I have brought the list across, fluffed the cushions and put some nice tea to brew. I baked muffins and biscuits too, help yourselves.

morning ladies
hope you are all well good luck FL with your GP appointment dont forget the clomid to pass around here hope you get the treatment you want
NOAM soory Ov is giving you the run around. i would just keep BDing every few days just to cover yourself
how is everyone else??
im a bit up the wall today with the house sale etc its starting to look like the sale of our dream house is going to fall through but there is another one round the corner that is nice aswell so we have got options just in case i hate that things are never simple with me and DHs decisions
ah well rant over
xx ei xx

mibbes · 11/02/2008 12:37

FruitLoop good luck with appt.
never my HCB, am so for you that you are unsure about what is going on. I assume you are not temping ? I am finding charting temps is a Godsend as it takes away a lot of the guess work. If it helps atall I had EWCM as early as CD8 this cycle - it came and went then stayed for 3 days just before ov - I ov'd on CD17. I'd say you are either about to ov (in which case find some enthusiasm and bd ASAP!) or you ov'd last week and CM is actually PG CM as apparently it is quite common to have loads of CM in PG. I don't want to raise your hopes too much though. The only other thing I can think of is anovulatory cycle as you can get EWCM several times throughout this type of cycle, but I wouldn't get too disheartened as I had EWCM on and off for 9 days and temps suggest I have ov'd so it is perfectly possible egg about to be released ! What is your usual cycle length ? Do you think CP has messed with cycle and delayed ov ?
glasto I have started Vit B6 this cycle so don't know yet if it has worked (only 3dpo), I'll let you know. I don't know whether it was the B6 or the VitE and zinc have been taking to encourage healthy ovulation but had a small amount of pinky blood at ov which was a big as this has never happended to me before. I have read that B6 should take effect quickly so here's hoping !

mibbes · 11/02/2008 12:39

cross-post MrsEi, that is rubbiah about the house purchase. Is your house sale still proceeding ? When you due to exchange ?

glastochick · 11/02/2008 13:16

Hi mibbes. This cycle is my first on B6 also. Not expecting to OV until Friday though, but hoping that my luteal phase will extend longer than 10 days to give me a better chance this cycle. Have never had pinky blood at OV so will look out for it. The only difference I've noticed this month is lots more CM (although not EWCM )

Oufton · 11/02/2008 13:55

Hello, I've been lurking in here for a while and have finally decided to make an appearance since you all seem very lovely and equally obsessed by making babies! I'll try to get my details right, I'm TTC #1, Cycle 2 and CD20.

Welcome Oufton - another obsessive ttcer, hurray !

never glad to hear you are planning a BD. Am impressed that your DH is au fait with EWCM ! Mine would bolt if I went into the nitty gritty ! It will definitely do no harm to give it a go. Can you get opks for this cycle in case you are about to ov ? Definitely a good idea to temp and opk next cycle . I have read that anovulatory cycles can happen to women who have been on the pill for a long time but nothing specifcally about post-CP so I'd be inclined to think late ov is what has happened. I had mega late ov last cycle (CD30) which is way late for me but I can only assume it was caused by the excitement/stress of xmas. Maybe the stress post-CP has added to lack of punctuality of the egg !

glasto if it helps I used a few tips I'd read about to increase EWCM this cycle (as had very little last 2 cycles) and it worked a treat - I took EPO, Flaxseed oil and drank grapefruit juice and green tea. I'm not sure which worked best but the combination definitely made a big difference. Also some of the ladies last week were commenting that they noticed more CM after a bowel movement. I started "simulating" a bowel movement each time I went to the loo iyswim and it always made some EWCM appear. I had none atall on my knickers, only on TP but there was plenty of it ! Hope that helps and I haven't just grossed you out !

Oufton · 11/02/2008 16:16

Thank you for the warm welcome, I feel at home already.

Am most excited that NOAM said the phrase "new house new baby" since we moved house a couple of months ago, I'm definitely taking that as a good sign, I wonder how long the luck lasts for?

MrsEi25 · 11/02/2008 16:34

welcome oufton grab a cuppa and a choc chip cookie (not homemade bought from asda but theres enough to go around if anyone else fancies one) i totally believe in 'new house new baby' syndrome i moved nearly 3 years ago and 2/3 days later i got my BFP i had waited 10 cycles for good luck
we have decided to go and view some potential houses so the first is tonight im hoping to provoke sods law and as soon as we find another house the one we want will move forward
hope everyone is ok

Oufton · 11/02/2008 16:38

I must say if you watch any kind of property shows on tv the woman involved is always pregnant within about 2 weeks (usually when there's no roof on the house or heating etc etc) so there definitely must be some truth in it!

mibbes · 11/02/2008 16:44

OMG I hadn't made that connection Oufton but you are so right ! Just think hoe often Kirstie and Phil have gone back to visit a couple in their new house and the woman is either PG or had a baby ! And also on Grand Designs, Kevin is frequently toasting a pregnancy ! ooohhh I want to move house now, even though we moved into a 4 bed family home 18 months ago ! I wonder what could my moving house excuse be...?

SparklyMummy · 11/02/2008 16:57

Does re-decoration count or does it have to be a move? We've recently had a new roof and an extra ensuite built in the loft....that was a few months a go now so i've prob missed out.

Treats · 11/02/2008 17:05

Hello, hello.

Nothing much to report here. I've stopped getting any EWCM, so I must have definitely ov'd sometime last week - not sure when though. Have now got very sore breasts, which is typical for the two weeks before my AF, so guess I'm definitely in the luteal phase.

Thought I'd missed out on the opportunity to BD on Friday night, after my brother - who was staying with us - was violently sick and extensively redecorated our bathroom. After having cleared up the mess and shovelled him into bed, I didn't think DH would really fancy it, but he was very willing.....

kate2179 · 11/02/2008 17:43

How did it go at the docs fruitloop? Really hope they took your concerns seriously and gave you some magic beans

Piper How you doing today? What flavour yoghurt did you go for? Mine was rhubarb flavour activia - my favourite! But I think any type would do!

Digitalgirl If I didn't know what a tough time you've had so far I would be very at you being 2 days ahead of me and getting a booking in appt. My gp told me the she won't involve the midwife until after my next scan. It's like she's waiting for me to mc Will try my best to prove her wrong though! Felt more sick today than have so far so fingers crossed... If I can choose whether to have my next scan a week on fri (9+1) or on the following monday (9+4) which do you think I should do? Am veering towards the monday cos (1.) I think twilightsurfer had her mc at 9+5 and am paranoid and (2.) we have my husdand's godson's christening on the sunday and I'm not sure I could handle it if I've had bad news at the scan... What do you think?

Sorry that's not really a ttc post ladies

kate2179 · 11/02/2008 17:44

Forgot to say welcome oufton

fruitloop79 · 11/02/2008 17:45

Hi guys,
Saw my GP this morning who told me to come back in 5 months if not pg by then as I'm obviously able to have a baby So I said I'd like to go on Clomid or Metformin and he said if that's the route I'd like to take (well, duh!) then he will refer me to the sub-fertility unit at St.Georges. So I've got an appointment on 5th March to see a Gynae (who I can't remember the name of but GP said is very good) So I've got to wait till then to start on some medication that's if they give it to me! So now I'm hoping I have another 80 odd day cycle this time round so I can still take Clomid at next cycle.

No magic beans yet but at least I've got the ball rolling!

twinklingfairy · 11/02/2008 18:01

Absolutely "well duh"" FL of Course you want the drugs!! Silly GP
4rd March, that is only 3 weeks away, not long at all

kate I think I would go with the monday appointment, the more time passes he closer you are to it sticking. On the other would you rather know sooner that everything is ok?

No, I stick to my original choice, Monday, for me.

NTR (Nothing to report is that a new TLA or an old one I just haven't used yet?)
Anyway 6dpo (according to FF, I reckon at least 7 maybe 8) I am getting tender boobs now and agai, but not for lon enough to think anything of it. 2ww is poo.

helloo to oufton do you know when you ov'd/when to expect AF? CD20 is quite a a bit into a average cycle.

digitalgirl · 11/02/2008 18:01

welcome newbies , hopefully you won't be here in the waiting room for too long.

sorry to those back at the top of the list, hope you're well stocked with wine and choccies and those delicious sounding ice-cream balls courtesy of mrsei FL hope the docs was ok and you managed to score some clomid

noam you could start temping now...and get an idea of your potentially post-ov range. however, if you've not ov'ed this cycle then it won't be as high as it should be (yet). also most people get a temp drop on the day AF is due so you get a bit of a warning.

kate I'd go for the later scan if you think you'd rather know after the weekend. however, you should probably stop comparing yourself to other people's MC dates as there's always going to be someone who had a mc later than your last scan. i have everything crossed for you that it goes well and sets your mind at ease.

digitalgirl · 11/02/2008 18:02

oops x-posted FL sorry...

twinklingfairy · 11/02/2008 18:03

doh! I got that totally wrong, I thought I made a mistake and that it was the 3rd, but then read through and I was completely out! 5th of March is not too far away

kate2179 · 11/02/2008 18:27

Thanks DG & TF I agree, monday 25th it is! (If I can get an appt then ) DG I know you're right about not comparing myself to others, it is v silly. It's just that this can be SOOOOOO tough can't it? Not really moaning, am very grateful to have got this far, it's just emotionally exhausting...

Went to see my tiny little goddaughter again today, she is so gorgeous They had to go back to hosp on sat as she had jaundice and now she has an eye infection - worrying her poor mother silly! They were finally allowed to go home this afternoon so we all left the hosp together which was really nice. Hopefully the next time I walk out of hospital with a baby it will be mine - either that or I'll get arrested!

BabyFever · 11/02/2008 18:33

Hello everyone - have realised I am still on the graduate list - unfortunately I had a miscarriage a few weeks ago, so I've taken myself off - not sure how to add myself back on to the ttc list though - is it my first cycle again or do you count the previous two?

SparklyMummy redecoration defo counts if Property Ladder is anything to go by, the women who get embroiled in doing houses are always falling pregnant at crucial moments, Mibbes could you perhaps become the new Sarah Beeny instead of moving house? Actually speaking of Sarah Beeny I've definitely proved my own point - she is ALWAYS pregnant that woman.

TF I'm 7dpo (I get pains and I'm happy to report my right ovary appears to be on duty this month) and AF is due on 20th so I'm drumming my fingers like you, I've only been at this for 2 months and the 2ww seems like the longest thing in the world!

Kate fingers crossed for you for the 25th, I've been reading this thread for a while and am wishing you lots of good luck.

SparklyMummy · 11/02/2008 20:02

Oufton [waves]..forgot to say welcome earlier!
Treats Hope the next 10 days pass quickly and there's good news at the end of them.
Kate I think it's best to go for the Monday too becayse at least the bean will be 4 days older and 4 days bigger and you'll see more. Best of luck hun. [sending positive vibes]
FL Glad you've been refered. Three weeks seems quite far away but it will be worth it when you come out with some clomid.
EI Sorry to hear about the house problems. Let's hope that you do provoke sod's law and the house of your dreams works out..and your moving date is soon...and you move in and get a BFP.
Piper Where are you? Have you tested yet and have I missed your post.
Hi to anyone else who I haven't mentioned
Have you noticed how many pregnant people are on bbc tonight? I'm getting weird pains in my tummy today and brown discharge continued until yday (that's 7/8 days of usual cycle 5 days)so i'm wondering even more if I did have a CP. I'm going to do my shopping online and order my first pack of OPKs. At least i'll know if I am OV because I still have no idea.
Sorry for long post!

SparklyMummy · 11/02/2008 20:08

Babyfever Only just read your post and was sorry to read about you mc. (((((hugs))))
I think your other cycles count too. That's what I did when I joined. Best of luck with TTC. X
