Hi everyone,
Thought I'd create a new thread as the TTC Oct and Nov we're so helpful to me :) There were so many BFPs in the Nov group so statistics doing their thing there will be lots of BFPS in this Dec thread too which is super exciting.

Im currently on CD3 of my 5th cycle TTC #2.

@mum2liam1 they all look like very similar lines across all the dates? I'd personally expect to see some more line progression over such a long period of time. From experience, my lines got a bit dark and then stalled for days and it ended in a chemical last month. I hope it's not the same for you but odd there isn't really any line progression?

bringmearainbow · 20/03/2023 20:15

@Angelselevenx so ovulation is from the beginning of your peak LH rise so it should happen 8-20 hours after the first LH peak reading irrespective of when your LH drops down. So if you had your first peak at 10am you should expect ovulation to happen 8-20 hours later x

bringmearainbow · 20/03/2023 20:17

@mum2liam1 I find it really hard to see progression on IC tests. I don't think they really get going until much later on and even then the difference is minimal. I think frers are good for showing progression

Angelselevenx · 20/03/2023 20:19

@bringmearainbow thank you so much, starting to make a bit of sense. So if I had my peak at 7am, I could ovulate early hours tomorrow morning. These are the 3 from today.

I can't filter on your comments as I don't have MN premium but how long have you been TTC?

@Floralsandsmiles I’m feeling a bit despondent as I got another bfn today at 10dpo. I ovulated early (for me) this month, so it still feel ages until I can just get AF and start all over again!! Glad you’re feeling positive and ready for your fertile window! Xx

Aww I'm sorry @AlleycatMarie , that sucks! 😢 you're not out until AF arrives and its still early.. I'm crossing my fingers for you! Xxx

mum2liam1 · 20/03/2023 20:31

Yeah I was gonna do frer tommorow .

I read alot about change in test over days I'm not sure as have a long cycle whether It take longer to get postive test not to sure .

Had chemical last month so first week stong positve then disappeared.

bringmearainbow · 20/03/2023 20:32

@Angelselevenx yes that's right. Glad it's making a bit of sense! God mine is a long old faff 😂 so I had DS in 2021 fell second cycle easy pregnancy no probs. We were getting married last May and knew we wanted to try for no 2 straight after so I came off the pill in Dec 21 in preparation and I we managed to fall because I thought we were not in the FW but apparently I had an earlier O that cycle after having only dtd once 5 days before ovulation back in March last year 😅 9 weeks before my wedding ooops! We lost that baby at about 10 weeks but didn't find out until 12 week scan in June. I had the surgery and we fell again in July the cycle after. Went for a early scan in September only to discover another MC. This time I tried to wait for nature but it didn't happen and I ended up having another surgery in November. Roll on 10 weeks later and I finally got my period back beginning of Jan only to then pass a massive bit of retained tissue. So this is cycle 3 since then but it feels like it's been cycle one million with the amount of tests I've done 🙄 if we fall this cycle it will be the exact same dates as my first MC so I'm manifesting that as a positive sign 🤞🏼🙊

Angelselevenx · 20/03/2023 20:45

@bringmearainbow I'll get there, it's all so new to me I just need to know what to expect to when to DTD and I'll just let nature take its course (remind me of this comment in my TWW, I'm a nightmare)

Oh bless you, sorry to hear of your losses. That's also crazy you fell 5 days before ovulation, they do say when you're not trying is when it happens. I've got my fingers crossed for you for this cycle 🤞🏼, what day of your cycle are you on at the minute?

I seen in an earlier comment you ovulate around CD20 as well, I haven't seen many others that ovulate around that time. How long are your cycles/period?

AlleycatMarie · 20/03/2023 20:48

Thank you @Floralsandsmiles 🥰
Have everything crossed for you this month too xxx

bringmearainbow · 20/03/2023 20:55

@Angelselevenx haha I'll remind you the tww is eurgh 🙄 I'm so impatient I will test early no doubt I'm all good now I'll say yes of course I'll wait but I won't 😂

Thank you it was tough but I am 37 so age not on my side either we've had one healthy baby so it's likely just bad chromosomes. When I think back to it it's mad there's like a 1% chance or something crap like that yet there we go it happened 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm only CD8 today my LP is around 11 days so my cycles have ranged from anywhere from 27 days up to about 33 days. I've mainly ovulated around CD20 but I've had a few early ones too which does make it bloody hard to pinpoint 🙄 I started my opks tonight just incase I get an early one but I'm not expecting to

Hope you've pinned the BF down for plenty of baby dancing 😂 is he one that likes to know it's the right time or do you have to keep it to yourself?

Angelselevenx · 20/03/2023 21:03

@bringmearainbow I was the same last month, I tested so many times when I knew it was negative but this time I'm going to try not to test and wait for my period which is due on 1st April (LOL who am I kidding!?)

That's a positive, you've had a healthy baby. So many people don't even start trying til 35+ and there are many positive and happy stories although I know what you mean, it must be a worry but staying positive is just as important!

Hopefully you catch your peak earlier than CD20 cause the wait is so bloody long isn't it. I came off HBC in December and gave myself January to get cycles back to normal and since then everything seems to be going like clockwork, positive ovulation tests on CD20, and cycles 31 days which like you makes my luteal phase 11 days.

We've BD twice whilst NC is saying high fertility and I've already hinted I'll be expecting it again tonight 😂 he knows when it's happening because there's no hell on earth I'd be BD 5 days on the trot if I wasn't fertile, need to save that energy for important dates 😂. I'm only on cycle 2 and I do worry it'll become less and less romantic every month. (We're not romantic but you know what I mean)

Sorry essay but it's so nice having someone to speak about it to! None of my friends know we're TTC

bringmearainbow · 20/03/2023 21:17

@Angelselevenx 😂 it's so hard to wait and surely that's why they made the IC like £10 for 50 right 😅 lol I don't mind an essay honestly I wish I had been on MN when we were TTC our first no one minds if you go on and on about how crappy and long TTC is and they don't care that you test early and they even help you squint at tests 😂 I've been on here since June and honestly met some lovely lovely people that have really helped me through everything

I kind of wished we had started trying earlier than we did at 34 but I was so wrapped up in my hobby that it didn't even occur to me until DH said shall we try for a baby the day after he proposed 😂 then that's all I wanted and could think about now I wish we had started even a couple of years before. Oh don't get me started on Ovulating CD20 😩 the wait feels endless doesn't it.

Haha I never tell DH when it's time but I'm sure he knows no way I could be bothered to dtd that much if it wasn't 🤭 in July we did 3 days in a row and it was exhausting. I do know what you mean it's a balance between we have to do this today rather than shall we have some nookie coz you're in the mood

How old are you?

Floralsandsmiles · 20/03/2023 21:52

AlleycatMarie · 20/03/2023 20:48

Thank you @Floralsandsmiles 🥰
Have everything crossed for you this month too xxx

Thank you sweetie! 😊 @AlleycatMarie xxxx

Angelselevenx · 20/03/2023 22:22

@bringmearainbow well that's true, and that's why I keep needing to order more each month because I piss on them like there's no tomorrow even when I'm like 2dpo and implantation wouldn't have even occurred yet. I think we all just need to laugh through it because otherwise I'll just drive myself mad! That's so lovely though, thank you for the reassurance.

I get that, but hindsight is a wonderful thing isn't it.

Funny, the boyf just asked if I'm ovulating and if that's why we're doing it so much 😂 I'd never actually said I was I just assumed he knew because of the amount. Yeah it's tough isn't it, I think I start to early as well so I started BD regularly after my period which was CD9 but maybe I should try just push it out to around ovulation. I'll see what happens over the next few months 😅🤞🏼

I'm 29, boyfriend is 32.

AussieMum888 · 21/03/2023 06:34

Congratulations to those who have gotten BFPs so far !!
I had the faintest line this morning at 9DPO but I'm also spotting some red blood so not feeling hopeful this bean will stick!
Any positive stories out there that ended in a beautiful baby after initial bleeding?

OP posts:
bringmearainbow · 21/03/2023 07:16

@Angelselevenx haha he's perceptive 😂 hopefully this month you'll get a BFP and won't need to work on timings 🤞🏼

@AussieMum888 could be implantation bleeding I know it's red but I've read of some people having what they thought was an actual period. I think they say as long as it isn't clotty then it's likely IB 🤔 do you normally spot before your period? Want us to take a look at your test?

AussieMum888 · 21/03/2023 07:18

Here's the Vvvv faint line I got this morning at 9DPO....not getting my hopes up because of the bleeding. :/

@bringmearainbow here's the test to look at. Feel free to give an honest answer as I know its super faint.
I always spot before my periods. It's an ongoing issue for me. Spot anywhere between 7 and 10 DPO every single month! Had hormones bloods done once before and all we're ok !

OP posts:
bringmearainbow · 21/03/2023 07:36

@AussieMum888 oh I can def see that and it looks pink to me 🤞🏼 oh that's annoying I think that honestly it can go either way some people spot in early pregnancy and some people don't and have had healthy babies in both cases the hardest thing now is you just have to wait and see ❤️ I know this point is not for everyone as some people believe and some don't but now is a really really good time to manifest things that you want so hard as it is try not to think that it's all over but imagine that your line will get stronger and stronger and imagine yourself going through the stages of pregnancy and having a healthy baby at the end. I'm keeping everything crossed that it's a sticky sticky bean for you x

Angelselevenx · 21/03/2023 07:37

@bringmearainbow this mornings ovvie stick and graph 🤔

Sierra26 · 21/03/2023 07:37

@AussieMum888 i can see it :) tentative congrats! When my gynaecologist was assessing my regular (non implantation) spotting, she said it’s possible I’d still see it happening if I fell pregnant. And I’ve read a few positive stories on MN of where that’s happened. So you’re not out yet 🤞🏻 and 9DPO is still v early to be seeing a line xx

Tryingtoconceivenumber2 · 21/03/2023 07:50

@AussieMum888 I can see that too tentative congratulations. I bled in my first week of pregnancy last time and all was well but was pinky / brown from memory. Had my BFP then started bleeding so thought I was out but all was ok. CD is 3 next month. Fingers crossed for you x

bringmearainbow · 21/03/2023 07:56

@Angelselevenx excellent temp went up a bit and your opk is lighter than before so it's coming down. Temp should go up again tomorrow hopefully it will be a sharp rise but don't worry if it isn't you might just have a slow rise in temp

AussieMum888 · 21/03/2023 07:58

@bringmearainbow @Sierra26 @Tryingtoconceivenumber2 thank you so much ladies!! Really appreciate all your wonderful comments!! I am for sure manifesting postive vibes. Will test again tomorrow and so long as this bleeding doesn't worsen I'll be happy :) I'll keep you all updated. Sending baby dust to everyone xxxxx

@AussieMum888 I know it's so so hard but maybe leave it 48 hours if you can as HCG should have gone up quite a bit by then. That's what I've done both times x
