So sad so many of you have had a MC. something I’m so scared of and will forever be worrying about I think. How you’ve all just got back up and cracked back on is admirable. 🤍

We’re living our BFP through you 😅 I’ve been super quiet on here lately as had some personal stuff going on, and had to refocus my energy elsewhere but I am still here .. lurking 👀 and will no doubt be back talking shit and throwing out some stats before you know it. You lucky things! 😜

Thanks @Annapolis35 I've got used to it now. Just another failed month. The waiting for my period to start is the most frustrating, it's like my body is just taunting me.
I think I must have a progesterone issue to get so much spotting every cycle 🤷‍♀️

My husband is going to work away (on and off) August-October so we probably have 1 more ovulation and then I'm almost hoping he's away during my fertile times so that I don't have the mental exhaustion of wondering if it's finally worked for a few months.

Ah sorry @A95x hope you're ok. I seem to have really bad pms at the moment and gut feeling that it's a no. Not due AF until Tues so right in the worst bit of the tww. Feeling pretty rubbish today, like I've no mental energy to even try and be positive which is quite unlike me.

@A95x I'm sorry 💕 did you and your OH end up going to the GP for help?

@SnookyPook I think we're both on same cycle day atm. It's just shitty isn't it having a strong feeling that it's not happened but still having to wait so long for AF. Although if you're feeling super different to normal at this stage maybe it's a good sign for you?

@dabs9 I don't know, I think it's just I'm reacting worse to the 'no' cycles after my loss because it feels like its rubbing my face in it. I dunno. The long wait sure is torturous! Still, nearing the end of it now so will know for sure next week. How are you coping? Xx

@GCS34 Sorry you’ve been going through personal stuff, and glad you’re still about. Please don’t let our experience of mc’s taint anything for you, most people go on to have healthy pregnancies!

@dabs9 I wondered the same too about progesterone but I’ve had a day 7 test before and the results were good. Can you ask your gp? My gp didn’t blink at all when I said about spotting and seemed to think it was normal, I don’t know. My period started last Saturday so I’m a week into my cycle (ish) and I feel fine, trying not to think about it really. Shagging period is next weekend or so. Maybe a few months mental break is a good thing? Gives you a bit of headspace. How are you?

@A95x Sorry your AF arrived. It is a good idea to go to gp and get tests as either way at least you know what you’re dealing with. It is scary but for the best.

@SnookyPook it must be so hard after a loss to try and pick yourself back up and go again. I'm really sorry you're going through this.
A lot of TTC feels so cruel when it's not going as planned 😩

I'm not great today tbh with the spotting.. I just feel super negative. It just feels so pointless trying every month. Waiting for my fertility clinic appt in September so that we can be referred for IVF, it just seems crazy that we have to wait set amounts of time just to jump through NHS hoops when it clearly isn't going to work naturally 🤷‍♀️

My MN break helped me to try and be more chill last cycle but it didn't make a difference so I'm back! 🤣 xx

@Annapolis35 I've had 2 progesterone tests. First one was 32.2 and second one was 23. Drs said reassuring of ovulation but I wasn't reassured by the 23.
I've actually done a postal one this month so just waiting for those results.
Shagging period! 🤣 that wonderful time of the month!! Hahah. I feel we've got to the point we have so much sex during that time neither of us can face it the rest of the month haha. Xx

@dabs9 yeah (I’m not a doctor) but I guess that indicates variable levels? Maybe some months ovulation and others not? That’s not reassuring I agree. The only one I’ve had came back at 43 which seems good. Haha I know, I was asking my husband earnestly about whether timed sex was hard and he said no and that he only wants to at optimal times because he doesn’t want to “spoil the pot” 😂

@LeopardLover you make me sound like a dictator 😂But I do have a fact for you which I didn't realise until last month how rapidly your chance of pregnancy drops after you've ovulated!

"If a woman has sex six or more days before she ovulates, the chance she will get pregnant is virtually zero.
The chance of pregnancy after this is 27-33% in the three days leading up to, and including, ovulation.
From that point, the probability of pregnancy declines rapidly. Twelve to 24 hours after ovulation, a woman is no longer able to get pregnant during that cycle."

So basically if you have sex the evening you ovulate it might be too late! Wow that's depressing. not sure that helped anyone really haha! 😳👀

Wow! I guess the key is to get to it the moment you get that peak. It must be harder if you ovulate really soon after the peak (12 hours vs 24/36)🤔 because once you've ovulated the game is up!

Had my scan today and was told that although I have no sign of a yolk sack or embryo, the gestational sac is still growing and has doubled in size since last week… which is crazy that my body still thinks I’m pregnant…which ultimately means they can’t give me any medication or surgery to make me actually miscarry. So I have to wait another week to see if A) it keeps growing and is still empty at 2.5cm or B) stops growing or c) I miscarry naturally.

I always thought a miscarriage would just “happen” and that would be it… turns out it can go on for weeks.

Sorry if I’m bringing everyone down, but I thought it was interesting and not talked about much so hoping others will see this info.

I’m going out for a cocktail with a friend tonight to decompress! I bloody need it.

My body has just decided to draw this out for me, but that is okay, I’m just accepting that this is part of my journey and hopefully in a year or so from now I will have a beautiful little one and this will all be a distant memory.

Where is everyone up to ovulation-wise?

I'm 14 DPO tomorrow, no sign of my usual pre AF spotting yet, the cramps are there though, really bad actually. I caved and tested and I'm kicking myself because I knew it would be negative and it was.

We shall see what the next few days bring!!

@justanothermummma I'm on like CD 6/7 but feeling so confused. Was due period on 1st July. Started spitting on the 3rd. Then nothing by that night. Then on the 6th I started spitting again until that night. Nothing since. Ordered some tests to be delivered tomorrow to see what's going on but if it's negative then I'm due to ovulate on the 17th-19th🤞🏼x
