Sparkly ??.??° CD19 (LP12/13) Cycle 5 TTC#2
mibbes 36.94° CD32 (LP13/14) 13dpo cycle 4 TTC#1

Neveronamonday BFP 19th Feb 08 (Due end Oct)
Furtively BFP 24th Feb 08 (due early Nov)
Scully BFP 28th Feb 08 (due 5 November)
Cricri BFP 1 March 08 (due end Oct/early Nov)
TwinklingFairy BFP 15th March (due 23rd Nov)
Piper1984 BFP 18th March

Look at all those BFP's!!! There's not many of us left on the waiting list! I hope some newbies come along soon or I'll be left up there on my own soon! lol.

Now girls, a quick question:

Ok, If I get Clomid in August then I wont get a BFP until at the earliest September. (That's even if they give me it/it works). Ok, so hyperthetically speaking, I wouldnt give birth until June.
I've always wanted a summer wedding so the original plan was to give up the pill at the beginning of last Aug (07) (which I did) and get preg before May 08 (plenty of time, you would've thought) and therefore give birth at the latest Feb 09.
This would've given me 6 months to lose the baby weight in order to have an Aug wedding.

So what do I do now? If you had your heart set on a summer wedding would you postpone it to the following Aug (2010)? If I give birth in May, there's absolutely no way I will lose the weight in 3 months! And I really really dont wanna be a hefty bride.

Ok, so now I wont

fruitloopwants79eastereggs · 24/03/2008 08:58

ignore that very last bit,"Ok, so now I wont" dunno where that came from! ha ha

SparklyMummy · 24/03/2008 09:00

x-posts with FL Fruity I think you should just continue with wedding plans...then treat whatever else happens as a suprise

fruitloop Go ahead with the wedding and get a wedding dress that has a full skirt and a corsage, no not a corsage, a corsit? Oh lordy one of those things with the string in the back to hoick you up and in.
That way you can be squished in and the skirt will hide the rest.
Did you have lots of baby weight last time?

So sorry piper I have not given my congratulations yet!
Yeah! Your EDD must be pretty close to mine?

twinklingfairy · 24/03/2008 11:30

Oh and mibbes you know what we are always saying to everyone else, a line is a line!
Woohoo, here's hoping it is stronger tommorrow.
Are you going to test again tommorrow or leave it a wee while to build up even more?

cricri · 24/03/2008 11:42

I can congratulate Piper officially now Wonderful news. Come and join Fairy and me on the Due in November thread when you're ready.
Mibbes Keeping my fingers crossed for you! The spotting may be implantation bleeding, and lots of women who have had bleeding in early pg have gone onto have healthy babies so try not to worry. When are you going to test again? As Fairy says, a line is a line!
Fruitloop Agree with Fairy re wedding and dresses. Full skirt will hide a multitude of sins!
Scully Fingers crossed for your scan on Thursday. I know how anxious you must be.
NOAM Good to "see" you - how are you feeling? I had really bad nausea yesterday but feel much better today thank goodness.
Emmsy How are you doing? Just a week to go until your scan
Hope everybody else is OK.

fruitloopwants79eastereggs · 24/03/2008 12:02

I've got visions of a lovely sleek satiny dress though I could normally get away with it. Maybe I'll just be careful what I eat during preg (If I get preg) and then seriously crash diet after the birth. I put on 3 stone with DS. I think most of the weight was DS and placenta and water but I got down to my normal size in 5 months. That was with a GI diet, plus I had that awful c-section bulge.
Oh it's so hard cos I really dont want a full skirt. Plus I wanna feel nice and slim. Ah well, I might not even get pg for a few more years anyway. So I'll need to wait and see. I think I'll just go ahead with an Aug 09 wedding and hope for the best. Why cant anything be simple? Most of my friends have planned pregs. All fell pg within a month or two of trying. I just dont get it. How did they manage that? It seems to be a normal thing to fall preg whenever they want to. Even threads on here about women delaying TTC so they dont have a winter baby! What's that about? What makes them think it'll be so simple they can choose the due date of their baby? It makes me so cross

Emmsy1 · 24/03/2008 12:50

mibbes sticky baby dust especially for you!STICKYBABYDUSTFORMIBBES** Beautiful temp hun XXX

Scully glad you have had a relaxing few days, hope that things go well for you over the next week or so XXX

sparkly please try not to worry about your temps, stress can delay ovulation, things will work out for you, just try and chill out alittle XXX

cricri lovely to hear from you! I'm feeling ok, side and back pains seem to have subsided today, all though I haven't done very much just a little ironing and eating!
Heard some bad news today which upset me a little, one of the girls from mums & tots had her 10 week scan last week and found out that her babys heart had stopped, she would have been due in October, its really thrown me today, got me so worried about my 10 week scan next Monday, don't think I can cope with another miscarriage, just don't feel mentally strong enough

OP posts:
cricri · 24/03/2008 13:19

Emmsy I'm pleased to hear your pains have gone, but I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. It must be terribly difficult to see a hb and then be told that the baby has died. I am trying so hard not to think about that possibility . I can understand why you are concerned, and hearing this news must have knocked you for six, but try to stay positive (easier said than done I know). The odds of having 2 mc in a row are really very low. Come and post on the knickercheckers anonymous thread if you need some reassurance in the run-up to your scan. (((hugs))) to you.

mibbes · 24/03/2008 14:21

Emmsy thanks for the dust ! Sorry to hear about your friend
never thanks for that, makes me feel hopeful as will be 14dpo tomorrow and due AF either tomorrow or Wed. Myabe test again on Wed of still no AF.
Thanks for good wishes FL, cricri and Fairy am sooo hoping it sticks (if indeed it was really a line) I hope my brain wasn't playing tricks.

mibbes · 24/03/2008 14:25

Sparkly my cycle twin ! Given you are only CD19 and have same variable cycles as I do it is perfectly likely that you are still to early for ov. I ov'd cd17 last cycle and cd19 this one. If you are going to have a 35 day cycle and LP is an average 12 days then you still have a few days to wait... keep looking for that EWCM and hold wee for as long as poss before opks. I know it is frustrating but keep with it, you don;t want to miss it. If I hadn't been temping this cycle I'f have stopped BD'ing too soon and missed the fertile days altogether. hugs xx

SparklyMummy · 24/03/2008 15:23

waves to NOAM, TF and CriCri. Hope you're ok.

Emmsy and Mibbles Thanks for posts about my temps. Last month I had an OPK+ on CD18 and had AF on CD31...this month I had OPK+ on CD17 so would assume I ov yday or today..maybe my temp will rise tomorrow? Can you have OPK+ without actually OV?
Emmsy You're going to be fine lovely lady. You should stop worrying too. Lots of love and dust for your beanie.

Hope everyone is having a lovely bank hol. We went to the beach this morning looking for crabs but didn't find any and it was frrreezzing! DD is now eating an easter egg and dancing to wiggles. It's so random (wiggles that is)

mibbes · 24/03/2008 16:10

Sparkly you're right that if you had +ve opk on cd17 you colod well ov on cd19 so get a BD in today/tonight and then see how temp is tomorrow. I have everyhitng crossed for you hun as it seems like you have been waiitng for ages to ov ! I had tghe same this cycle as expected it on CD17 so BD 15,16 then temp didn;t rise untilCD 20 ! If we are truly cycle twins then you'll get the rise tomorrow and ov cd19 like me . I think I'll be almost as excited bu your first thermal shift as by a BFP !!!
p.s. it is possible to have +ve opk and no ov, it is quite common with PCOSers as they can have many LH surges. I wouildn't worry about that yet though, I feel that today is the day and you'll see a rise tomorrow

mibbes · 24/03/2008 16:12

excuse typos, should've previewed that

fruitloopwants79eastereggs · 24/03/2008 16:22

I agree Mibbes I had a + OPK 50odd days ago! hahahaha. I wouldnt go near them with a barge pole now!
sparkly BTW please dont go stressing about PCOS! You know it is very normal to ov late or to have an anovulatory cycle. If you dont ov this cycle (and I'm sure you will)then there's always next cycle which isnt very far away .
Hope to catch you later, hope you had fun at the beach!

Emmsy1 · 24/03/2008 16:27

cricri thanks for the invite to Knickercheckers anonymous, I'll have a think about it! I know you said that it's highly unlikely to have another m/c but I have already had 2 consecutive m/c's 1 last april and 1 last september so statistics should even be more so in my favour not to have 3 in a row! I think hormones etc.. also getting to me a little as I totally broke down after last post and couldn't stop sobbing, felt much better afterwards although poor children were quite distressed about it, then I felt really guilty that I couldn't hold it in until I was on my own thanks for your advice hun XXXX

sparkly I got my + on CD8 and my temp rose on CD10 I have definately had cycles were I had a + and didn't have a temp rise for 3 days after so fingers crossed that it will happen soon, as mibbes says try and keep up the b/d XX

OP posts:
SparklyMummy · 24/03/2008 16:43

I don't think I have PCOS so prob a late ov. I managed a BD today so I think we've done it at least every other day for a week...i'm sure there are plenty of little men being as impatient as me whilst waiting for the egg. Thanks for advice girlies.

Emmsy1 · 24/03/2008 16:46

sparkly it would be the best news ever if you and mibbsy get a BFP this cycle XX

OP posts:
SparklyMummy · 24/03/2008 16:49

I don't know what i'd do if I got a BFP..DP reckons we'll have a competition to see who tells first!

cricri · 24/03/2008 16:51

Emmsy Oops, I'd forgotten (or perhaps I didn't know) that you'd had two mc in a row . Sorry... Obviously you've got even more reason to be worried. I just wanted to reassure you with my post - hope I didn't sound flippant. Sorry the stress is getting to you, these early weeks are an anxious time. Especially as you've been having problems with DP too which can't have helped either. Wish I could do something to help... (((hugs))) to you.

mibbes · 24/03/2008 16:56

Emmsy {{{{big hugs}}}} for you after getting upset, glad it made you feel better xx
OMG wouldn't it be amazing if Sparkly and I both got BFPs this cycle ! We could graduate together
Sparkly sounds like you have made an excellent effort BD-wise missus, all you can do now it wait for the rise and if it doesn't appear tomorrow just keep BD'ing. You and DP will be shattered ! Your trip to the beach sounded lovely and am so of trip to Paris ! I am supposed to be going on a girlie weekend to Paris in June but will maybe have to drop out if am PG...

Emmsy1 · 24/03/2008 17:02

cricri no problem hun, can't be expected to remember/know everything and you 'have' helped, its amazing how a few words of encouragement can help you bounce back up, lots lo love to you XXX
mibbes we will have to throw a party if there is a double graduation!

OP posts:
EiWishFor3MoreEasterEggs · 24/03/2008 18:55

SparklyMummy · 24/03/2008 19:37

Emmsy Didn't read your whole post earlier. Sorry you felt . Lots of love xxxx
Mibbles I hope we've done enough BD to last us a lifetime. Poor DP asked how many days this is going to go on for lol! He actually seemed interested in my CD - he's prob looking forward to a break. We are travelling to London Fri and then getting the Eurostar on Sunday...our friend has a holiday flat in Oberkamph near Place de la Republique/Pere la chaise. We're going to take DD to Eurodisney so that should be fun. Can't wait to see your temp tomorrow. xx
Ei Sorry you have been feeling poorly. Is your temp supposed to rise that much?
