New thread for those of us now trying for the first babies of 2024, may we all be lucky this month!

I'm CD1 today of cycle 6 ttc my second.
Had a chemical at the end of February and lots of illness in March so revved up to give this month all I've got!

@Savvy21 i love that! I need to take a leaf out of your book. I really wanted to go to New York at Christmas but that feels like a big gamble 😅

@Sophie3839 i hope that’s a true line, best of luck with your FRER test! Will have everything crossed for you.

@TunnocksTCake my AF is not due now until 5/5 which was previously the 30th I think. Longer to wait now to test!!! I can’t imagine my cycle being 34 days long?? I bet my Luteal phase will be short, And Af will arrive right on schedule! I read that short LP is not good!

@Bluebell0921 when is your AF due?

@Babyhopeful23 it was due on 26th but now due on 30th. 6 days and counting 😆

Hi everyone, I've been pretty Q on here since my CP and just waiting patiently for ovulation to happen. Would you say I'm 1DPO now? I had positive LH on Saturday night/all day Sunday and first thing Monday morning, by 10am yesterday my LH dropped right back down to a very negative test. My temp normally takes 2 days or so to increase.

NC is waiting to confirm I assume it's waiting for another increase in temp tomorrow before it confirms O but just wanting others thoughts 🤣 x

@Sophie3839 any more testing since yesterday?

@Bluebell0921 ah its so hard with holidays etc, I just go ahead and book but dont go past 7 months in advance iyswim? The way I see it is Id rather be feeling ill on holiday and at work and youve got to get those holidays in while you can!

@Babyhopeful23 My AF due 6th so we will be buddies! I think if you definitely ad delayed Ovulation I would expect the same luteal phase, no reason for that to be shorter as well as delayed o.

@Angelselevenx Yes I reckon 1dpo, youve given yourself a really good chance there! Whens your af due?

My DD woke up at 4am (in the stage of dropping her nap & she had one yesterday which meant night time wanderings!) but that meant I didnt get to do my temp so app hasnt confirmed O but I am pretty sure I am 3dpo today. Hate this part. Anyone have any 2ww tricks & tips to help implantation?

@TunnocksTCake I hope so! AF is due on 7th April if I have my normal 31 day cycle which would make me 13dpo (I have a shorter LP of 11/12 days)

I've heard keeping the uterus warm helps with implantation! Not sure how true that is though x

Ok on cd12 no sign of ovulation yet my tests have been really low, so my ovulation must be out of whack! 🫣

Hi all! I'm 28 and TTC baby #2. I have a 17 month old. We were going to wait til next month or June as we've 2 holidays booked between now and October but I don't mind being pregnant for them. I'm 2DPO so joining the waiting gang! Had my first positive in Mumsnet and met some fabulous people on it. Sending baby dust to all xx

I’m CD11 today I was late ovulating last month.
so I haven’t touched an OPK yet as my mental space with TTC is just not there.
Likely because we’re due to jump onto the IVF train in the next few weeks and accepting that has been difficult.

I want to be all excited and thrilled this month but perhaps I’m not where I need to be 🙃

@lottieb92 ❤️ maybe leave the opks this cycle and just try and be as basic about it as possible, I agree they really mess with your head! I said I wouldn't do it after having my son as I was the same prior to getting pregnant with him but have have in this month and can feel the stress & anxiety that comes along with it. Will not bother next cycle and just dtd every 2nd day xx

@Daniki i think I might, I just always feel a sense of failure if I’ve followed them to a T and count down my DPO etc, it’ll be nice just DTD as and when I suspect and hope for the best 🤍

@TunnocksTCake i didn’t test today in the end but decided I’ll use up the remaining boots test tomorrow as didn’t have time to get a FRER 🤦‍♂️

@lottieb92 i can totally relate to the opk stress. Ttc is so stressful, I hope you get your bfp this month 🥰

im starting next round of IVF in July. Has anyone got any positive stories of 3rd round?

Also has anyone found after IVF that their cycle dates are much different? I used to be 27/28 days every month and now average is 33 but was 37 last month!

14dpo and control line def darker than test line. Anyone with experience with these tests shed any light? I’d expect a dye stealer by now with such sensitive tests 10m/mol
theg are the boots 5 days early btw and line took ages to develop

@Sophie3839 A lot said that these tests took ages to get darker and by 14dpo they were still light so that’s a really good line try testing with other brands.

@Sophie3839 im fighting the urge to test until AF due on Sunday. Im actually late already but I ovulated 5 days later than usual so I know I’m only 10po so no point.
