@CAGH03 I would have to agree with @emmatcc1
I would never want to come across rude or give unwanted advice, but it does sound like you have a heck of a lot on your plates already with finances and finding a permanent place to live & reliable income.
And you said about your mental health not being good this last year.. having a baby is only likely to exacerbate any symptoms you are already struggling with.

I hope you're ok and I hope whatever happens it's the best outcome for your health and your future baby. X

emmatcc1 · 06/07/2023 08:57

@CAGH03 You and your partner have all this stress on your backs. I don’t wanna be rude but maybe a baby at this time where you have to wait for money to even buy a pregnancy test isn’t the best. In my opinion I wouldn’t do it. A situation where you have a permanent place to live and an income with left over money at the end of the month would be better. And the stress could have an impact on your pregnancy as well.

We still have a really good income coming in and our own place we just want something bigger. I've already said we're taking it easy now as we have the wedding in a year so when it happens it happens x

CAGH03 · 06/07/2023 11:41

@dabs9 I've only been struggling a little because of the ttc, I felt a lot better at the start of it but it's been a yearπŸ₯² like I said to @emmatcc1, we're still ttc but not doing it as much as we were, it's been a year now and nothing has worked so I'll just stay off of birth control and it will just happen when my body is ready! We have somewhere permanent to live, we just want somewhere bigger and closer to the city, and even tho I don't have a job now, I've got three interviews coming up next week in the city and my fiancΓ© is on π”―π”’π”žπ”©π”©π”Ά good money x x

dabs9 · 06/07/2023 11:46

@CAGH03 TTC for sure has a huge impact on mental health, it's so hard.
Just make sure you're looking after yourself, I guess that's all I was trying to say in my message haha.

Maybe your partner could buy you a preggo test if you need one? πŸ’•

He would definitely send the money for one if I needed too, I just absolutely HATE asking anyone for anything. He says to me all the time if I need to borrow anything or money, to just ask but I always feel so rude so I don'tπŸ₯² but he would if I asked him. I struggled a lot mentally when I was like 13-17 and then I met my fiancΓ© and I've gotten so much better, just over 14 months self harm free☺️ plus it was a very quick decision to decide to move again but where we are just isn't working. He's also said he would pay the rent for a few months while I pay to finish driving lessons and get my license, as it's like Β£80 for 2 hours 😩 overall we're in a good place but where we live is very small and would be much happier in a bigger place x

emmatcc1 · 06/07/2023 12:06

@CAGH03 I’ve also struggled with mental health at about the same age as you and know that it never really leaves you. I feel you on moving we could make it work in the house we have currently but we agreed bigger would be better for future but the prices are mad high.

CAGH03 · 06/07/2023 12:08

@emmatcc1 that's exactly what we are thinking, the city is a lot more expensive but my fiancΓ© is certain we can afford it, which he probably could just on his ownπŸ₯² which is why we're going to stay with his mum for a month or two to save up like Β£2,500 for deposit and first month. I'd be able to get a much better job too as there's so many more jobs in the city than where we are at the moment x

emmatcc1 · 06/07/2023 15:40

Unfortunately I have to stop ttc for a bit as we found out my mom has a gene mutation that significantly increases the chances of breast cancer and it’s hereditary so I have to get tested as well and I don’t want to pass it on.

SnookyPook · 06/07/2023 16:23

@emmatcc1 so sorry to hear that - hope you're ok? Must be a lot to take in. Sending hugs x

I am so sorry to to hear this! What hard news to hear. πŸ˜”It's never easy and especially when it comes to potential genes being passed on. Sending you a lot of luck that you don't have the BRCA gene. Take it easy and make sure you have a wine or whatever it is you enjoy, so you have something nice to do. x😘

Annapolis35 · 06/07/2023 18:09

Ah, so difficult to tell! I have had AF start like this when TTC. But equally lots of women spot a little when pregnant.

If no sign of AF tomorrow maybe take a test xx

@Vic231 @SnookyPook @Bubblesandtroubles @dabs9 @GCS34 @Annapolis35 Thank you so much for your well wishes, it means a lot πŸ₯ΉπŸ’œ sorry for the delay, I've had a busy work week.

I hope you all don't mind me sticking around in the background, I'm invested in your journeysand don't want to bounce ! I'm hoping there's another BFP on its way soon πŸ™πŸ» x

SnookyPook · 06/07/2023 21:26

@LeopardLover was absolutely hoping you would stick around! You're one of the gang! Hopefully we'll get to share our own good news sometime soon πŸ₯°

Vic231 · 06/07/2023 21:31

@LeopardLover yes! Please stay, I think your hilarious and supportive in equal measure πŸ˜‚

@SnookyPook I hope you don't mind me asking but after your loss were you exhausted? I'm shocked by how tired I am and assuming it's the change in hormones in a short time?

SnookyPook · 06/07/2023 21:35

@Vic231 yes I was quite wiped out. Bit hard to disentangle from the grief and lethargy/not wanting to do much because of that. I was off work for 2 weeks and then had a holiday booked and went on that and it was then that I started to feel a bit more normal. But I certainly did loads of resting in those first days/weeks. As you say, mega changes to hormones but also all the emotional aspect is exhausting too. Look after yourself. How are you doing? ❀️

dabs9 · 06/07/2023 21:50

@LeopardLover of course and you need to keep us updated with your pregnancy progress! πŸ₯°

I'm 99% out this month. Started spotting at 8dpo this evening which is normal for me pre period. So on to the next month πŸ™ƒ xx

Annapolis35 · 06/07/2023 22:54

@LeopardLover please do stick around, you’ve been very kind and it’ll be nice to hear how you get on.

@Vic231 sorry about your loss. I also had a mc last year and felt exhausted. I think it’s normal, you’re going through a lot hormonally and emotionally. Eat lots of chocolate and sit on the sofa.

@dabs9 sorry, that really sucks. I always get spotting too a couple of days before, I hate seeing it. Hope you’re ok.
