HI Ei, was I on any of your lists/dreams ? Your chart looks great ! I suspect the huge rise is due to your bug but that is quite a shift ! You are one of the lucky ones as you seem to get a dip on ov day TCOYF says that some women get that which means that (unlike the rest of us) they can use temping to time BDing ! Having said that I'd make sure it happens next cycle too before you start relying on it as a guide as it may be a one-off. But then with any luck your next cycle won't be until next year ! i don't plan to test until Wed now as by then wuill actually be late, AF due tomorrow/Wed. Yo9u'll just have to wait another day !

Sparkly, also very of your trip to Paris. We had 5 days over there in May 06, had a day at Disney, which dd1 loved (dd2 too little to know where she was) but dd1 remembers more about our few days in Paris, it really had an impact on her, even almost 2yrs later. That would have to be one of the few things I miss since we've moved back to Australia, not having Europe on our doorstep for quick trips. Really miss the history, food etc.
Know what you mean about being nervous Emmsy, I also keep thinking that I can't be that unlucky to have 2 m/c in a row, but as you said, it does happen so I'm swaying between being optimistc and realistic. The scan on 15/3 has at least prepared us a little if it is bad news, won't be as much a nasty surprise as the one last Aug was.

scully really hope that its not the worst possible news for you, why cant things be straight forward? it takes bloody ages to get a BFP then you have to go through all this crap before you find out if its going to be ok,our bodies can be so cruel at times. XX

sparkly hope your temp is up now, your DH sounds as though he really deserves a little rest I took my children to Disneyland for 7 nights in August 2006, we stayed at the Davy crockett ranch, the kids loved it (they had reindeer there!) We were there when the heatwave was there is was fantastic!
Took them again last August for 6 Nights when all the bad floods were around and it was quite chilly at times, the kids still loved it (although I felt like it was 2 different holidays, the weather can really ,make a difference)Can't really afford to go there again so this year will be settling for a caravan in wales, they will still enjoy themselves, The boys have still said "wish we could go back to Disneyland" told them no way this year,they are going to have to except that money doesn't grow on trees! hope you have a really good time XXXX

Oh Sparkly how frustrating for you. Dont cancel your day 21 bloods. That's what the test is for to see if you ov. Even if you havnt ov'd, it doesnt mean you wont at all. You might just be having a long cycle (god forbid it's not as long as mine!!!)

Emmsy ah, we'd love to take DS to Disneyland. We've actually been looking into Disneyworld in Florida but it's just so expensive. It's either pay the mortgage or go on holiday! haha.

Scully I absolutely loved Oz and would move there in an instant but you're right. You're kind of cut off from the rest of the world arent you. I would go there for a year or so. Still, Oz is such an amazing country. Lots of different climates so you can still have a lovely holiday if you want to . Do you think you'll ever come back to England to live?

Ei that is a beautiful rise! but remember you've not been too well so dont get overexcited (remember my chart shot up when I was ill and I got very excited!). Still, it does look as though you have ov'd so big for you!

My temp has shot up even more. It's amazing what a few extra hormones can do! I've got another day left of prog then I'll have to wait and see what happens. I'm convinced I can feel AF cramps still. Maybe I'm just convincing myself cos I'm expecting the tablets to work

fruity Disney World Florida is truly amazing! I have been very lucky to have been 3 times! On all 3 occassions I was with my eX husband, we didn't have any children and went 'Fly-Drive' which works out alot cheaper! eX husband traded me in for a younger model so that's the end of those holidays, would really love to take the children to Florida as it really does knock the spots off DisneyLand Paris! but would have to win the lottery first!So thats just a dream that will probably never come true! My H nephew went last Easter with their 3 children for 2 weeks and it cost just over £4000!

sparkly just cant really see if you have 'O' with this chart! I would have thought you have 'O' on CD22 (but CD13 to 17 has confused me) I know you had beer on 1 occassion and you took your temp after being up on another? and wasn't you ill for a few days?? Thats why its hard to tell from one chart,what your pre'O' and your post'O' temps will normally be. Still think there's a chance that you did 'O' on CD22 though! I would still get your bloods done, there's no harm in carrying on as you intended is there? XX

Would anyone mind if I join you ladies? I know some of you from the symptom spotters and waiting rooms. I'm temping so could join in your chart spotting and interpretation if you'll have me!!

Morning ladies, well my temp is still high so that is 14 high temps. Took it over an hour early as bursting for the loo (36.88) then at the usual time (36.94) so I'll put 36.91 into FF. Told DP that there is no sign of AF and he seemed sceptical, I think he is protecting me/us from a big fall as 2 cycles ago I was convinvced was PG but wasn't... if temp still high tomorrow will defo test. Spotting has completely stopped now . Only have CBDs left in the drawer and have heard from beaniesteve that these are not the most sensitive so am concerned that may still get BFN... anyone know the best one to use ? Is FR more sensitive ? TBH I'd rather have a 'line test' so at least there is chance of having a faint line to squint at ! I couldn't bear to see BFN in words...

Sparkly looks like still no ov for you mi lady - poor you and DH will be pooped ! If I were you I'd go for bloods and explain that you are charting and that still no rise and ask that if you do get a rise in the next few days if you could perhaps go back 7 days after the rise for more bloods to be taken. The day 21 thing means 7 days after ov (assuming a 28 day cycle) so given your cycles day21 is far too early anyway. I had my day21 bloods taken on day 25 as I knew that would be approx 7 days after ov. Bugger I was so hoping you get the rise today, oh well maybe just one more BD required... {{{hugs}}} There will be a huge celebration on this thread when you finally get the shift ! But as I said yesterday if you are on course for a 35 day cycle then maybe still a few days to go... have you had any more +ve opKs, EWCM (pay close attention after bowel movement as that is the only time I ever really see any) ? Do you know approx how long LP is ? The thing may be that you have a shortish LP (maybe 10-12 days) and with your cycles you are probably ov'ing far later than you thought (which may have caused you to miss the egg so far). It may seem frustrating but the temping will help you get to the bottom of this. Just think if you weren't temping you'd have thought you ov'd days ago and stopeed BDing... OMG sorry for ramble !

Scully Sorry I posted before I caught up on thread. I am at Australia. I have never been - we keep talking about visiting Australia/South Africa but I am not a keen flyer. I think i'll keep making excuses about DD being too small etc for a little while longer.
Emmsy You're right about all my temp blibs. I'm also thinking that maybe I am sleeping with my mouth open and this is bound to f-up my temp. Maybe i'll use superglue tonight?

Mibbles Thanks for the post hun. Glad your temp is still high. I'm so excited for you and can't wait to see result tomorrow. I might cancel my blood .....My surgery only takes blood on Weds and we won't be back until late next Weds. I had that OPK+ and EWMC on Saturday but nothing since. All OPKs have been - and all CM has dried up. Last month I had OPK+ on CD18 and then AF on CD31. This means my luteal phase is at least 11 days.

Yep, it all sucks doesn't it Emmsy, but what can you do. I remember thinking when I was in having the d&c last Aug how lucky I was to be going home to our 2 dd's. As much as we would love a third dc, I know we are very lucky to have 2dc already.
Highly unlikely that we would return to the UK FL, we did live there 11yrs, but neither of us are English and we both grew up in hot climates so like the outdoor lifestyle for the girls to grow up in. Pros and cons to living in both places, would love one day to have the money to take the dd's back to the country of their birth when they are a little older. dd1 still talks often of going back on holiday.

mibbes I am sooooooooo excited for you!! You can get v sensitive 10mg/ml?? tests off ebay, but I doubt you'll want to wait for those to be delivered . Try pee on a stick, they might list the sensitivity.

mibbes I have always found sainsburys own brand very cheap and very reliable, more so than asda or tesco, their lines always show up before other 2 brands, good luck if you get your BFP are you going to stop temping after you have 18 high temps??

Ei hi missus any symptoms yet ? Sorry for making you wait but wanted to give hormones a chance to rise (assuming there are any). Am getting worried as was in this position in Jan - late AF and convinced was PG and set myself up for an almighty fall . I suppose with temps I have more idea what is going on now so here's hoping I can bring your prediction success rate back to 100% !! oh and JB and I started temping together in Jan - we are FF HCBs !!
Sparkly which days did you have alcohol and illness ? If we can explain away some of the earlier high temps then maybe you have ov'd. I am just very conscious that the +opk and EWCM on the same day seem unlikely to have happened with no ov... We'll get to the bottom of this one way or another

Mibbles Ei MADE ME add fever to my high chart. I was ill on CD12 and 13 - I had a really sore throat. I had alcohol (not lots) on cds 9,11,17. Maybe i'll have it today as well to make my temp increase tomorrow lol!

Scully I'd love to bring my DS up in Oz. Even for just a year or two. I've got a friend who moved to Brisbane a few yrs ago and said it's the most wonderful place to bring up kids!

I wish I had something to report. CD 6 is very dull!!

Hey everyone! I don't temp but I'm thinking about giving in and going and getting myself a thermometer. I mainly don't temp because DP works away quite a bit so we just always BD when we get chance and I'd be frustrated if I knew that I was ovulating whilst he isn't around. I'm pretty sure that I ovulated over the weekend and we BD'd loads so very hopeful this month. I'm really determined to be more relaxed and less obsessive this month but I know that as I get closer to AF arriving I'll be climbing the walls and wanting to test every day so now I'm wondering if I should start temping so I might be able to tell before AF arrives. Just wanting to know if everyone finds it helpful or does it just add the anxiety and obsessing even more?
