I have brought the list across, fluffed the cushions and put some nice tea to brew. I baked muffins and biscuits too, help yourselves.

SparklyMummy · 10/02/2008 20:43

Sorry about your BFN too EI. We've missed ya today!!
Piper we need your BFP tomorrow...we havent had a BFP for a while. I've written 675 words and can't do anymore. It's too boring!

MrsEi25 · 10/02/2008 20:45

hi sparkly i have been at a loss with not being able to get on MN to 'see' you lot are you training to be a teacher?? i had to finish my 2500word assignment the other day and just about managed it im training to be a nurse BTW
xx ei xx

SparklyMummy · 10/02/2008 20:49

Yeh I am training to be a teacher...I must be mad. I have 2 assignments in on Tues and then I have 4 weeks planning to write, then to teach, and then to evaluate. AGGHH: it's going to be hard work. What year are you in EI? Will you become a MW after doing nursing? I need to get pg before term starts in Sept or DP will make me go back for finals!!

loveverona · 10/02/2008 20:57

Oh sorry to hear that Piper - feel bad now for piling on the pressure! Good luck in the morning....

Sorry too Ei. Have to say the Kitkat bites and cuppa sound like a bloody good idea to me...don't mind if I copy you do you?! (runs to kitchen and frantically searches for chocolate) x

MrsEi25 · 10/02/2008 20:58

im just about to go minto my final year sparkly at long last as i had to put it off for a year when i had DD so i am getting back into the swing of it after a year being back my assignmentd due in next week and i am getting a bit nervous handing it in in case they find out i am a big fat fraud im not really BTW
i would love to go into midwifery but it is another 18months unpaid training after i qualify and there are even less jobs in MW than nursing at the mo!! my sister wanted to be a primary school teacher but has decided to become a writer instead she is rather good thoughhow long have you got?? my friend from school is now a teacher in the school i want DD to go to aswell
xx ei xx

MrsEi25 · 10/02/2008 20:59

hi loveverona you can have some of mine if you want...ive got icecream balls aswell with caramel inside and covered in cho if anyone fancies one
xx ei xx

MrsEi25 · 10/02/2008 21:01

twinklingfairy · 10/02/2008 22:04

Oh mrsei why does the contents of your fridge always sound so damn good?

REally sorry about your BFN but at least you really know your cycle, you did say you were due today didn't you?
I am very happy that my cycle has become so predictable in the past few months, I know when to start BD and when I can let DH off the hook and then when I can get excited, or not.FF truly is my friend
Though this month is a little different and I know those extra 2 days are gonna kill me!

SparklyMummy · 10/02/2008 22:08

We're watching attonement 2nite. It looks good so far.
In year 2 EI..it's a demanding course as i'm sure nursing is. I started it when Lara was 9 months. What is ur DD name? My DP wants to become a writer. He's a teacher too - did english at oxford and then did PGCE. I think it's difficult to get into but good luck to both of them.

TF yeah i did say AF was due today she was still an unwelcome visitor though but an expected one nevertheless my fridge is only full of goodies as i was expecting to need them this weekend and hey ho i was right but at least i can enjoy my black cherry schnapps without guilt
sparkly my DD is called sian and was born mid semester though not while at uni thank god my sis goes on writers forums etc and has been furiously sending her short stories off and has had a few poems published up to now good luck to your DH
NOAM get the after eights out and have a cuppa

SparklyMummy · 10/02/2008 22:58

Hey EI great Welsh name!! We have a Lara Ffion so we got our Welsh in there somewhere...DP hasn't actually put pen to paper yet but it's something he wants to do. I got him an empty pad and a pen from the DD for his bday and hopefully he will fill it with wise words that will make a million...or just a baby! I'm off to bed. Nos da all. Cysgwch yn dawel (sleep well)..i'm going to add a bit more welsh each night :O

MrsEi25 · 10/02/2008 23:05

wow sparkly we will be fluent in welsh language soon we chose her name as a salute to 1. my welsh family heritage on my dads side,(jones and lewis major family names) 2. my irish family on my mums side (sian is apparantly a variation on siobhan- my mums name) and also 3. as a similar name to DH (sean). she is DEFINITELY a sian. in every way i love children with names that suit them down to the ground

Piper sorry for BFN, any news this morning ?
How are my cycle buddies this morning ? Anything to report EleveId, Treats or HCB never ? and HCB JollyBear any test news from you ?...
FF has moved my ov date to Fri - so now I agree, I knew I was right [smug emoticon] !!

fruitloop79 · 11/02/2008 09:59

Morning girls

Just popped in to say I've got my first GP appointment this morning since being diagnosed so wish me luck! I've just gotta get my hands on that Clomid
I'm on CD50 today so AF could arrive any moment - OPK said I ov'd on CD36 so AF should be here by now! If I can start taking Clomid when AF arrives then I can get the ball rolling. Otherwise my next AF isn't due for up to 80 odd days so I could be waiting a very long time to start taking it, iyswim.

SparklyMummy · 11/02/2008 10:34

Good luck fruitloop! I hope they dish out enough clomid, not just for you, but for you to sell on the blackmarket to the rest of us as well.
Off to Bristol Zoo this morning.
Morning all!

Waves to newbies mentalpup, moonlit and in particular new cycle buddy loveverona

Still waiting to OV here and getting darn impatient (but don't I say that every month, lol!). BD'ing so far this month has been pretty poor - only once on Saturday am and DH got there way ahead of me

Good luck with your Docs appt Fruitloop. Hope all goes well.

Sorry to hear of your BFN MrsEi

Does anyone know how long it takes for vit B6 to start making a difference? Do people start seeing an extension of their luteal phase straight away or does it take a few months?
