I mean, I workout and eat healthily but I’m pretty sure I’ve probs got type 2 diabetes. 👀 I am a bit like that with SHEIN - apparently they contribute a huge amount for global warming and I can’t pretend that I don’t know a 7 year old probably made my dress. Don’t be daft I don’t mind. I think awareness of fertility treatment needs to be more widely spoken about as people just don’t know unless you’re in it. And that’s totally fine to ask.

so on cd1 so your first day of your period, you start injecting and do it every day until you have one or two dominant follicles. Normal people your body produces the hormones itself to stimulate the follicles, but I don’t have that so I have to inject hormones to do it for my body as it’s not doing it itself. You do it every day for about 12-14 days like a normal natural cycle, then when you have one that is big enough to release (13mm and above) you do a different type of injection called a trigger injection, that makes you ovulate 24hrs later. then the rest is natural as you girls. The only benefit is I know exactly when I ovulate aka 24hours after I do the injection. Xx

And I work in academia - psychology researcher. @LeopardLover I used to be very nervous but the more you do it the less daunting it gets. I quite enjoy it these days! It does depend on how prepared you are and how well you know your topic though!

no. remember my scan 2 weeks ago where they said that nothing had grown and my body was resisting the drugs this Time for no reason? And we had to Just stop and I was really upset. Well we had to abandon that cycle as it wasn’t working. Then our consultant said it’s best to give you body a few weeks off to try and get it to calm down, then go again. So the scan is to make sure that I’m not about to naturally ovulate or something (a miracle if I was!) because I don’t have a period and you’d start on day 1 usually, I don’t know when cd1 is as I don’t have a period, so it is to check that were good to start the stim injections (the ones for 14 days to grow the follicle).

Absolutely fine. I've had like 30 scans. All it is on Friday is to check everything is calmed down to start there and then so literally not bothered. Get used to Dildo-cam after a while and what they poke and prod in there. I just want to get going with the injections so I am looking forward to the scan. The one at day 11 is always the one I get nervous for as that is the one where it's under stimmed and cancel cuz my body's resisted (what happened last month), good to trigger, or over stimmed and have to cancel. The rest I'm sound with x

@GCS34 I can imagine, such a horrible story. One of my friends is a paramedic and was one of the first on scene - it's shaken her quite a lot even though she obviously deals with horrible stuff all the time. Don't know how they do it. 😞

I actually work at a University so not NHS. I'm in North Derbyshire, right on the edge of the Peaks 😊

I know it's awful. My sister said in town it's really weird. I've not been in myself. Your poor friend I feel so sorry for her. It's really shaken me - I think it's their ages, and the fact that it was totally unprovoked and stabbing to me feels far more emotive - like you physically feel it, and it just find it harrowing. Your friend is such a hero. But tell her to get some time away - I can imagine a lot of people will struggle for a bit from the forces.

Hahahaha! He went to bed at 9.30pm last night and was up at 6.30! But tonight he went to bed at 7.30pm. He didn't sleep until gone 11pm until he was about 18 months 😅 he's never been a sleeper! It's better these days. I used to love sleep but I can cope on less than my husband - despite us thinking he'd be the one that could handle it!

H&M is closed for refurb. If you can believe. I might need to go shopping on Sunday... Without Adolf 👀 then you can pack for me!

I'm having an absolute mare, we seem to have some kind of bug infestation in our spare room. I legit can't even cope. I think we'll have to burn everything and start again. Don't ask me what the bug is - no idea 😫

Another manic week at work so I've been reading but not posting.

So I think last night/this morning is my surge. (I just use the strips not the smileys) almost back in the TWW!

What confuses me though is when I put that into my app it says I ovulated that day- but doesn't the surge come before the actual egg pops out?

Anyway been covering bases since Tuesday. So more of the same today enough or maybe tomorrow too to really throw everything at the cause?

@LeopardLover I hope your house is still standing the time you read this! We once had an infestation of teeny flies at work and I had to empty the shelves at the local Wilkinsons of every fly/bug related spray, killer, catcher. I swear the woman at the till thought I must have been dealing with storing a dead body the way she looked at me.

Unfortunately it feels the opposite 😩 a few people at work were really happy to hear the news and gave me Saturday night off this weekend to celebrate, but my family are more interested in celebrating Father's Day and think we should wait a few months to celebrate..🥲 but I won't be off at a weekend now for Atleast 4/5 weeks so think me and my FIANCÉ are going to go for a few quiet drinks Saturday night x

I keep saying boyfriend instead of fiancé because it hasn't quite hit my yet thinking of June 2025 for the wedding so we can save enough and not end up struggling with money again. Already been looking at dresses! And my mum lives on a farm and would love a barn wedding! 🤞🏼x

@A95x that's what I said, I'd rather just go out the two of us for a few drinks than have a huge amount of people around 🤣 but he wants to wait until friends and family can be there. 🤞🏼 will just go for a couple drinks tomorrow night x
