Have had some blood . Just went to the loo after last post and there was fresh blood . Am so scared. A&E has said that I should just use a pad and see what happens . Have come home from work (blubbing at my desk was not a good look and I'd never have done a stroke of work anyway). Bleed seems to have stopped for now and no pain... this is rubbish.

cricri · 07/04/2008 11:06

Mibbes Sorry to hear about your bleed but if it has stopped and you have no cramping then hopefully that is a good sign. Lots of women have bleeding in early pg and go on to have healthy babies, although it is very scary when it happens. Do you have an EPU near you where you could get scanned to see what's going on? A&E comment not particularly helpful under the circumstances In the meantime put your feet up and try to relax (easier said than done, I know). Keep us posted...

JollyBear · 07/04/2008 11:11

Oh mibbes Obviously you fear the worst but many, many, many women have bleeds and go on to have healthy babies. If you get any pain then ring A&E back but otherwise just rest and try as much as you can to relax. I know it is impossible not to worry but just keep thinking positive.

scully · 07/04/2008 11:18

Hope everything is ok Mibbes, I'm sure it is,
Fruity, I have one of those saliva things, never found it useful though, have you?
Good luck Ei, can't wait to hear your news!
Enjoying a nice glass of red right now

MollieMooma · 07/04/2008 11:21

Mibbes Right missus, you need to ring your EPU so that you can book in for a scan, you don't need to go through the GP (I think they prefer it but I rang them directly and had no probs with them) It's no good you worrying at home, you need some answers cos nothing we say will make you feel better. Please Please ring!

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 07/04/2008 11:31

morning ladies
mibbes get yourself down to the EPU and dont leave until they have checked you over hunny xxx try not to worry (i know easier said than done right?!) my friend had bleeding in early preg with her DS and when they checked she had a cervical erosion which was bleeding fresh red blood!! her DS is fit and healthy BTW {{{{{{hugs}}}}}}

How confusing Ei, hopefully you'll see that bfp later in the week.
I have found an acupuncturist that is 5min from home who specialises in fertility/obstetrics/gynecology issues, so am going to call her tomorrow to see if I should see her now, or wait until the m/c has happened.

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 07/04/2008 11:54

hi scully i hope you are ok and things get moving for you soon when i had my MC the docs said it appeared that the baby had died over 2 weeks before i started to bleed so had i have known that the baby had gone i would have had a long wait on my hands for things to happen naturally is there nothing that they can give you to speed things up rather than having to go down the D&C route?? a tablet or suchlike? xx {{{{{{{hugs to you and your family}}}}}}}
xx ei xx

JollyBear · 07/04/2008 12:02

I've had a look at your chart Ei and those super high temps are a great sign. Is there any chance you might not have ov till where FF put you at 5DPO?? Did you check CM and play cervical pursuits?!

I looked into a long LP because the first cycle temping I got to 18DPO with high temps BUT I was having a stupidly long cycle and apparently on a long cycle the progesterone (sp?) can rise without ov and tricks your body. That cannot be the case for you. If you are confident you ov when FF says you did then things are looking very good! I'd be feeling v positive if I were you and test again tomorrow.

Hope you are OK mibbes

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 07/04/2008 12:16

hi JB i am pretty sure i oved on the day FF says i did as after then i have only had milky CM and i had textbook EWCM for the few days before ov. i am not going to test for a few days and wait and see whether AF shows her ugly face i am going to book a docs appointment for next week as i need to see him for my bloody UTI which is still lingering after over a year of almost constant antibiotics and i am going to force him to refer me to a specialist!! if i still havent had Af my then i will speak to him about that too

cricri · 07/04/2008 12:38

Scully When I had my mc I really wanted to avoid ERPC and I saw the homeopath I regularly see and she gave me some remedies to help things along. It worked. Acupuncture should also be able to help, if you want to go down the natural route. It's so frustrating isn't it In my case the baby had stopped developing 7 weeks before it was picked up by the scan and I just couldn't understand how on earth my body kept thinking it was still pg. Hopefully things will start to happen soon.
Ei Have been keeping my fingers crossed for your BFP - how frustrating that you keep getting BFN. I know nothing about temping, but the ladies here seem to think it's looking good for you so I'll carry on crossing my fingers and hope for some good news tomorrow
Mibbes How are you doing now?

fruitl0ops2muchchoc · 07/04/2008 14:02

WTF Ei? I am amazed you're still getting BFNs I would keep testing everyday. What's the best test you can buy?

Mibbes Dont panic! You'll be fine {{{{{{{{{{{{cuddles}}}}}}}}}}}}

mibbes · 07/04/2008 14:10

Thanks for your advice ladies. The triage lady said that if bleeding continued she'd organise a scan for me. It was only 2 wipes worth and has stopped now. I felt really queasy for an hour then was really sick - not sure if that was caused by ms or shock/worry. Anyway resting in front of daytime TV and on knicker-watch.

Ei what in the name of the wee man is going on ? You are TCOYF/FF pregnant so why the BFN ? Some ladies do take ages (even weeks) before the hormone can be detected, I really hope this is true in your case hun. How frustrating !

SparklyMummy · 07/04/2008 14:17

Mibbes Go to the EPU to reassure yourself but i'm sure it's nothing to worry about. As everybody has mentioned, lots of people have bleeding in early pregnancy and go on to have healthy babies. Thinking of you lovely lady. Lots of love xxxxxxx
Ei Sorry to read of your BFN. What the hell is going on? Have you tried a CB or FR? It doesn't make any sense. Did you get results?
Scully I might look into that too. My friend has been going. She has PCOS and seems to be having more regular periods so it must be worth a try. [big hugs]
Hi to everyone else...how weird is this weather?

JollyBear · 07/04/2008 14:33

Glad to hear things have settled mibbes. Just make sure you keep taking it easy and let DP wait on you.

mibbes · 07/04/2008 14:35

Fruity thanks for the cuddles
I checked my Zita West book last night and she says that FSH 6-8 is good, 9-10 fair and 11-13 poor so looks like you are on the very positive side of good . She also says that LH should ideally be less than 7 so you are bang on there too ! And the final piece of good news is that after the procedure you had women can apparently be more fertile for a couple of cycles as the dye can remove any small blockages in your tubes. So at last there is some good news for you hun xx. Did GP/consultant not explain your results ? Obviously I am no medical professional though I'm surprised the results weren't fully explained.

fruitl0ops2muchchoc · 07/04/2008 14:48

Ah thanks mibbes really sweet of you to look that info up I dont see the gynae now till August for my follow-up appointment I know but that's the NHS for ya! I'm to phone every week till then for cancellation appointments. I've also got a Baseline scan in July (also ages away ). I've heard about the clearing the tubes thing, let's hope so eh!

Chin up you! Thinking of you xx

hi ladies well i got my results........... I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED!!! 3rd times a charm
thanx everyone for being so positive for me and my no AF/BFN situation you girls are the best
mibbes im glad the bleeding has stopped and that the triage lady said you would get a scan if you need one i would recommend embellishing a little bit if you are still feeling anxious in a few days and say you have had cramps etc and get an early scan to reassure you and your DH i know its naughty but its worth it for the peace of mind
hi to everyone else
just a quick question... when is emmsy back from her hols?? anyone know??

I'm sure she was only to be away for 4 days so hopefully soon.
I'll ask MW on Wed (at booking in appt) if I can have early scan to make sure all ok. Am only just 6 weeks tomorrow so probably too early to see much, I'd rather wait until further on assuming no more scares.

mibbes · 07/04/2008 16:10
