it’s cycle 1. Honestly we were thinking we might wait a little longer initially but the timing just felt right. We fell pregnant 1st cycle last time so I’m trying not to go into it with expectations of it being the same second time around 😅

Yes we've been practicing our BD for holidays 🙄😂 he said it's going to fall off by the time we're home 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

@glasspaw Welcome! So cute you have a 17 month year old 🥰 @Bubblesandtroubles is that the same age as your little one? Your husband's allergy sounds really serious but I'm sure you're always ready with that epipen! And it's great your son isn't showing any signs of having the same thing.

I only like the Optimum Nutrition Whey! I feel like I tried a few vegan ones once upon a time but I have a sweet tooth 😅 I also have IBS @GCS34 - so much fun!

I ordered a few camping bits last night, I just need outfits. But my wellies got stolen last year (LOL) so I think my only remaining Hunters are bright blue. Hopefully I can sort everything this weekend - off to a baby shower which will be cute 🥰

Oh that's not too bad. Are we talking like cobalt blue? you need to get yourself on SHEIN (sorry David Atto - I know they're the worst contributor to global warming) and get some cute outfits! Defo on the packing list should be denim shorts, cycling shorts, thin shirts, some cute tribal dresses, vest tops, some big baggy tshirt dress. Leather jacket. Done. And sexy underware for babymaking times. And wine. a lot of wine. DONE

This is really random but it's upset me. Just got a message from my MIL telling one of my sisters in law is pregnant and due on the 22nd December. I haven't responded. She wasn't even trying for another baby, she's already got 3. It just made me sad as we've been trying for 11 months now and she's due two days after my birthday. And Also, she's told me about her pregnancy, but she didn't tell his siblings about the engagement? I've told one of them, the others don't know yet. Why is life so frustrating 😩

I've been there got that tee shirt 💖 so I have all the sympathy for you , your feelings are totally normal when TTC ❤️❤️ it's a horrible feeling seeing others get pregnant while your trying everything to , our times will come 🥰 I hope your ok xxx

@A95x I just feel so selfish getting upset about it, and this sounds even worse, but MIL messaged me and said to tell my OH.. why didn't she just message him first?😅 to be fair, our families don't know were Ttc but it still really upset me, especially as we've just got engaged and now this has happened, it just like grrrr😩
I haven't even had the chance to process that I'm getting married yet, and it feels like everyone's moved onto something more exciting 🤣 Ttc is already a difficult journey when we've been trying for so long, it just made me feel like crap💔😔

It hurts I totally understand that 😞 it's just one of them things , just try not to think to much into it as this will really get to you , I went weeks without speaking to friends because I was so heartbroken I felt like a right bitch for that and a very shit friend , all my friends have little ones I'm just the crazy Aunite to all these babies 🥰 I'm still ringless 5 years down the line ( I'm not putting pressure on my oh just a in side joke my dad's in on it to ) it's the next chapter in your life to look forward to think of all the positive 🥰 watch all the stress of wedding planning commence 🙌 you will get there ❤️xxx

Ah you're still super early then in your TTC month. Have you had a full cycle yet, or is this the first one you're trying? We're all here for the long haul 😅I think the longest is 2 years, and shortest, is you! Hopefully you can pass on your baby luck and one of us has our month this month x

You going to do an OPK pre holiday or you not wanting to know and just have lots of sex 'just because' (it's never just because when it's ttc time 😂) xx

@GCS34 My app is saying I'm probably going ovulate while I'm here the 19th it should be 😂 we have been like rabbits last month and again this month 🙄 so I say we're practicing , my oh has been taking Maca root and his sex drive was high before but now I can't even get dressed Infront of him chasing me around the house before work at 4 am 😂 so your cd 9 ? And starting to test the weekend ? Are you doing anything different this month xxx

No, I’m not anywhere at the moment - I am going in for my scan a week on Friday then hopefully start the injections then too. Hoping the break will have helped my body and it will start responding this time. I’m not sure I could cope with another abandoned. It’s really hard and like now, I am stuck in limbo and don’t feel like I’m making any progress. Least if I’m injecting I feel like I’m moving forward. X

Yes he is 😂 I don't feel anything this month no stress of TTC , oh I got.mt fingers cross for you 🤞 sorry to ask but I don't have a clue how any of this works like with injections , do you inject when you start to ovulate or is the injections to help you ovulate sorry if I sound like a thicko I don't normally comment on these when I see cause I literally get so confused 🤦🏼‍♀️ , you are moving forward your one step closer I really hope Friday is all good news for you , is your oh going with you ? @Amy95 yeah I do this all the time normally, daydream about telling him and how he'll react haha. But I've tried to stop doing it recently as I think it makes me more sad sometimes.
I think I'll start doing bbt and opks CD13/14 as unlikely for me to get positive before that.

Will you be in Tenerife through most of your two?? X

@dadabs9 I'm exactly the same I drive myself mad mun 😂 I'm glad I'm not the only one doing it , I agree I also make myself very sad I'm my own enemy sometimes , well not long to go for you and you will poas 🙌 ummm yes I should be then the big o is due around the 19th , I feel so weird this month maybe because I'm not stressing about it and thinking I need to poas every day 🤷🏼‍♀️ a nice relaxed approach, you need that sometimes I find , but I've ordered tests ready for next month 🙌🤞 xx

Evening All! Been a bit AWOL today as was speaking at a conference and not really been on my phone.

@GCS34 my DH proposed at a picnic on the riverbank in the grounds of a local country house that has a lovely river running by it (Chatsworth - one of our fave places for a walk). It was the two of us and my now step-daughter (he had asked her permission first 🥰). We got married 9 months later - didn't hang around! Haha! Fairly intimate wedding - church ceremony and then a reception at a local small hotel in the Peak District so stunning views 🥰 Was end of April and bit of a mixed bag weather wise but nothing put a dampener on the day. I had ordered a beautiful lacy brolly for the occasion (can't really plan a UK wedding in April and not expect a few showers eh?!) So was quite glad when I got to use it 😆

You'd definitely hand Adolf back 🤣❤️ he just went to sleep after a long battle 🙈 EDIT: he woke up again so we had even more tears.

Bright blue! Turquoise maybe? BUT this actually a massive help. I can't bring myself to shop at SHEIN (any more) and they won't deliver in time but I'll head to H&M on lunch tomorrow. I have to pick up some over priced Crocs for our little drama queen.

Come organise my wardrobe and pack for me! Problem is, on nights like these I only get about 30 mins to myself so I have more important things to do. Like messaging you gals 😉x

I remember when my dad wanted to ask his wife to marry him and asked me and my sister. That’s lovely that you got married fast. I think we were a year and 3months. But we had lockdown to not spend, and save!

that sounds so beautiful. We had a small ish wedding too. 70 at the church and 50 for the wedding breakfast and evening. Oh wow it sounds lovely. I totally want to see pics but it’s also MAD public here 😂 xx
