TWW Buddies - testing end of march

Hello! Looking for TWW buddies. I’m 2dpo today. It’s been a long haul for us - trying since Jan 2022 and never had a BFP in all that time. We have an appointment with the assisted conception unit on the 29th and I’m due my period on the 27th. I’m usually a terrible POAS addict and start testing at 8DPO but I’m determined to wait until 14DPO this cycle. I’m hoping that I won’t be too disappointed if it’s another BFN seeing as we have the fertility appointment right after. Wishing everyone lots of luck and baby dust!

Both of these look positive to me! Maybe just too early for a digital yet?

I hope so! Seems odd to gag two faint positives? And on different wee pots! Xx

These were my positive frer and digital weeks indicator at 11dpo last month... I'm sure you'll have a positive digital soon as it looks very similar to what my line was.
Unfortunately mine ended in a chemical so I'm obviously hoping for a bfp and sticky one again soon... Fingers crossed for you! x

Thank you! Sorry, was mainly just trying to get across that I got a positive on a digital with a similar strength line to you so I bet if you test tomorrow it'll say pregnant :) x

@ElleJones1 that's def a positive FRER, they pick up with way less hormones, the reason the other isn't positive yet Is just due to the levels the tests detect, FRER are meant to detect very low levels, so it's def positive the other test just isn't detecting the levels needed yet

In a few days you'll prob get a positive on the other types of tests just takes time to build up the hcg! What DPO are you!?

@Southsiderg4 you sounds the same as me! I tested yesterday and today. Pretty sure I’m 6/7 dpo! I just can’t help myself 😂

@ElleJones1 definitely looks positive to me! The digital ones (esp the normal, not early ones) are not as sensitive. Congratulations!

Thank you all! I hope so! I don’t really know my last period…… termination on 31st Jan and had a couple days spotting in between which was like a very very light period but possibly not? So all a bit unsure right now. I also had my first positive ovulation test on Saturday with CB digital. So I don’t know what came over me to do the test today?! We will see in a few days xx

@ElleJones1 yeah that's a bit of a weird one! I've heard of ovulation tests being used to detect pregnancy but you've obv ovulated before Saturday if you're getting positive tests now 😂

I'd say that spotting was def the 'period' normal for period after MC or termination to be very light or very heavy, so I'd def class that as your period but like you say it's hard to know when it's not a normal cycle!

@ElleJones1 i did, got a positive :) and AF is now 2 days late, very sore boobs and needing to wee all the time so all looking good.

@ElleJones1 that's great news. I agree with the others, the non digital one looks like the ones I've been getting. Hope you're feeling ok

I did another test this morning and it’s also super faint. I’m 12dpo but thinking maybe I’ve implanted on the later side. I’m going to keep using my cheapies and then use my digital when period is due on Thursday. Not getting my hopes up yet.

I did a cheap strip one today and absolutely negative 😟
Hoping everyone else has better results xx

@ElleJones1 the cheap strips are way less sensitive so I wouldn’t lose hope yet. Give it a couple of days and try with a FRER again.

this is my cheap strip this morning. I feel like I can see a slight shadow (more in real life) and all the others till now have been stark white. I’ve got 50 of these so I’ll probs end up doing another this evening!

It's so hard in a photo isn't it. I'd say if there is colour in real life, could well be an early positive xx fingers crossed for you!

Morning ladies, well I had a massive temp dip this morning and AF just arrived, 10DPO here so I'm out this month... short luteal phase but did start this month with a MC so prob not quite ready to hold a sticky egg yet!

@suz2285 aaah I’m sorry. I tested on an early this morning and nothing so not feeling particularly optimistic either. I think I’m 9dpo today. I’m sure it will happen for us both soon 😊

Hi all, can I join the club. Currently TTC baby number 2. Have a 7yr old and life and careers has held us up going for our second. Thankfully I’m only 34 so I have some time left. Anyways I have a 30/31 day cycle, I always know when I ovulate as I get EWCM but I never tracked it before as to what day in the cycle it usually comes. This month we decided to go for it, had BD every other day from CD12 to 17 and then BD everyday CD18-20. But I never got the usual EWCM which makes me think I didn’t ovulate. I don’t do temps or ovulation sticks so it’s so hard to know if it happened. I already feel like it’s not going to be this month for us.

@Babyhopeful23 if you didn't get ewcm, carry on bd every other day/ at least every 3 days.

I ovulated late in January, we bd like rabbits around time of ovulationand 3 days after, then I gave my husband a week off for a well deserved rest, which turned into 10 days due to late shifts st work. In this period I ovulated (late ovulation on CD 29/30ish) and I'd missed my chance as we didn't dtd around ovulation time.

So if you're not sure, keep at it!

Also 9DPO and stark white negative. I have a FRER to use tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

@Pitstop1986 keep going 😅😥 I’m hoping it happened around CD 15/16 and we caught it. It’s just so unusual that I didn’t have the EWCM that I always get. I did have the other symptoms- I usually feel more more attractive and better in myself around ovulation.
Wow I didn’t think ovulation could happen that late but I suppose it can anytime.

@Southsiderg4 I’m using an app to tell me when is best to test based on predicted ovulation day. You have loads of time for the BFP to develop so fingers crossed for you.

Its so hard not to think about it all day long, I’m literally counting down the days.

So tonight’s FRER…… I don’t know why I didn’t wait and do FMU! But I think we still have a line! Be pretty unlucky to have 3 Evaps?! Xx

10DPO today and negative on a FRER. I know it’s still early but I always pretty much resign myself to a failed cycle if it’s negative at this point. My temp did rise again today but I think im coming down with a cold. Onwards to our fertility appointment next week!
