New thread for those of us now trying for the first babies of 2024, may we all be lucky this month!

I'm CD1 today of cycle 6 ttc my second.
Had a chemical at the end of February and lots of illness in March so revved up to give this month all I've got!

@Floralsandsmiles I'm okay thank you, feeling more positive now, still lightly bleeding but hoping that'll stop soon 🤔. Gearing the OH up for a busy few weeks 🤣 xxx

Aww I'm so glad! Hopefully you will fall quick! I have seen a few ladies fall the next cycle after a CP xxxx

Hi all! New in here 💗

I had a MC at 8 weeks on 5th March and currently on Day 3 of my first cycle since! Going to start ovulation tests from whenever AF goes off on her travels and start DTD from then too.

TTC baby number 2, currently have an 8 year old Daughter!

Bowels have just opened (Sorry for TMI) which normally means full blown AF is on her way and I can feel her this morning already 😔 xxxx

Does anyone have any insight? The top OPK test was last nights and the bottom this mornings. I'm on (I think) CD5 after my CP/Early miscarriage. I didn't think I'd potentially ovulate this quickly afterwards?

Hi can I join AF is due on wednesday and temp have been dropping and having cramps so I'm out this cycle. Going on to cycle number 9 and already so tired thinking it's never gonna happen.

O goodness, I didn't know you could ovulate when bleeding.. but it looks like it's coming @Angelselevenx xxxx

@emmatcc1 hey Emma not at all, it took me a year with my first to get pregnant. Do you ovulate round the same time every month?
If so, why don't you and your partner book a night or two away round that time so yous can relax and take the pressure off? 🥰

@Angelselevenx I wouldn't be surprised if you are, I always ovulated straight after my period round day 9 (always lasted a week 🙄) are you heavy bleeding or light? I was always really light towards the end which was a pain in the arse but I'd do the same and make OH go for it 😂 x

@Daniki really? I don't normally get peak until day21 but I'm only on CD5ish/heavy bleeding after the CP.

It was heavy, but it's much lighter now 🤔 it could just be my cycles are so messed up now. I haven't had a temp drop yet either xx

Morning all! I had a really obvious peak on Friday 15th so DTD fri, sat and yesterday.

However, I’ve not had an obvious BBT rise. My RHR has increased on my Fitbit, but OPK is just a bit flat.

Has anyone had this? I can’t decide if BBT isn’t for me or whether I geared up to ovulate but didn’t.

@Daniki No my cycles go from 24-29 days and it almost always happens that I ovulate during weekdays so we can't go anywhere as he has a high position at his job and needs to be there.

@Angelselevenx when I was first trying to conceive I didn't track ovulation always went by the Flo app and then after about 10 months I started tracking and discovered I ovulated early and got pregnant then either the first or second cycle after! But I'd say it's changed since the miscarriages, same as yourself it just be's all over the place!

@Floralsandsmiles sorry you have been caught by Af, I hope youre feeling ok?

@Angelselevenx I have never had that but I tend to ovulate around CD17. I guess go for it but keep doing OPKs in case its a false alarm? I had 2 surges last month after my chemical but only one temp rise.

@Mushroo hmm, could either be you didnt ovulate, and your body might try again, OR you may see a BBT rise tomorrow, sometimes you get a dip before the true rise and looks like you started to rise but then had a big dip today so I would say keep temping and you will likely see it go back up tomorrow. If not keep opking,but hopefully thats it! Have you been temping for long?

@emmatcc1 sorry youre havign a tough time, it is so soul destroying but maybe as others have said if you are regular and can take some pressure off that may be worth doing.

For those asking about testing I did a medichecks at home hormone test which tested thyroid, AMH and all sorts and I found it really put my mind to rest. It as fairly cheap too and you can pay estra for someone to do your bloods for you rather than the finger prick.

No news here, just coming to the end of AF so in the boring stage of waiting....! CD6 so a few days to go before we start DTD EOD. I have been using CB OPKs but think I will stick with cheapies this month as they were actually more accurate for me I think. Need to restock actually!

@TunnocksTCake yes definitely! I didn't have a temp drop or rise and it's pretty stable at the moment but thought I'd DTD just incase 🤣 hoping my cycles aren't too messed up as 21 days for O day is long enough already haha

cd1 just started good thing is I'm most likely ovulating during the weekend so more time to dtd as we won't be so tired.

Yes spotting now and just waiting for AF to hurry up. I took a test just to rule out this morning and it was stark white (11DPO) xxx

@Ttcdcno1 I know its shameful how much I spend on it all! I was really hoping I wasnt going to have to restock this month, everything ran out at the same time! 🙄

@Floralsandsmiles ah sorry I thought you were a few days further ahead... still in with a chance then, I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Im fine just bored waiting. We are having our garden landscaped at the moment and its currently in the horrible stage of just looking like a building site and the price keeps increasing so its a bit stressful but keeping me occupied while I wait for sex week!
Annoyingly I am going to be at a hen do on O day this month so Im praying it will be one day earlier or we are going to have to have some very early morning sex that day (DD wakes up at 6!)
