 5 November)
Cricri BFP 1 March 08 (due end Oct/early Nov)
TwinklingFairy BFP 15th March (due 23rd Nov)
Piper1984 BFP 18th March
mibbes BFP 26th March

As for all of you in the waiting wings, please dont all leave me when you all get your BFP's! I dont want to be all alone!
Maybe by September (When I've held the subfertility unit to a ransom of a few courses of Clomid)I'll have a BFP and we can all fly the nest together
Oh I hope I get a BFP before you all give birth! It would be tragic if I dont!

Did I tell you I've had 3 of my friends give birth in the last 3 weeks. Another one's just announced a pregnancy (well actually more DP's friend) and I've got 3 more (close) friends giving birth this year. One in April, one in Aug and one in Oct. I know 3 more pregnant people who are work related. What the F is going on?
This TTC business is turning me into a really jealous, hateful and bitter person. That's just not me. I hate feeling this way. Out of all those people who've had babies or are preg only 1 of them struggled with ttc and I'm not jealous of her in the slightest - I'm thrilled!

mibbes · 26/03/2008 14:13

Sparkly yippee for lines ! Let's hope your temp keeps rising tomorrow then ! With all this BD'ing you have been doing you deserve a BFP. Makes perfect sense I knew we'd get there in the end ! Did you read about the slow rise ? Makes it more tricky for you to spot the shift but then you have to use opks and EWCM to time BD'ing anyway (unless you are Ei with her pre-ov dip !). I'm sure it is noirmal for FF to take a few days longer to spot the slow rise as it is not as abvious. Usually 3 high temps and you get lines but maybe a slow rise takes longer. Did FF not say "how the h3ll do you know what tomorrow's temp is you cheat ?" when you put in tomorrow's temp ! Oh am sooo pleased for you - pleeeease let you get BFP and come over the Dec thread with me !
OMG Emmsy how sweet ! I know it doesn't seem so long ago that you, me and Kate were all having nightmare long cycles and now we all have BFPs ! Oh no have just read the about kate having a bad time - poor love, she has been through the mill
Ei you could mark that day's temp as 'discard' so that FF doesn't take any notice of it.

SparklyMummy · 26/03/2008 14:40

I FINISHED WOOOOHOOOOOO!!

Emmsy I could be fitter so maybe that's why I get slow rises . Thanks for all you advice. Are the kids fed now?xx
Mibbles You pregnant ladeeeee hahaha. That's going to take a bit of getting used to! FF quite liked having more temps. Maybe it thinks i'm psychic!

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 26/03/2008 14:47

eis chart i discarded that temp and its still left my lines on so yipee!! it actually looks as if i really did ov!! i was scared i wouldnt aswell [irrational ei emoticon]
ah well
xx ei xx

twinklingfairy · 26/03/2008 16:17

Oh Woweewowee! mibbes that is Fantastic news.
Aw are you sure you won't join me on the November thread?
I still haven't made a real connection with anybody on there yet. Don't you hate beng the new girl?
Then again, they are talkers so it is easy for me to be missed.
They are workers too, so all on during the day and away by the time I have a chance.

Aaaanway, Yeah for your potential lines sparkly!
You Knew you had ov'd! But it is so nice to get those big red lines!

emmsy I am just hoping and praying that I don't get hit by the MS this time. I ended up in hospital on a drip last time So trying not to think or worry about it but it is hard. Then again, I am worrying a little (not much though) that I have no symptoms, you just can't win

Where has piper gone?

Emmsy1 · 26/03/2008 16:17

SPARKLY all fed and watered and also chocolated! I meant before that because I was alot fitter ages ago my temps were lower (although its probably got nothing to do with it) your going away on Friday aren't you? what day will you be back?
Ei chart looks just fine without that ski jump thingy in the middle, lets hope your temp rises a little more when implantation occurs! XX
mibbes its not looking too good for kate, hope the doc is wrong! X
fruity were not going to leave you on your own, we dont have to leave this thread cos afew of us have BFP's any way I'm far too nosey and want to see what the outcome of fruitys clomid campaign will be! X

OP posts:
Emmsy1 · 26/03/2008 16:31

Twinkly you must of been in a terrible state having to be admitted into hospital, I have only ever felt really sick but not actually thrown up (well apart from Easter Sunday, but thats because I ate too much and too late!) does that mean you don't usually put much weight on, or was it just at the start of your pregnancy? hope its not that bad again, Your right we do tend to worry about everything, I know it doesn't help if you have had a few m/c's but it's human nature to be really concerned about our potential offspring, wondering what mibbes first worries will be! I think piper's elecy meter runs out every so often cos she often disappears!

OP posts:
Emmsy1 · 26/03/2008 16:43

mibbes just realised that this BFP is an extra special one, you don't have any other children! It's fantastic a brand new mum to be, it's so very special, your whole life is about to change, things will never be the same again, its truly amazing being a mum, I'm sure you are going to be just perfect at it! now roll on all the worries of pregnancy etc... XXXX

OP posts:
mibbes · 26/03/2008 17:50

Fruity {{{{big hugs}}}}, how you keep your chin up with your mammoth cycles is beyond me, you are an example to us all hun xx. There is no way I am going to leave this thread until you have BFP too. I may pop in to Dec antenatal thread in a while but will stick around here - I need to help you ladies interpret temps !
I know that over the past few months while ttc I have felt of friends who announce PG esp when they make it clear it happened 'straight away' (how bloody insensitive !) but have been really happy for those I know have taken a while.

Fairy no I am pretty sure I am due early Dec missus, so won't be joining you sorry . That is a shame that you feel a bit left out and that they are on at different times. It just means you'll have to stick on here with us .

OMG first proper PG sign - am sobbing after reading your post Emmsy but the good news is I can blame hormones ! I am absolutely petrified when I think of the end result so am just trying to concentrate on the PG bit ! My friends know me as the 'one that doesn't hold babies' because am scared of babies, I have no idea how they work ! OMG what have I done, yikes ! My main saving grace is that SIL is due #3 in early Sept so hopefully she'll let me change a nappy/do a bath so I am not a complete novice when I've got one of my own ! We have quite a big house so there is room for my mum to move in and look after baby, not sure what DP will think of that though !
My first worry is that despite having tingly boobs since 10dpo have had nothing today ...and so a lifetime of worrying commences !

mibbes · 26/03/2008 18:56

Emmsy I have just been reading about Kate, am so gutted for her . The knicker-checker thread is really scary, had to stop reading after a while as too many things can go wrong .

xxhunnyxx · 26/03/2008 18:56

mibbles CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I'm so happy for you Hopefully this is a lucky thread to be on

I did my temp this morning, 36.7 does it matter that my thermometer only gives a reading with 1 decimal place?

mibbes · 26/03/2008 19:09

Hi hunny here you are added you, do you know what your stats are ? I had a 1 dec place thermometer to start with but then bought a proper BBT one that goes to 2 dec places from Boots. You will get a good idea of temps but for accuracy best to have 2 dec places.
