Hi everyone,
Thought I'd create a new thread as the TTC Oct and Nov we're so helpful to me :) There were so many BFPs in the Nov group so statistics doing their thing there will be lots of BFPS in this Dec thread too which is super exciting.

Im currently on CD3 of my 5th cycle TTC #2.

@Floralsandsmiles @bringmearainbow 1dpo here too. We dtd last night and it was probably the least romantic experience of my life! I think we’re piling the pressure on again. OH is totally on board and wants to book his sperm analysis and I just want to say to him there’s nothing wrong with your sperm or my eggs - the problem is we don’t have sex enough and we could have been pregnant two years ago! Will see if we can give it one last go for this month later but I’m honestly not in the mood. I think I need to come off these threads - I sound like a jealous cow but I don’t like my own reaction to all the positives. 😒

@Angelselevenx eeek I wouldn't be worried about a faint line at 10/11dpo it's pretty normal. Eeek I would say that's positive esp with all the other lines on your IC 🥳 what time is Amazon turning up?

@Fallulah ahhh lovely big hugs ❤️ it's so hard when you've been trying so long it feels disheartening I get it sometimes a break from MN is def needed. How many times are you dtd in FW? Honestly if you're not in the mood for it then don't do it as your 1dpo it might be too late later anyway and you will just be putting yourself under more pressure to do it when the mood isn't there. I don't know if I explained that very well 🙈 xxx

I don’t understand why he says he’s on board and is even willing to have sworn analysis which a lot of men would be funny about, but won’t do this one thing that is supposed to be normal and natural for couples. It’s not like I’m asking him to do something disgusting - most people enjoy sex with their partner and he does when he does it (no issues), but he’s always tiiiiiiiiiiiired. I’m going to get old, have no children and resent him for being the reason I don’t… and yet it’s too late for me to find someone else. I hate this.

@Fallulah ahhh yes really frustrating for you I get it once technically is enough but the reality is if your trying it just isn't. Very odd he's willing to do tests etc but too tired to dtd. One thing that might help is maca root it helps with libido esp in men and try an iron supplement if he's low in iron he will be tired. have you tried dtd earlier in the evening? Sometimes if I don't catch mine as soon as I've put DS to bed by the time we've gone to bed for the evening it's too late we're both tired and then he has to be up early for work. During FW I just knab him earlier then we get in with what we have to do in the eve. Also just one last thing when you dtd who is doing the most work? maybe if it's him that's why he is "tired"it's a bit like going to the gym you can't be bothered before you go but once your actually there working out it's all good. Could you try taking charge a few times and just let him lay there so to speak so that he might not be inclined to say he's tired 🤔 sorry if none of these are helpful just a few thoughts xxx

@Fallulah getting it done can suck the fun out of the whole process, I’ve sometimes hidden ovulation dates from DH so that when I pounce he thinks it’s spontaneous
Unfortunately for us, it’s been a very long wait, so he is more on board with DTD as much as we can before we spend loads of savings on IVF.
Every other day over window is fine, or every 2 days if you really are pushing your luck with him.

😖 this month has been our most intense because we finally got a good sperm analysis after a very low one! but plenty of people just do it 1/2 times and that’s all it takes!

I’ll be in the TWW tomorrow - so I can be an experiment for waaaay to many baby dance days!

my heart goes out to you though, honestly, TTC is the pits - getting pissed at other persons positive tests is totally natural

Ladies, I'm going out for dinner tonight and not usually a drinker, but would it be ok to have a few drinks? I ovulated yesterday and worried it will muck up this fertile period of us TTC?? Xxxx

@Floralsandsmiles yes! Drinking in the TWW won't make a difference, I went out drinking last weekend and been getting a vvvfl since yesterday

@Floralsandsmiles I drank in the two week window only one or two glasses of wine at around 5DPO and got BFP. I tend to stick to wine or cider as they are lower % volume than spirts x
