OP posts:

Good morning all

Heron that is right, and I think there have been a few threads recently on MN where people have said it has worked for them, but in with the ones that worked are the odd ones that don't work, so it isn't a definate.

Kay, I don't know whther to get excited for your symptoms, or tell you off!! It is too early for such symptoms, but to hell with it, let's get excited!! Since Teuch has dissapeared, we'll have to replace her with you

Not feeling too clever this morning drank a whole bottle of wine to myself last night, was a bad idea. Feel like I have been jumped on about 1000 times! Please remind me of this when I am pregnant and moaning that I can't have a proper drink

Why is it that we didn't even sex at the right times this month yet here I am symptom spotting? I bloody hate TTC'ing, and waiting to TTC is even worse! Grrrr!

Oh, Diege, it was the Chinese new year apparently yesterday, according to someone on that thread. Have now got someone on there trying to work out who my MIL is, as much as I don't them asking, I don't really want them knowing all the things I have said on here about MIL, would be WW3 if it got to back her!!

kayzisbroody · 22/02/2008 09:18

The chinese new year was last week.

I text dh telling him I felt awful and he was all excited thinking I had morning sickness. Nope it's nothing. I dont OV til tomorrow so I know its not symptoms!! But I will blame me eating his pot noodle for breakfast on cravings!!

We'll remind you Nat. I drank a whole bottle of wine Saturday night and felt awful.

kayzisbroody · 22/02/2008 09:23

No actually chinese new year was 2 weeks ago. The 7th as we went to get a takeaway and they were closed for new year!!

NatalieJane · 22/02/2008 09:25

I thought I'd heard something about it last week Kay, wasn't taking very much noticed because DH was talking.

Ahhh give over, who cares if you don't OV till tomorrow, they ARE symptoms OK?!!!! LOL Have you felt the baby move yet LOL

kayzisbroody · 22/02/2008 09:27

Yes!!! I had wind yesterday and it felt exactly like it did when I was pg with ds.

NatalieJane · 22/02/2008 09:39

PMSL that's the spirit

Any swollen ankles?

We're gonna have you pictures as a 9 month pregnant woman by the end of today

NatalieJane · 22/02/2008 09:39

pictured even

kayzisbroody · 22/02/2008 09:40

Right I'm off to go and look at the new Co-Op. Don't know why, I work at Co-Op so I doubt its any different just smaller.

If I think of any more symptoms I'll tell you

NatalieJane · 22/02/2008 10:13

OK sweetie, have a good time

I have got DH on his way home, me and DS2 are taking it in turns to be sick, literally, I've already changed his clothes 3 times, I can't do it again! LOL What a wuss I am, poor old DS1 is sitting there watching DS1 being sick, me clearing it up and then me rushing to the bathroom, to come back down to DS2 being sick again.... it is not funny!

Will probably get into bed when he get's home so won't be on, keep the symptom spotting going

Playingthewaitinggame · 22/02/2008 10:48

Morning all, what a start to the morning, been rushing round like a head less chicken, I don't know, actually having to do work at work!! Sounds like Kay and Natalie everyone had a good time last night. Hope you start feeling better Natalie, are you sure the vomitting is not a sympton?

kayzisbroody · 22/02/2008 11:54

Hello, the new Co-Op is kinda cool. Its all new and shiny as opposed to ours being old and crummy.

No new symptoms I'm afraid.

Hope you are better soon Nat X

Diege · 22/02/2008 11:58

Exactly what I thought Playing .
Nat, I wouldn't worry too much about MIL business. The liklihood of anything getting passed on is soooo remote, plus nyou'd never know anyway would you (waves to NJ's MIL if she's lurking ).
Well, back from playbarn - posh Cheshire hell-on-earth, loads of overly earnest 'career mummies' trying to plead with their Los to behave 'please Henrietta darling, we don't drink Felix's drink do we??' (FFS, just give them a fruitshoot ).
Right, lunchtime!

kayzisbroody · 22/02/2008 12:25

I took ds to one of those the other week and there was this woman who was there, very snotty whose kids were called Tabitha and Felix. Dh was nearly wetting himself when she called them as he thought she was calling cats.

kayzisbroody · 22/02/2008 12:39

Is eating half a bar of THE most amazingly tasty bar of chocolate a symptom?

Starshinetiger · 22/02/2008 12:42

Poor you Nat, hope you feel better soon - this is the one thing that puts me off pregnancy again - the morning sickness. Really not sure I can cope with that while looking after DS - I'm a wuss, aren't I?! Hope you, DSs and DH all get better soon.
Diege and Kay, am PMSL at career mummies and Tabitha & Felix! These kind of playbarns are excellent for people watching!

I have so much to do at work before we finish at 4pm today, but I'm using eating my lunch at my desk as an excuse to be on here instead. Ah well, is less taxing that this evening though, as I have to clean whole house ready for visitors this weekend, all before 9pm when DH will get home and I need to be ready to jump him ! Last weekend was spurred on by Nat's tales of rumpy pumpy in the lounge and had very enjoyable evenings, practising for when we're ready TTC - TMI anyone! !
Is great exercise too and I need it to help with my crash diet to try to slim into some of my old suits for next week - any tips anyone (especially tips on how to diet when you've got visitors all weekend and need to feed them!
If I don't get on again before, have a lovely weekend all.

kayzisbroody · 22/02/2008 12:52

We're having ds christened next month and my sister and niece are coming to stay at ours. We have a tiny flat and we're starting to try and work out where we are going to put them.

Diege · 22/02/2008 12:55

Hi STAR! You are not a wuss for dreading the 'morning ' sickness! I n fact that's one of the reasons why I'm waiting till April (less of a work load at work in summer months)and missing out June (hols July/Aug).
Kay, what's the bar of choccy you're eating then????
NJ, hope the sickness is short-lived. It's so horrible being poorly .

kayzisbroody · 22/02/2008 12:56

Its some Co-Op fairtrade milk chocolate. Its so good!! And I get discount!!
YAY Discount!!!

Diege · 22/02/2008 12:58

Just realised 'Tabitha' is on my 'girl' list , and on someone else's too?? Come on, own up... I've had, and not used. Mathilda now 3 times - really like full name and also 'Tilly', or 'Tilda'. The only name left on my list (I have used 3!!) is Saffron, which always gets a whenever mentioned .
Kay, re: christening dilemma, could you just get a sofa bed/put me up on the nlounge floor? (or offer them your bed and sleep downstairs youself if you're feeling magnaminous?) Or if they get arsey, they could try a B&B nearby?

Diege · 22/02/2008 12:59

Mmmmmm, sounds gorg

Playingthewaitinggame · 22/02/2008 12:59

I have all the joys of "play barns" to come!

Hmm, eating healthy with guests, difficult.

Lets see:

Salmon Salad nicoise, Lovely fillet of salmon, nice big salad with yummy tuna, eggs, olives, capers etc. Looks good tastes good.

Poached chicken breast served with olive oil roasted (or chargrilled) Mediterranean vegetables of a bed of mushroom "healhty" (e.g no cheese) riosotto/bed of wild rice.

Thai marrinated tuna steak (no coconut milk, just simple flavors like olive oil, chilli, corrainder, ginger etc) served with stir fried vegetables and rice noddles.

Roast chicken with olive oil roasted (or chargrilled) Mediterranean vegetables and olive oil roasted potatos (and only have 1 yourself).

Nice veggie pasta sauce with wholegrain pasta

Or anything veggie but not too heavy on carbs.

Playingthewaitinggame · 22/02/2008 13:00

My sister is Tilly, short for Natalie (Na-tilly). Really suits her.

kayzisbroody · 22/02/2008 13:01

There is nothing wrong with Tabitha or Felix for that matter but when together it sounds like a couple of cats.

We have 2 airbeds that we are going to use but its just if they'll fit in the lounge or if we should move ds's cot into our room for the night, so they can have his room

BeMyLilBaby · 22/02/2008 13:05

havent had a chance to read the posts, but thought id say hello ! mega busy at wrk today and off after today, so wont get to post until i get laptop tues....SO here's hoping my 21sts great

and ill catch up with you guys ASAP xx

Playingthewaitinggame · 22/02/2008 13:06

Difficult Kay. Personally I would go with baby in your room and give them the spare room if its big enough. When we have baby, babies room will also be spare room (third bedroom is our dressing room). Its a big room and we have one of those Ikea single day beds that pulls out to make a king size bed when needed. Going to keep it in babies room as it only takes up the space of a single bed so there will be plenty of room,
