@TheBirdintheCave I'm glad it's getting fainter - at this stage, increasing hormones would only mean ectopic, so I really didn't want to see a strong line today! It's amazing how things change so quick.

@RunningOnHope glad to hear it's sounding less like ectopic.

Had day 9 follicle scan today - 1x 20mm 1x17mm and 1x12mm
So we've decided to cancel and start again after a bleed. Gutted. They said we could go ahead with EC but they're confident we can do better if I start again on a higher dose. We only get 1 round on NHS.

The consultant thinks we should be able to get 10 eggs based on my AMH and age.

Urfft so now I'm waiting to bleed 🙄

Appointment done - they're satisfied there's no evidence of ectopic, my lining is very thin and back to normal, so just sent home with a couple more tests to do and ring them when it goes negative. Feeling relieved and hoping we can rest now.

@RunningOnHope absolutely not what we had hoped for but thank goodness not an ectopic. Well done for getting through these last few weeks. You're a trooper xx

@RunningOnHope what a huge relief its not ectopic now you can start to move forward with your life and focus on the next steps.

So sorry @SaraSS that is gutting to have to start over and also wait again.

@SaraSS that must feel so frustrating when you've got this far. Definitely better to do the absolute best they can though for that one NHS cycle and hopefully get you some great results next time. Hang in there!

Thank you @RunningOnHope tested this evening as we can't test together tomorrow morning and stark white negative at 11dp3dt after a 5 hour hold. Accepting that this is a failed cycle with nothing in the freezer either ☹️ annoyed at myself for even getting hopeful to be honest. 💔

So sorry to hear there’s been such difficult news from so many.

@RunningOnHope I hope you’re doing alright this evening and able to rest and recover. It’s been such an exhausting, confusing rollercoaster this past week and a half, you are an absolute warrior xx

@SaraSS This must be so disappointing, I am sorry. I am sure that the result you get with the next cycle will be worth this cancelled one though xx

@lemons44 I tested at at 12dp3dt and got negatives on hpt, even clear blue. They’ve only just started showing visibly positive for me yesterday, which was 17dp3dt. Sorry - I am not trying to give bad advice or false hope, but I know that hpt can be less sensitive than we expect, especially if not using fmu.

I went off for my 4th hcg blood test this morning, and the result had gone up from 57 to 408, was completely amazed and bewildered, and the nurse was stumped. ‘Something is clearly growing’ in her words 🤨. She is concerned that it could be ectopic due to the bleeding last week, so I’m going in on Friday for a scan to try and locate the embryo. It is quite scary but probably best to be positive until I have reason not to be.

@Triselly this is great to hear, as you know bleeding in itself doesn't mean bad news... I knew deep down it was for me because I'd passed white tissue with it, as well as the blood. Has yours just been blood? So hoping this turns out well for you. Not long til Friday.

@lemons44 Really sorry to hear that. Will you keep testing for a few more days as @Triselly says? That sounds pretty early for an OTD - I got my first faint positive on 10dp5dt, so 15 days altogether. So sorry if it is a definite negative though, it's so tough. xx

@CR7 yes we've decided we'll pay for what we can. We want to try and increase our chances as much as we can.

@RunningOnHope I hope your hand gets better soon, that was some nasty bruising. I'm sorry than it's ended this way but I'm pleased for you that it's not an ectopic and now you can start to move on. When you're ready you can plan for whats next. You e been so amazingly strong through it all!

@SaraSS I'm so sorry that the scan didn't go as hoped today. It's so frustrating when we get curveballs on this journey. That's really positive that the consultant is confident they can get a good number of eggs next time What dosage did they start you on originally? They do often say the first cycle is almost a test / benchmark cycle, at least they've learnt from it and feel confident they have an approach to move forward positively. And you still get your full cycle with all these learnings, which will definitely help to get you the best results.

@lemons44 I'm so sorry. Thinking of you if it is definitely negative. Have you updated the clinic or will you do that tomorrow? I think the other ladies are right and I might continue to test for a few more days if I was in your position. I never made it to OTD but mine was scheduled for 13dp5dt. As @Triselly says, it can take a while to show especially if implantation is delayed, and on a 3dt I'd have expected a later test date.

@Triselly that's such confusing news, but really positive! I'm keeping everything crossed for you that it's not ectopic and just a delayed implantation.

Hey @charja100 thanks for the message. I started on 225 ui for 5 days then moved up to 350ui for 4 days. The second scan was on morning of day 10. The difference on day 10 was quite big as I had 4 under 10mm on the left at day 5 but by day 10 I had 1 at 20mm and one at 17mm, so they shot up in those few days.
Interestingly, on the right, I had one at 11mm on day 5 and it had only grown to 12mm by day 10. I had some smaller ones on the right too but they didn't grow at all.
It's been noticed a couple of times that although my AMH is OK at 10, I don't have many follicles whenever I've had scans (before IVF started) or not enough at expected size. I wonder if this could be a reason behind the infertility & I'm not actually ovulating well / often.
Anyway, I'll stop blabbering lol, it's good to learn something even if this attempt hasn't worked out 🙂

Thank you everyone. I honestly can't stop crying. Tested again this morning as it's my OTD given to me by the clinic and negative again. Not even a shadow. My period hasn't come yet but I know for some people it doesn't come until they stop the progesterone. I will keep testing, we have to do a fingerprick blood test on 3 days, but I think we have accepted it's over for us xx

So sorry for everyone who had bad news yesterday or this morning. This is cruel ride :(

@CR7 do you know how long you have to wait between egg transfers? I will ask my clinic but just trying to mentally prepare for what will be next.

I did duo stim which was back to back with only five days in between for my second and third cycles.

My friend has bought a package of three collections and she has a month off after each one for her body to recover xx @lemons44
